Dedek who took care of my husband and me yesterday during an 8-hour tour of Bali deserves our highest praise for his exceptional service. Throughout the entire day, Dedek was incredibly polite, highly professional, and made us feel completely safe with his excellent driving skills. This was a customized tour of east Bali. We have been to Bali 5 times but not sure what we missed. After talking with our guide he had great ideas of things to see that we had never seen before. ( woodcarving, a coffee plantation that we had never been to and the monkey forest and a clean town). We may repeat next year.

We booked 5 days of rides and tours and had a great time. Martin, our driver, was always right where we needed him to be with his clean, air conditioned car. We got rides from the cruise port, to our hotel, from our hotel and to the airport over the course of 6 days. Martin braved the crazy traffic of Ubud and the crazy rain and flooding on the streets with skill and patience. He found us temples, batik factories, monkey sanctuaries, turtle island, a coffee plantation, traditional fire dancing, and lots of Balinese culture. He found us places for lunch every day that was good and also safe. The price was fair and we would absolutely choose them again.

It was very well customised to our own itinerary Driver Martin was jovial and very accommodating Enjoyed our day with him! A good experience.

We've had the chance to arrange the pickup location, starting time and choose our favored locations after some back and forth. Our driver, Widi, was very patient with the traffic and with our needs of bathroom breaks. We've got to know a lot of background information about balinese culture and the sights we were visiting. Highly recommended, especially for the price!

Martin was exceptional as our tour guide. He arrived half an hour early for the start of the trip! The car was spotlessly clean, and the AC control from the backseat was a lifesaver from the heat! Martin was very communicative, spoke excellent English, and was knowledgeable about Balinese culture. He was always promptly ready as we requested! Despite the terrible traffic conditions during one of the busiest times (the traffic was so slow, we even have time to get out of the car, get ice cream and get back to the car… haha), Martin managed to drive us to our destinations as planned (we also enjoy the drive through the local villages, it was scenic and full of cultural attractions). As a local guide to the Ubud area, he certainly knows every road and shortcut. I’m glad that Martin was our tour driver; he gave us a unique and wonderful experience exploring the Bali region. We had a great day with Martin who helped us pick an itinerary around Ubud that suited what we wanted to do and even recommended a spot for us to grab lunch by the rice fields. I booked an Ubud tour with my parents and we had an amazing time with our driver and guide Widi! He is the most professional and polite driver we have had (we’ve already had 3 different guides). He explains all the Balinese culture and history and dresses in traditional gear required for tour guides. This gave us a very good impression of him. Communication was great and we never felt rushed in any location. I would highly recommend this tour and ask for Widi.

We had a great time while visiting Bali. We had a full itinerary for the 7 days we were there and Widi was a great guide. Widi was full of knowledge about the areas we visited and was always looking out for our best interest. Widi and the company were very accommodating to any changes that the group needed. He was very patient with us as we were a larger group of 16. Even on longer bus trips he kept us entertained with music and funny jokes. Widi answered all of our questions and would find out info from the locals if he didn’t have the immediate answer. We took lots of pics with Widi included and he was a great photographer as well. If you are ever planning to tour Bali, Widi is an extremely helpful and patient guide. He shared so much of Indonesian culture with our group and accommodated our requests with flexibility. We could connect our sing-a-long songs to the Bluetooth in the van. :-) He suggested solutions when we needed to adjust our itinerary. We visited a barung performance, monkey forest, rice fields, heaven’s gate temple, Nusa Penida and Nusa Dua. The restaurant suggestions in all locations were delicious. My only suggestion is to add a private boat as an option to the Nusa Penida tour. One tour will then be an adventure experience while the other could be more relaxed. Thank you, Widi! 🙏🏾

Bali was incredible and I’m so happy I got the opportunity to explore it with my friends. The trip was made even more special because we had one of the best tour guides ever!! Widi gave us amazing history and explained some interesting facts about the island. He was super accommodating and took the time to explain the activities for the day in advance, I had a small accident and Widi was the first to come and make sure that I was OK. We had a wonderful day trip with our informative driver, Agung. He was courteous and kind and very helpful. We felt very safe with his driving, in a clean, comfortable and air conditioned car. We went to the Big Garden Centre and then The Monkey Bar @ Bella Kita. Both places were picturesque, with views to die for at The Monkey Bar. Then Agung drove us to Tegenungan waterfall, which we also enjoyed. I highly recommend Agung and his team.

We traveled with Wolo travel from Joburg. We received confirmation from East Bali tours, Gusti days before of our transfer details. The driver reached out and was waiting for us at the airport. Thank you Wolo travel and East Bali tours. We ended up using East Bali tours for most of our day trips. On our first day outing we met Dedek. What a good and friendly driver. And I promise you ... you need nerves of steel in the traffic of Bali. We never had to worry for one moment as his driving skills are really good and so is his english. We would really recommend East Bali tours and request for Dedek.
