Benoa Port Shore Excursion: Private Bali Day Tour

We were asked what we wanted to see and what our interests were while respecting our mobility needs. Guti took us to wonderful places comfortably in our time frame

our guide was excellent, nothing we asked was too much trouble and he knew an answer for every question asked.

What a full big day. D was so accommodating and full of information. We hit all of the highlights plus a jewelry store, batik factory and wood carving operation at our request. His restaurant choice for lunch was delicious. We had a big day and made it back to the cruise ship with 1hour to spare. Ps: traffic is terrible in Bali and he worked the timing perfectly. If I could give it a ten I would.

Our friendly driver Dedek had suggestions of places we should see, but was amenable to taking us places we read about prior to the tour. He drove us around in a comfortable, air conditioned car. We asked to go to temples and to see the rice terraces. Dedek answered all our questions, and suggested a restaurant for lunch that we all enjoyed. Dedek also suggested an evening dance performance and stayed to drive us back to our ship. We met tourists who had paid a lot more money for their tour and didn't get the Bali experience we had. We enjoyed the tour so much that we booked Dedeck for the following day.

The pick up and return to the cruise port is flexible in line with your ship's time in port. You can choose your own individual itinerary to suit your preferences. Our driver Yudi was extremely helpful in planning our trip to ensure we maximised our time to see our chosen sights, rice fields, wannagiri twin lake Lookout, Brahmavihara Temple. He suggested a coffee plantation in the Munduk area which where we enjoyed some coffee/tea tasting. We also visited Banjar Hot Springs. Yudi was very patient with us. His driving in mountainous terrain was very safe and he provided commentary about the area and answered all our questions. He also took some awesome photos as keepsakes of our extremely enjoyable day. Would definitely recommend Yudi and Munduk tours for a North Bali / Cruise Port tour.

Wili was an amazing driver and guide in Bali! He was always punctual, professional, and made us feel comfortable from the start. He shared great local insights and took us to beautiful spots we wouldn’t have found on our own. Highly recommend him to anyone visiting Bali — he truly made our trip unforgettable!

A weird experience— I didn’t even get to partake in this booking. I received a message that I was the only one booked for the day that I chose and the reply I got was that I could either pay an additional $30 fee (never told me what for), move the date (didn’t give me a chance to address this) or get a full refund. When I inquired about the fee and that there’s nowhere in the booking page that outlined a fee like that, they just cancelled by booking and refunded me (which I’ll get in 5 days). Overall, I’d advise to make sure you message them for clarity.

I want to shout out to Widi who helped us have the most amazing time on this tour today! We went to Monkey Forest, Ubud Art Market, Tegalalang Rice Terrace, and Tirta Empul. Widi was very informative and knowledgable about every single aspect of each of the locations, and was always willing to answer all our questions - even the silliest ones. He even accommodated our requests that wasn’t part of the itinerary, like stopping at a convenience store and getting us items we had trouble finding. If we didn’t have Widi being our guide today, we probably wouldn’t have had as much fun exploring Ubud as we did today. We had such a fun time, and would highly recommend this to everyone coming to Bali to immerse themselves in Balinese culture and heritage. All the more, you should have Widi as your guide to learn a lot about Bali as he is a bank of knowledge, as well as being the one of the best guides in Bali!

We really enjoyed the tour. The rice terrace and waterfall was my favourite part. The photographer at the kanto lampo was great . Our guide Adi was also very friendly and helpful. Thank you 🙏

Our guide, Widi, made this such a phenomenal day for us!! My mom has limited mobility and Widi made sure we were able to tailor the tour to fit her abilities and our interests and we had such a wonderful time. Widi was super knowledgeable and patient, a safe driver, had great communication, and was very caring. We would recommend him and this tour any day. Thank you for a wonderful day around Ubud!

Agung arrived promptly at our pickup location, maintaining great communication via WhatsApp. Within minutes, we were off to our first destination. After a decent hike, he picked us up with water and a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle. He was very knowledgeable about the area and navigated the hectic Ubud traffic with care. Additionally, he took numerous pictures for us, always finding the perfect angle on all our excursions.

It was excellent. It was just me and Driver was very polite and very safe to drive with I didn’t want to go some of the booked places, so I told him to skip it

Terrific array of different places.batik place was so good and the waterfall is just superb. All the temples are such peaceful places. Rice terraces so interesting and the markets great fun. Informative guide. Well worth it in every way

Citra is amazing. She was very helpful and kind. She came in early for our pick up and even stayed with us until we finished our tour at the temple which took much longer than expected.

