Great pricing. When the show started it didn’t look too promising but it quickly picked up with the storytelling and dances. If an 8 and 10 year old boysboys liked it, then you know it won’t disappoint. Would definitely recommend it

Very aesthetically pleasing show. The props and costumes were just beautiful. The aerial show was breathtaking. Dances were artistic and the water and fire section of the show was just great. The artists were so agile and expressive that one did not want the show to end. Costumes were beautiful. Very enjoyable and a must do in Bali

The Devdan Show at Bali Nusa Dua Theatre was a fantastic experience and definitely worth seeing. The production was colourful, energetic and beautifully choreographed, with incredible costumes, music and performances showcasing Indonesian culture. The theatre was excellent and the whole show was very professional and entertaining. It was a great evening and a wonderful way to experience a taste of Indonesia’s rich culture. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Bali.

Excellent performance throughout the show.All major traditional dances of Indonesia were enacted.There is a short story woven through which these dances are performed. A couple danced in the air just hanging from cloth strips hanging from the ceiling which they wound around their wrists. This dance was mesmerizing. A few comedy sequences as breaks with the artists dressed as monkeys was enjoyed by all, specially the kids in the auditorium. The theatre itself was excellent with great airconditiong, comfortable seats, we were sitting at E26 and E27, centre stage and near, I would say the best seats in the auditorium. No mosquitoes anywhere. This is must see experience for Bali.

We enjoyed the Devdan Show at Bali Nusa Dua Theatre and would rate the overall experience about 8/10. We purchased VIP tickets, which included hotel pickup, but our hotel was outside the shuttle pickup zone. That ended up being no problem—we simply took a Grab to the theatre and it was easy and convenient. One thing worth knowing in advance: even if you receive QR-code tickets through TripAdvisor, you still need to stop at the box office to pick up physical tickets before entering. The show itself was colorful, energetic, and visually impressive, and the dancers are clearly very talented. Our VIP seats were in the first row, although the view was slightly obstructed at times, which was a little surprising given the ticket category. The VIP lounge was a nice touch and made the experience feel a bit more special before the show. Overall, it was an enjoyable evening and a good introduction to different elements of Indonesian culture through music, dance, costumes, and performance. 8/10.

This was a great experience. The show was colourful, lively, acrobatic and thoroughly entertaining, with touches of slapstick and humour throughout. I also found it surprisingly educational. After seeing it, I felt I understood much more of what I was noticing around Bali from a cultural point of view. I’d recommend seeing it earlier in your stay rather than later. The price was excellent, and the 75‑minute performance moved at a perfect pace. It never dragged and felt exactly the right length. Given how good the show is, it was surprising that only about a third of the theatre was occupied. It deserves to be sold out every night. We bought “C” tickets, which meant seating on a wing rather than in the central section, but the stage is so large that this didn’t matter at all. The chairs are the same whether you purchase “A”, “B”, or “C” tickets (VIP tickets get a recliner). The main benefit of “A” and “B” tickets is the included transport to and from the theatre; very handy if your accommodation isn’t close by, though ours was.

This unique experience was far more enjoyable than i had expected, filled with surprises and fun that had me in absolute awe of the beautiful balinese culture. Highly skilled dancers, actors and stage crew delivered jaw dropping performances, laughter and tears. Loved every minute! Thank you

We attended theDevdan show in June 2026. We were picked up from our hotel and arrived at the theatre with time to spare. The theatre was in good condition and the staff were friendly. Initially I thought the show was not going to be great as it seemed for want of a better term unprofessional. I was surprised though as once the show got going it was very good. It is a great insight into the culture of Indonesia and Bali in particular. The performers were great and it moved at a good pace. The show went for a little over an hour and I highly recommend.

We very much enjoyed our evening. It was well organised. We were picked up from our hotel at the time slot that we were informed about. The show was fantastic. We had prime seats sitting at the front. We really enjoyed learning more about Indonesia's culture and it was done nicely combined into a story with some jokes along the way as well. The acrobats were amazing, too. It was a very enjoyable evening. Can highly recommend it. And very affordable as well.

Ultra modern and comfortable theatre. Extremely talented performers, particularly the aerialists. Colourful and engaging. Makes for a lovely change of things to do in Bali

Definitely make time to see this show if you’re in the Nusa Dua area. It’s about an hour long but it’s a very high quality show showcasing cultural dances across the different Indonesian islands. They were all so good! The dancers are true professionals and there is also a bit of acrobatics. My husband and I both really enjoyed it. We went during low season and the theatre thoughtfully spaced guests with empty seats between parties, which I thought was nice.

Great show, great way to see different dances from all across Indonesia without having to leave your seat in Bali! Booked here on Tripadvisor for a very reasonable price. Show was well paced and entry was easy. It was not peak season when we were there so there were plenty of seats available. Kids in the crowd seemed to have a pretty good time. Don't be one of those people they have to come talk to about filming or flash, they will let you take pics at the end with the lights on so you can see all the costumes so just wait.

The show was an amazing insight into Indonesian Dance and Culture. It was professionally chorographed, the dancing was amazing and the costumes spectacular. Well worth the cost.

This has to be one of the most unique shows we have seen in Bali. Great theatre, wonderful atmosphere, performers creating a genuine experience of the varied countries they portrayed. Take the kids, they will enjoy it as much as you will do. Do not miss the opportunity to go and enjoy this show.

