We would highly recommend this experience! Juli was an especially amazing driver. He was very knowledgeable and made great conversation. He even added a special stop to a local coffee plantation as soon as he heard that we love coffee! We would recommend this trip and Juli to anyone looking to discover Bali and Ubud from a local!

Wayan was a outstanding tour guide: warm, respectful around the monkeys, and make sure properly organized. The timing at Tegalalang avoided rush-hour crowds, and the smooth transfer to Tegenungan Waterfall let us enjoy the whole afternoon. Highly recommended!

What an incredible day tour with the best guide Wayan! He was very engaging and knowledgeable- a great guide and teacher on balinese culture. We went to two temples, a coffee plantation and the rice terraces- particularly loved the melukat ritual (bring a towel and change of clothes!) Highlight of my bali trip!

Artha was our driver and he took care of everything we needed while in Bali to make it a perfect trip. He was very knowledgable of the history of Bali, drove us safely to all destinations, helped us get into each place we visited, assisted us with picking out traditional clothing for a wedding and even assisted the wedding party with suiting up in their traditional attire. This is a great shore excursion for cruise passengers. We were picked up by Putu for our private tour directly at the cruise terminal. Putu was attentive and knowledgeable and we had a great day. Visited the Monkey Sanctuary Temples, the terraced rice fields, had lunch overlooking a beautiful waterfall and finally visited a stunning temple before returning to the ship in plenty of time.

Putu our driver/guide met us at the cruise terminal. Having messaged via WhatsApp in advance it was easy to find him. The car was modern, comfortable and well air conditioned. Our itinerary was set out and we made a few adjustments as we needed to be back at the cruise terminal by 4.30 and were concerned about traffic. We visited the Monkey Sanctury which was interesting and then the beautiful rice terraces. We then had lunch in a beautiful restaurant overlooking the Tegenungan Falls. Our final stop was a beautiful temple. Putu was an excellent driver and a friendly, informative and professional guide. I can thoroughly recommend this tour and, of course, Putu for any cruise passenger stopping in Benoa Port.

We spent a lovely day with Wayan, seeing wonderful sights and learning so much about about Bali. Wayan was extremely knowledgeable, kind and considerate. His vehicle was new, comfortable and the air conditioning was oh so nice. He was flexible to our wishes and modified the tour to our desires. I cannot imagine a better tour than what Wayan provided us.

Great day spent with Wayan. He showed us so many interesting things and talked a lot about the local culture. He was always so kind in dropping us off at a site and then parking his lovely car. Highly recommend spending the day with Wayan and this interesting tour.

We only chose to take this tour as the shore excursions on our Celebrity cruise which looked interesting were all fully booked. We were lucky. It was an excellent tour which we thoroughly enjoyed and much better than the excursions organised by the cruise line, based on feed back from fellow cruise passengers. The itinerary is great and we enjoyed all the spots particularly the monkey park and waterfall. Our guide Made is friendly and knowledgeable and brought us to spots where we could take great pictures. He is also a great photographer. Possibly the only downside is the traffic jam along the way which was probably inevitable due to the large number of visitors from the cruise ship. But there were never any dull moments with Made entertaining us with information on Bali and its people’s way of life and his personal anecdotes. Thanks Made, for a day very well spent!!

We had the absolute best day with Juli! He was so kind and knowledgeable and showed us many beautiful places in Bali. We loved seeing the rice paddies and the temples. At our request, Juli took us to lunch at a local spot and we enjoyed traditional Balinese food. This tour was everything we hoped for and more and made our day in Bali one of our favorite days of our whole trip. We had a full 8 hours but still only scratched the surface of Bali so after our tour we definitely want to come back and spend more time here. This tour is amazing for cruise guests. Juli was there when we got off the ship and made sure to have us back in time with no stress.

What a day! Wayan was a a fantastic driver and so knowledgeable about everything Bali & Ubud. A clean well presented car he was engaging and was a pleasure to spend the day with learning and being shown all the best local sights around Ubud. Pick up was prompt and he was a guide when he needed to be and let us explore on our own as well. A fantastic day and a great & memorable day!

This was a great tour to see several famous points around Ubud :) Our driver MJ was very friendly and had great knowledge about the area and places we went. We were able to stay in places as long or as short as we wanted, and MJ also stopped by the supermarket and ATM. Would recommened MJ and this tour to anyone who wanted to see the highlights of Ubud and have a fun day out!

Putu was a wonderful guide! We saw everything promised, and more. He was knowledgeable and flexible, fitting the day to our needs. One of the best days we've had yet!

Our tour guide, Putu, took us to all the amazing sites around Ubud. We told him we wanted to visit all the major sites in town, since we were just in(off a cruise ship)for just one day. He did it! He knew the answers to our questions, he knew how to handle the crazy traffic, and he sat and joined us for lunch! He was very enthusiastic and happy to share his country with us! Suksma, Putu!

