Amazing half day immersion into the culture of Balinese silver making. Toured the peaceful beautiful grounds. Witnessed each step of the creation. Met so many staff always with a smile. Able to design with a designer and create my unique design. Tried my hand at making the design. Followed up with lunch of delicious local foods with staff from all areas of the company. Would definitely do again.

30th Anniversary. Awesome intimate experience exploring the steps of making silver jewelry. Every staff member made it fun and educational. Love the John Hardy utilizes restored silver. Love the family dynamics and thoroughly enjoyed participating in the community lunch. Highly recommend visiting this once in a lifetime experience.
he John hardy boutique is located in a beautiful location I got a special tour through the story and process from start to finish of these beautiful jewellery collections I will definitely come back to get a few items from the collection many thanks to Lisa the tour guide
I visited Bali about 10 years ago, and had planned to visit the John Hardy facility. I was not able to fit this in my trip. Since then I had always regretted not being able to visit. I knew that if I ever returned to Bali again I would make sure that I did not miss out again. I was very excited this morning anticipating my visit. I was not disappointed. Lisa was my tour guide, and was an excellent host. She was very knowledgeable, engaging, and detailed in explaining the various processes in the making of the jewelry.
Great experience, lunch at the long table with the staff was our highlight. Great food and great company. Seeing the way the JH jewelry is created from start to finish was special for someone who appreciates fine jewelry. Highly recommend the visit here!
This is a highlight for jewelry lovers. Shintya gave an absolutely fabulous tour - they are so hospitable, the shopping at the end is just a joy having seen all that goes into the process of making their jewelry.
Incredible experience - first visit workshop and then see designers working the wax to create new designs. The class allowed you to try your hand at design, then carving your art and try to weave a chain. The long table lunch was delicious and offered opportunities to speak with artists and designers.
Appreciate Ms Ketut being so gentle and patient during the workshop tour. The compound is big and love the concept with the architecture
It was great to see how the jewelry is designed and manufactured. Really inspiring! We even bought several jewelries in the shop with excellent support. Thank you the John Hardy team
John Hardy boutique gave us a complimentary workshop tour with one day reservation in advance. The tour is very educational and they showed the factory and workshop of how their jewelry is made. We bought a silver bracelet at the end. The staff is extremely friendly. 10/10 recommend.
Awesome touring at the workshop. The person in charge shows us the complete jewelry making procedure from the beginning to the end. Best workshop trip ever! Super educational, would suggest to reserve in advance.
Great tour of a fascinating facility! All of this is made by hand! The tour itself was very informative. The tour guide was perfect in her explanations.
We had an amazing guide named Cynthia who was so informed and generous with her knowledge and patience. The factory was modern clean and very impressive with the detail and process of manufacturing. The facility as a whole is beautiful and exudes its own sense of future historical importance. We had a lovely tour and shopping experience! Would recommend to anyone.. thank you Cynthia so much!
Visit John Hardy workshop is the highlight of our Bali trip. What I have seen are as beautiful as the pictures on their website, except my feeling is beyond words could describe. The site is a piece of art, the bamboo built showroom is integrated with rice field and creek in a rain forest setting. All the staffs are friendly and helpful, having lunch with them in a beautiful long table is a great memory that I will always remember. Today’s shopping experience is unique and sweet!
Visiting the John Hardy manufacturing center and boutique was a very good experience. It is a beautiful site and our host could not have been more lovely. I like the jewelry and it was interesting to see how it is made. The Boutique is gorgeous, built from bamboo. If you are on the area, it is definitely worth a visit.
Wonderful experience with Shintya- she was patient, professional, friendly and even welcomed me back the next day and gave me a tour of the factory- a life dream for me.
Beautiful boutique in Bali. The production tour really opened my eyes to all that goes into making their elegant jewelry. The staff are wonderful, knowledgeable, and so friendly.
Amazing facility tour and workshop. I’ve been a fan for a long time, but now I have a deeper appreciation after seeing the artisans build each piece by hand. The facility itself is spectacular. Highly recommend the tour.
It's a wonderful experience for me, nice staff Putu, she is very welcoming for the whole time, and thank you for all the member to let me know how to make jewelry and show their way of working and living. Anyone who is interest in real art piece should come visit at least once!
I recently visited the John Hardy workshop tour in Bali, and it was an inspiring experience. Lisa, who guided the tour, was friendly and knowledgeable, making the visit even more enjoyable. The tour gave me a unique behind-the-scenes look at the craftsmanship that goes into each piece of jewelry. I was impressed by the dedication to sustainability and traditional Balinese techniques. The serene atmosphere of the workshop, combined with the opportunity to witness artisans at work, made it a memorable and enriching visit. Highly recommended for anyone interested in art, design, and the beauty of handcrafted jewelry.
We had the chance to visit the workshop accompanied by Putu. It was a wonderful experience and we were amazed to discover every step of the creation process. Thanks for the kind welcome !
Wonderful visit with our host Putu. The manufacture is really impressive and the place is gorgeous. Worth the trip ! Thanks a lot
The production tour was a great way to understand and appreciate the beauty and craftsmanship of the jewelry! Putu explained the process and designs beautifully. We had a great time in the gallery appreciating the jewelry. It was a very personalized and thoroughly enjoyable tour.
Fascinating look into how John Hardy jewelry is designed and crafted from start to finish. The masterclass is very informative and the staff are so nice and helpful. Putu was our guide throughout and was so helpful and patient. Don’t miss the amazing boutique at the end!!
We went for the workshop tour and were invited to the long table lunch. Our guide, Putri, was a wonderful host! However, I was coming from the US so all the people who helped make the arrangements in advance by email and WhatsApp was fantastic! The tour was so informative. You actually get to stand. NExt to the people crafting the jewelry, I have never watched silver being braced by hand-WOW. HIGHLY Recommend trying to make the visit!
Incredible experience! Probably one of the best things to do in Ubud. The staff are very friendly and the different stages of jewelry making are very well explained.
Amazing tour to the foundry and the boutique. It's a great place to immerse into the John Hardy brand experience. They guided me though the making process and the shop!
Putu - our tour guide was absolutely amazing, very hostile and friendly. She gave us a very detailed and clear explanation of the jewellery production process. I do recommend visiting the place!
I loved my visit to the John Hardy workshop and boutique in Ubud. The grounds and buildings are stunning, with traditional huts set in shaded bamboo forest and streams. Hayfa gave us a friendly and informative guided tour through the workshop and explained the jewellery making process. It was fascinating to learn the intricate technique to make the jewellery. We couldn’t believe there are 500 artisans in the workshop, with the finished products being sent to the New York headquarters before being sent to their boutiques and retailers around the world. Some Pieces are sent to Bangkok to have gemstones fitted. It was a fantastic experience and I’ll treasure my beautiful bracelet bought in the boutique after the tour. Thanks so much to Hayfa and all the staff for a truly memorable time.