The Devdan Show, Bali Nusa Dua Theatre was out of sight tonight. We give the dancing, performances, story line, costumes, humor, audience engagement a “10.” There’s a 2-minute video at the end of this post showcasing all the different dances at the end of the performance. The written narration explaining the meaning of each dance made it special. This experience is well worth your time and money. EST dinner beforehand. Indonesia is a fascinating place w over 740 ethnic groups and many different dances. Enjoy!

An excellent show packed with amazing performances, great music & sound effects. A must do in Nusa Dua. Staff are very friendly & place is easy to reach by taxi. Plenty of taxis available after the show if not pre-booked.

A show you must put on top of your "to see" list. Performers were excellent and kept audience enthralled with vibrant standard of dancing.

The transport to and from the venue was efficient and the seats were in a good position. The show for Maha highs and lows but overall was a good experience with very talented dancers

Absolutely recommend this captivating dance going through all the different parts of Indonesian culture. Fantastic value for money and the whole family enjoyed it. Transfers from our hotel to the theatre and back were also included which was very well organised with no waiting.

It was as other reviews mention, truly, a great show. Pace and duration were a suitable 75 mins and the children were well entertained. They didn’t find it scary but were captivated by the acts and laughing at some points. The performers are really skilled, friendly and great at audience engagement. The small audience interaction efforts touched my heart. It was lovely witnessing how a performer led a group of children from the audience in part of their dance act. Other members of the audience who joined in were having a great time too. It was fun with nothing too inappropriate for families with children. The dance troupe is highly skilled and work well together. Beautiful choreography and costumes. Set design and theatre set-up works well. I only wish performers were better appreciated with better audience etiquette. On the whole it was more than I expected, with fire, water, laughter and awe-inspiring acts by gentle, kind, highly-skilled people.

The event is a program of local folk dances linked by a young boy & girl telling a story. There is a comedy element featuring dancers made up in monkey costumes. There are some excellent airial acrobatics from a male and female team

This dance performance was fabulous. It's high energy, including the spectators was fantastic to watch. It was a brilliant performance of so many Indonesian dances from its archipelagos. Highly recommended and through hotel pick-up/ drop off is simple and timely.

Enjoyable show for us and our 3 kids (8, 7 and 4). Mix of traditional dance, acrobatics and modern story with some mild humour. Good information about the multiple different cultures of Indonesia.

The professionalism and skill in this performance is world class.A must see if visiting Bali. We were both surprised and in awesome at just how good this show and theatre were. Audience engagement was a thrill for children that were there. We are so glad that we went. Excellent show with the different cultures of Indonesia being beautifully recreated. Bit unsure of the comical side of the show but it did not detract from the fact that this is an excellent show to visit and great value for money.

We had "A" category seats, which offered a great view, but honestly, B or C would probably be just as good – and much cheaper – as the stage is very well set up for all angles. From the moment it started, we were swept away by the stunning costumes, incredible dancing, breathtaking acrobatics, and rich storytelling. The show is professionally produced, beautifully choreographed, and keeps you engaged from start to finish. What a great show full of powerful music and passionate dancing and acrobatics. We got a real feel for the cultures of Indonesia and our seats were great. Also helped to have English in the show and on the TV screens for understanding. Very good show! Highly recommend 👌

Very good! We’ve been to shows all over the world, including Disney, Vegas Cirque du Soleil, New York Broadway, etc and I will say this show is pretty darn good! It shows individual cultural dances from all over Indonesia and then ends with an Indonesian conclusion.

Great show especially with kids. We booked it last minute to see different ways of dancing and Balinese culture. Show was about 1hour, very entertaining and kids loved it.

One of the best theatre productions I have ever seen. Stirring, emotional, great visuals and music . The cast were enthusiastic , professional and the whole experience was amazing. Highly recommended and worth the money paid for the ticket. LOVED this!

This was an amazing show with fantastic choreography and an interesting storyline depicting Indonesia. It is worth going to see. The venue was excellent and handy for shops and restaurants.

Amazing show you must see if in Bali, good transfers, only fly was the inconsiderate guest who decided not to show up making the transfer late.

This is an experience not to be missed! We were surprised that the hall wasn’t full, but the show itself was absolutely breathtaking. We loved every bit of it—from learning about the people and culture of Indonesia through a thoughtful series of choreographed performances to the engaging interactions with the audience. I even got pulled up to dance with the dancers, which made the experience even more memorable! It’s definitely worth every moment. Just be sure to check their schedule in advance, as the shows aren’t performed every day.

This was a great performance by a talented bunch of performers. A great story line with humour and lots of acrobatic sequences. The theatre was roomy and seating was comfortable for the length of the show. A must do if in the Nusa Dua area. A quick walk from the eastern beachfront after partaking in some food or drinks.

The show was unexpectedly great. I really had no idea what to expect, so we were really caught of guard by this amazing show. The photos or videos if you see something online have nothing to do with the experience itself. Altough it's nothing dramatic, i could not stop a few tears from falling a couple of times, simply because i could not believe the beauty i was seeing. It was very very impresive. Congratulations to the amazing people behind this show, doing all the hard work. You guys deserve all the success in the world.

An absolutely amazing show. Definitely a highlight of our stay in Bali. The idea of mixing Indonesian culture with theatre and circus is inspired. Great dancing, costume, sets, musicality, and Ariel and fire dance circus. Well done to all the cast, crew and front of house staff. 🙏🎪
