Beji Griya Waterfall Bali Spritual Holy Bath Experience

The experience was amazing. However, have someone dedicated to taking the photos; the guide does not do a good job of capturing the moments.

Very good experience. He was on time, extremely friendly, and helpful/informative. Everything was taken care of for me at admission. I felt very comfortable with him as a solo traveler.

I felt it was a bit touristy during the waterfall and purification . The guide was great and takes videos and photos of you . I don’t like that they try to hard sell you products while still going round . The healing part was at a diffrent area and more relaxed .

It is an absolutely must do for everyone and worth your while and every penny. Gusti was my super kind and informative guide for the day who also went out of his way to help me experience the coffee plantations even when he wasn't obliged to. Definitely coming back again.

I do not recommend visiting this place. We had a horrible experience there. It's a very beautiful place, but we believe it lost its spiritual essence and has become a commercial place. We went there hoping to participate in a typical Paline spiritual ritual, but we had a terrible experience. One person guides you through everything. Unfortunately, the guide assigned to us from the beginning He wanted to do everything quickly and finish the ritual quickly in a rude and unspiritual way. It seemed like he didn't like what he was doing and didn't want to do it. We need to have a bad experience. 25 minutes after starting the ritual we decided to stop it because we felt we weren't doing it in the best way and we were feeling horribly. There were other people around us with other guides who were enjoying it and doing so in a harmonious, delicate, and beautiful way. Making us feel that it really was the right place to live this experience, our guide was constantly pressuring us. And reminding us every 5 minutes that we only had 45 minutes to finish the ritual, we asked him for a couple of photos and videos . And both times he took photos and videos of us, he told us we only had 45 minutes. It was truly an experience I wouldn't recommend anyone do there. This is one of those places that might go viral on Instagram and where many people want to go, but it has really lost the true essence of a Balinese ritual; it has become commercialized. And it seemed like the guide wanted to finish quickly to move on to the next client and have many more customers. When we decided not to continue with the ritual, we went to reception to explain our experience. They told us they didn't care, that we weren't going to get our money back, and that the place wasn't for taking photos or videos, but rather for offering a spiritual experience. We replied that tourists usually want to take photos and videos of these experiences, and that everyone there was taking photos. However, on this particular day, he was rude and lacked empathy for the situation; it really wasn't his job. If you're thinking of experiencing melukat a Balinese ritual, think twice before going to this place. Consider it your last resort; there are many better places to do it in Bali.

The purification ritual was something truly special. It is a sacret site for the locals and felt like an absolute honour to be apart of it! The energy at the waterfall is truly something else. We had a guide with us who walked us through each step explaining the different gods and goddess. It was an incredible experience that made us feel like we were apart of a real Balinese tradition. Special shout out to our driver Gusti, who picked us up from our accommodation & dropped us back afterwards. He was an absolute legend, super helpful and sharing so much information about the ritual and surrounding area, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you Gus for looking after us!

Gusti was absolutely incredible. He Was very responsive from the beginning. We went to the purification ritual. On our way there, he shared so much of the culture with us and told us what to expect. The communication was easy and fast and the driver, organized by Gusti, picked us up at the location and was super nice. At the location we had a guide called Leo, who explained everything to us perfectly. Overall it was a wholesome and perfect adventure and we would recommend this booking to everybody. Very nice experience! We arrived at opening so we were the first to enter and were alone for the first half hour. This made the experience extra nice! Our guide, Diah, was super, gave a lot of explanation and really took her time to let us experience the ultimate ceremony. We found it a very nice and beautiful experience. Our driver, Gusti, was also great! Highly recommended but definitely go on time.