My driver, Agung, was strictly on time. The car was comfortable and spacious. The tour was customizable and I enjoyed every minute of it. My family was in Ubud for 5 days. We used East Bali tour for a private driver all 5 days. There were 8 of us and the tour was able to accommodate all 8 plus our luggage. Our driver, Agung, was great. He made very good recommendations regarding things ro do and restaurants. My 2 young kids really liked him. He was courteous and was always on time, if not early. I highly recommend Agung. I also booked a rafting trip with the tour. We had a great time on the rafting trip. Overall, great experience with East Bali tour and Agung. I will be booking with them again on our next trip to Bali.

Agung is elite. Very professional and hands down the best driver I have ever seen. He can easily navigate the chaotic streets of Bali. Had no problem maneuvering the huge Toyota Hiace around the narrowest streets. He took us to all the best spots and was very helpful in getting us safely to our villa. We wouldn’t have been able to without him. Great personality, very nice, and punctual. Hope to see him again soon.

Our driver Agung was absolutely amazing and so very patient. He tried to make sure we had a good time and we did! Thank you Agung! The tour requires a lot of time, recommend to start tour very early if you want to take pictures at Lempuyang temple.

5 star experience with Agung in Kuta. Started our trip with a beautiful visit to the Malasti beach. Then proceeded to the Uluwatu temple with beautiful views. Then Agung took us to a gem of a beach called Balangan beach. Don't forget to bring your goggles and swim with the fish. Finally, we were taken to a sunset dinner where Agung made a reservation for us and we enjoyed lobster and crab with the beautiful views. Overall, Agung was an awesome travel guide, and thoroughly enjoyed our day with him.

Agung was an absolute delight to have as a guide and a driver. He arrived early to fetch us from our hotel, had the aircon on and stopped to get us ice cold water before our trip started. He was easy to talk to and took us to THE BEST spots. To top it all off, he asked us what we'd like for dinner and booked us an amazing spot on the beach so we could have seafood watching the sunset. Honestly an amazing day with Agung, so lucky to have found him. I highly recommend him. Also to mention he is good at taking photos too.

Gusti is a very punctual & professional driver. I travelled seperate to my wife and daughter and he collected them at the airport with sign in hand. He then came came back for me at a later time of night. He was always on hand to offer us advice to some of Bali's tourist spots and available to drive us at a days notice. Would have no hesitation to recommend

I had a cancellation from my driver and the last minute I could contact Gusti, he saved my day, he is a great tour guide and helped me all the time and making me feel safe. I highly recommend him if you need a driver or/and a tour guide don't hesitate to contact him

We had a couple of amazing days thanks to our guide/driver Gusti. He was very easy to talk to, he radiated a great calm and was pleasant in his way of being. He took care of us all day and he had a lot of knowledge of the area/culture/religion/buildings/ places and he answerd all questions we had. It was very important to him that we got a good couple of days and he did everything in his power to accommodate us in our needs. At first we had one pree-booked tour and were lucky to get Gusti and after that, well he was the best guide we had so we booked one more tour with him where he got to plan the day and we were so pleased. I can honestly say that if and when we go back to Bali Gusti is the guy i will contact if i need a guide/driver.

We had a fantastic day out and experience with Gusti, our guide for the day. His knowledge and guidance made sure that our entire day was fulfilled completely, evening opting for lunch at a nearby spot which was absolutely delicious which also had amazing views. His knowledge of the local areas and even other further away parts was extremely interesting and it was easy to listen to him. We are looking forward to the our next Bali trip where we will definately be asking Gusti for another tour.

Everything was amazing. We made our own tour, we visited the Lempuyang temple, Tirta gangga and Pura Besakih temple and it was amazing. We also made stop at Keramas beach and then Gusti dropped us near our hotel in Legian. He was very kind and generous, he also took pictures of us and always answered all our questions. Definitely recommend this tour!

I met Gusti Ngurah Tu and he introduced us to the island of Bali, a kind person, excellent driver, very reliable and with fair prices. I recommend everyone to go hiking with him because besides being very good he is prepared for everything you will see! I highly recommend it and hope to return and go on other excursions with him.

Martin was our driver, he catered entirely to our wishes and had great recommendations for us. We were able to choose our own route, with which he supported us. It was a mega beautiful and unforgettable day that we would repeat immediately.
