Yasmika was great and he showed us most places in Ubud and it was a great non rushed trip. Yasmika explained significance in each place and we learned a lot about the culture and history with each place. Overall it was a really good day. Would highly recommend.
Kris is super experienced in this tour as a born-in Bali. Learn a lot about the culture/ history/ language/ lifestyle. He made me see the view not only from appearances, but the culture and reason behind. Unforgettable memories as the last day in Bali. Highly recommend 👍🏼
It was a memorable day outing in Ubud / Bali, with our guide, Mr. Surya. He is a fantastic guide, friendly and knowledgeable. He knows the routes & places well. He took us to 3 waterfalls, paddy terraces, old temples and for coffee tasting. At the end we had a great lunch and food was excellent. We would recommend this tour to our friends.
Kia ora, 3 very happy NZ customers here. Aris was professional and described every part of the tour in great detail with a lot of local knowledge. He also allowed us to play our music as we travelled between each destination, making each connection flow with laughter and discovery of each others’s cultures. Thanks Aris you are a funny guy!
We had an enjoyable day seeing all of the different parts of Ubud, including art, wildlife, food and agriculture. The trip had a good balance of guided and independent time to explore. Our driver, Gede, was very knowledgeable in all aspects of the tour. He was very patient, kind and super fun. He also takes the best pictures! Thanks for a great day, Gede!
We had an incredible full-day tour in Bali, and our guide Gede made the entire experience unforgettable. He was warm, knowledgeable, patient, and had a genuine passion for sharing Balinese culture. He also happened to be an amazing photographer and captured some truly special moments for us throughout the day! Our adventure began with a visit to a batik workshop, followed by stops at jewelry makers and wood carvers, where we watched skilled artisans at work and learned about Bali’s rich creative traditions. Next, we visited a stunning Balinese temple, where Gede explained the cultural and spiritual significance of the site. He took beautiful photos of us here, and we truly appreciated how thoughtful he was in helping us remember the moment. After the temple, we explored the Tegenungan Waterfall, which was absolutely breathtaking! The sound of the rushing water and the lush surroundings made it a magical stop. From there, we headed to the Satria Luwak Coffee Plantation, where we sampled 14 varieties of coffee and tea, including the famous Luwak coffee. The setting was serene, and the tasting experience was fun and memorable. Lunch followed at Bebek Teba Sari, a gorgeous garden restaurant serving authentic Balinese cuisine. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was peaceful, and it was a perfect break in the middle of our journey. We ended the day at Sangeh Monkey Forest, where we fed the monkeys and had them gently perch on our shoulders—such a fun and unique experience! Although the rain kept us from visiting the rice terraces, the day was so full of beauty, culture, and connection that we didn’t feel like we missed a thing. The tour lasted about 10 hours, and every moment was worth it. If you’re visiting Bali, we highly recommend this tour—and make sure to ask for Gede! His kindness, deep knowledge, and great sense of timing (and photography!) made this one of the most memorable days of our trip.
Absolutely amazing tour! Gede was the perfect guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make our day unforgettable. We watched how wood carvings, jewelry, and fabrics are made, ate at an authentic Balinese restaurant, and the highlight: visiting the monkey forest where monkeys jumped on us to grab bananas—so fun! Our driver was also fantastic and made the ride smooth and comfortable. This tour gave us a real taste of Bali’s culture, nature, and charm. Highly recommend Gede for anyone wanting a fun and memorable experience. Five stars all the way!
We had an excellent relaxing time! Our tour guide (Gede) was easy going and we were never rushed from one location to another.
The trip was truly great and memorable. Tour guide Gede and the drIver did an excellent job to make sure we have alot of fun and safe.
So I’m a first time solo traveller and I was reluctant to book the tour because I’m not an ‘activities’ girl but I’m so happy I did! Aris was engaging, well informed, funny and didn’t make me feel like I was alone. And!! He takes the best pictures!!!!! Definitely recommend a million times!!!
The Ubud tour was fantastic. Our driver and guide Yasmika was terrific as he let us pick what elements we would like to prioritise and tailored the day around this. He was also knowledgeable about the various historical sites and the lunch recommendation was delicious.
We had an absolutely fantastic full-day private tour in Bali with Krisna as our guide. From start to finish, the experience was seamless and enjoyable. Krisna took us to some of Bali’s most beautiful and iconic spots, including a stunning waterfall, a fascinating coffee plantation where we sampled a variety of local brews, an awe-inspiring temple, the breathtaking rice terraces, and the sacred monkey forest. All entry fees were included, which made the entire day stress-free. Krisna’s knowledge of each location and his willingness to share insights about Balinese culture added so much depth to our experience. He was attentive, accommodating, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the day. Krisna also selected a wonderful spot for lunch with delicious food and scenic views—a perfect way to recharge mid-tour. His driving was exceptional, which is no small feat given Bali’s sometimes busy and winding roads. We always felt safe and at ease. This tour was a highlight of our trip, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide than Krisna. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a memorable and well-organised tour of Bali. Thank you, Krisna, for making our day so special!
