Goa Gajah temple, also known as Elephant Cave Temple is an ancient omission in the form of a cave with the high value of art and history. In this place, we will find other ancient omissions like ancient stone idol, douche, temple and others. It owns beautiful relief with a form of face turning around to the left side.
This is one of the most popular and beautiful village temple which is part of three major temples in a village that is called Tri Kahyangan, and designed with Balinese architecture with split gates, stone guardians, thatched shrines, and detailed carvings.

A terrific experience with a terrific guide. Wayan was kind, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout, not to mention now good flexible he was with sudden changes to our group size. The sites and shows were amazing, and it was nice to be able appreciate the deeper cultural significance of everything with Wayan’s guidance.
Excellent driver!!! We have visited Bali 5 times and had many great drivers, Wayun was the best by far, I was able to amend my trip to suit our preference and we are so glad we chose Wayan. His knowledge and information about each area on our trip was immense, he put us first, such a lovely guide who provided us so much information and care. The dance is entertaining uses detailed colorful costuming to share a cultural story. The meal is very good and features traditional Indonesian/Balinese food items prepared nicely and served by locals who prepared it. The Hindu temple is interesting and offers insight into the religion and beliefs. Indonesia is fascinating in that it has predominantly Muslim areas, Hindu areas, Buddhist areas and Christian areas, yet the various groups seem to get along well and exhibit great tolerance for differences and beliefs. That was refreshing to experience.
Our day with Nyoman was fantastic! He met us at our resort right on time and walked us through the day. We had scheduled a day in Ubud going to see a Barong Dance, visiting the Tegenungan Waterfall, the Batuan Temple, Goa Gajah and Celuk Village. He stayed with us throughout the day answering our questions, cracking jokes, explaining different areas, customs, and traditions, and making sure we got to see everything we wanted to see. The lunch was great (I recommend the bebek goreng). I couldn’t recommend a trip with Nyoman enough and we will absolutely be booking other trips with him when we come back to Bali!

We had a wonderful day on this trip! Our guide, Gusti, was prompt, friendly and keen for us to enjoy the day as much as possible. He had very good English which allowed him to explain a lot about the traditions and practices of Balinese life in a way that helped us understand clearly. He also gave us choices about which stops we were interested in so we could skip things we were less bothered about if we wanted. Every stop on the day was a taste of an aspect of Balinese heritage, but particular highlights were the dance show, which was fascinating, had some great humour and absolutely amazing music, and the tour of the temple, where Gusti explained the purpose of the different buildings and the way the ceremonies worked with so much passion and care that being in the temple felt like a real privilege. Lunch was served in a lovely restaurant next to a rice field and was very tasty with big portions. Thank you Gusti, for an excellent trip. We couldn't have enjoyed the day more if we tried! We had a great time!
A great day visiting some highlights of our local area. Our guide, Wayan, was extremely knowledgeable, very friendly and when we told him we had already visited one of the temples on a different tour very kindly replaced the temple with an alternative. A very enjoyable day!

This was a very nice introduction to Balinese culture. The dance was similar to interpretive dance, and lunch was at a lovely restaurant overlooking rice fields. The temples were interesting and beautiful. Our tour guide also took us to a coffee plantation, where we got to sample multiple delicious teas and coffees. He was also very knowledgeable about all of the places we went and his culture, and was very friendly. The waterfall was pretty, just be warned that there are a lot of stairs to get down to it.
We had a really enjoyable day with a great mixture of experiences, wayan was a brilliant tour guide could not of been any nicer, very informative about the local area and traditions and allowed us to travel at our own pace
What a lovely, lovely day was had by all. Wayan was such a happy friendly man, he took us here and took us there, everything was at our pace, he was informative about the local customs, religion and etiquette. We shared stories and all 6 of us couldn't have been happier with our day out sight seeing. Thank you again Wayan and we hope you arrived home safely.
We saw a traditional Dance between good and evil. Actors/dancers were amazing. Costumes brilliant. We all Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Wayan was an amazing and best tour guide I've ever had. He was very kind, patient, professional and accommodating to my friends and I. Very gentleman like when holding our belongings and helped guide us safely through harsh terrain such as the waterfall. He was attentive to our needs such as knowing when to take us to get lunch when we showed signs of hunger. Wayan was very knowledgeable on history of Bali which helped me gain a deeper sense of the culture. He was a fabulous photographer since he was able to master capturing memories on my phone that will last a lifetime. I highly recommend using him as a tour guide. I would rate him a 1,000 out of 10!!!!!!
Wayan from Bali Charm was amazing and definitely would recommend doing a tour with him. He is not only full of amazing information he is also firstly a brilliant driver so we felt super safe on the Bali roads with him. He was very personable and also accommodating as we wanted to slightly alter the itinerary given as we had done one of the stops previously on another tour and he did so for us with no drama. We were most impressed with the tour and the exemplary service and Wayan definitely went the extra mile to accomodate our wishes. I would highly recommend doing a tour with Bali Charm to see the sights.

My family and I were very happy with this tour and especially with Wayan. From the pickup at our hotel to the visits to the traditional dance, temple, waterfall, and finally drop off at the end of the day, everything was organized very well. Lunch was also excellent. Throughout the day, Wayan shared his knowledge and insight of local and national culture and history with us. At different locations, he also made excellent recommendations for photos. With Wayan, you get an excellent tour guide who is extremely knowledgeable, passionate, and a great communicator. The next time I visit Bali, I will be sure to secure another tour with Wayan—I can’t recommend him enough!

This tour is highly recommended, what's stood up most for us is our excellent tour guide/driver Jose ( WayanWijana) who went above and beyond to make us comfortable and happy. He's very compassionate with what he does and very knowledgeable, explains each site we went and caters to every questions we had. Very good communicator, very respectful. He is an asset to his company and a pride for Balinese people.