We are mother and daughter (38/69 yrs), and had a good day with Kris :) Lots of information and impressions, so make sure you’re well rested, and also; bring snacks. Kris taught us a lot about Bali, and willingly answered all of all questions. He’s calm and polite, and a good driver in the crazy Bali traffic! Be prepared to spend a decent amount of time in the car, which can be used for resting in between stops, snacking and talking. You’ll also see different sides of Bali through the car windows. Destinations were mostly good, a bit «touristy» some places, but it’s what you can expect. Only Monkey Forest was crowded at the time we visited, but it was great seeing the monkeys and lush forest. Waterfall is really beautiful, (bring swimming suit). Temple and family compound visits felt pretty authentic and interesting. The rice field was beautiful, but too touristy. Ziplines, «Instagram swings», club music etc, would prefer a more authentic one. But there was a small restaurant where we had lunch with a view. Thank you! <3
Our guide Mr Kresna was so giod. He explained everything in details and so accommodative. We enjoyed the tour and it is so worth joining with this tour. A whole new experience about Bali and learning so much fro Kresna. Thank you so much
Had a excellent tour. Our driver/guide Gede was awesome. Very funny and knowledgeable. Attractions were great. Highly recommend
We had a great day out with Gede and would recommend him. He was an excellent guide, very informative and takes great pictures. We saw and did a lot, it was fabulous!
Krisna gave us a very good 8 hour introductory tour to Bali. Private tour is the perfect way to go as you can set your own itinerary and schedule. Krisna was accommodating and flexible; he made sure he knew what time we needed to return to ship; brought us to a nice restaurant for lunch overlooking the beautiful rice terraces. We visited the Puseh Batuan Temple, Tegenungan Waterfall, Tegalalang Rice Terrace & Sacred Monkey Forest. He was willing to do much more with us, but we were tired and ready to head back to the ship. Good driver; would definitely recommend 😋
Fantastic tour from start to finish, giving my partner and I the opportunity to visit many of the top sights in Ubud. The guide was extremely knowledgeable of the area and willing to answer all of the questions that we had as well as being an excellent photographer (an added bonus of the trip!). Would highly recommend!
Great tour! We visited all the must go places in Ubud! Yasmaki was amazing! He answered every questions about the Baliness culture! He also has amazing photography skills! Could not have asked for a better tour guide!
There were 4 of us who took this tour & we had the most fantastic day with our guide Juli. He spoke great English and was very attentive to all our needs and made the trip so interesting as we learnt so much about Bali & its people. We visited the monkey sanctuary (so many monkeys!) and found the Banyan trees fascinating. We chose to visit a silversmiths, then went to a temple, and a waterfall. The highlight for us were the rice terraces, they were beautiful and provide much of the rice for the island. It was a full day but Juli was so informative - and made the day lots of fun. Highly recommended
We went on a private tour with our fantastic guide Juli. He took us to Ubud where we visited the monkey forest, a Hindu temple, silversmith…a great restaurant for lunch, then continued to the rice terraces and finished with a waterfall. Juli was so informative, fun and great English…we had a really really enjoyable day. Highly recommended
Juli was brilliant, excellent local knowledge & his English was great. had a lovely day out. highly recommended.
Did this trip yesterday our driver was called Raka what a great guy and tour guide took us to loads of places never felt rushed. He knew great details and explained everything very well in English. He also took very good photos without even asking and knew the good locations to take them. Also handled bad traffic extremely well. Overall a brilliant day would highly recommend this trip.
We had hotel pick up private guide just us in a car with him Lovely chap very friendly and nice Included monkey forest / coffee plantation / rice fields / waterfall / old style home / temple we stopped for lunch. All very good the waterfall has lots of steps so not for the not very mobile. Traffics horrendous in Bali not the tours fault just how it is so a lot of time in the car we were out from 8.30 to 5.30. The guide spoke great English very accommodating. The not thing we had to pay for was lunch. Definitely recommend just be ready to sit in traffic
We are first timer in Bali and wanted to see the iconic landmarks. Read from reviews that it is best to book a private car to get around Bali. Glad we actually did. Our driver was Wayan Krisna. He was an amazing driver. He definitely knew how to get around the traffic in Ubud. Not only did we see the greatest spots but we also learned so much about the Balinese culture, religion and traditional family values from him. Thank you Wayan Krisna for driving us around Sam. You are great are it. We are definitely going to hit you up when we return to Bali.
We spent a lovely day with our guide Darma. The tour started at 08.30 at our hotel and ended around 14.00. The Monkey forest, waterfall, coffee tasting, temple and the rice terrace was breathing. Darma told and explained us so much, it was super interesting! We learned and saw a lot on that day. Thank you so much, would love to do it again!
Fantastic experience with Gede, charming, knowledgeable, and super flexible with the itinerary! Also very very fun, we highly recommend it! It has been an absolute charm and we had a great time! And he has taken some incredible videos and photos for us!! It's a machine with a camera!