Anyone looking for a cruise ship excursion should seriously book this tour! Private actually means just YOUR group (no 'last minute' add on folks from other groups) and 'all inclusive' was truly ALL inclusive. Mat was our tour guide and everything was amazing. Mat was at the port holding a sign with our name. We had a group of 9 ... and the van was clean, comfortable and airconditioned. The itinerary was busy (which is what we wanted) but we had plenty of time to explore and enjoy every stop. I will say that Mat made the tour special. While you can't pick your tour guide, it does make a difference. He educated and informed us about key things but was also quiet when he knew we wanted to 'experience' the beauty. Everything about our day was perfect, the sites, the lunch ... and getting back to the ship with plenty of time to spare! Thank you!

We had a large group of 40. We asked for 4 separate vans and we all had a fantastic trip. Each driver was well versed in Bali culture and areas. The All-inclusive package provided an excellent lunch. Rice terraces were amazing as the waterfalls and temples. Bali traffic slowed us down. A bit , however we had a great trip from our cruise ship. Highly recommend. 10stars

Juli was a very friendly, kind and relaxed guide. He was on time and told us a lot about the culture, religion and side seeing activities. By the way, he is also a good photographer. He drives safely and during the trip he explained everything well. He was also very patient. A good tip if you want to see Ubud in a short time. Keep up the good work Juli! 😃

Driver arrived on time! Very knowledgeable about the difference places. Took us to coffee plantation, Monkey Forest (over 1000 of monkey), Happy Swings Bali is a must 7 different photos opt, outfit for two including in price. This is a MUST only with - Happy Swings Bali! These guys are simply amazing: professional, and fun! Our pictures are simply amazing!!! Much better than the one by Rice Terrace had to pay extra for 1 outfit and photos! Rip off! Shame on you! We went to the healing and blessing temple and Water falls! Would been nice if we could stop for shopping in Ubud! But driver wouldn’t stop oh well found a driver that would take us!

Wow - what can I say? This was a day that made our jaws drop and really opened our eyes to what Bali is like outside of the beach resort setting. Juli was a fantastic host for the day ( so nice for an ‘English speaking guide’ to actually be able to hold a wide and varied conversation with you in such good English). After collecting us from our hotel we went to a coffee plantation that produced the famous (and expensive) Luwak - cat poo coffee made from foraged coffee beans that had been eaten and partly digested by forest dwelling civet wild cats. More expensive than gold!!! We had extensive tour and tasting of coffees and teas and just had to buy some to take home. Then we went on to the Monkey Forest at Ubud where not only did we get to see a lot of monkeys, but Juli also gave us a n in depth explanation about how religion and village/community life were linked and how Balinese society is set up. This was re-enforced several times during the day as we went through our journey. We then went to the rice terraces for lunch and jaw dropping views across the rice terraces. Lunch was really tasty and we chose authentic Balinese dishes although there was a wide choice available. At the rice terraces themselves - there are a number of opportunities (swings over long drops and zip wires across the valley) to lose your lunch - but we resisted! We then travelled to the Holy Spirit water spring temple, which was really special. Juli again provided more in depth informing about how the temples and the community and linked and how the religion is fundamental in almost everything in Balinese traditional life. Last stop was at some really impressive waterfalls and this was easily the most ‘commercialised’ area of the day - but hey, nothing wrong with that. We then returned to our hotel after a full 10 hours out. We were shattered so can only imagine how Juli must have felt as he had a 90 minute drive home. All day, Juli was amazing, humorous, helpful and understanding of our requests. We really felt the day was about us and what we wanted to achieve. There was no clock - we finish when we finish. Really guest focussed. Everything was included in the cost except gratuities. So pick up, transport, entrance fees, lunch (off an a la carte menu!) was covered. Needless to say, we were more than happy to give Juli gratuities and he made it the best day we could have hoped for! It’s very difficult to see what we saw in one day without someone like Juli’s help and would recommend him and his company 1000%

The trip with Juli was the highlight of our visit to Bali. As a tour guide he was incredibly knowledgeable about the site visits and Balinese culture. His restaurant selection for lunch was local and superb. We will use Juli again for our tours in Bali. Highly recommended!!!

Wow! What a wonderful day! This tour with Putu enabled us to see so much of Bali in one day. We came to Bali by cruise ship. Putu met us at the Port and showed us the art of making Batik, wood carving, the Monkey Forrest, rice paddies, the coffee from civet droppings, the Pura Tirka Empul ( cleansing temple) and the fabulous waterfall and valley (tenganungan waterfall). Fees to enter these attractions were not included, but the charges are minimal. Be sure to bring cash. You will need it to enter the temple, monkey forrest, waterfall and rice fields, but the amount needed is less than 250,000 riupiah (about $20 US) each. We bought Batik items and a delicious lunch. Those businesses took credit cards.

We had a fantastic tour with our driver Juli. The tour covered several main highlights of Ubud and we were also taken to a coffee plantation which was very interesting and definitely worth a visit. Juli was delightful to spend the day with, is very knowledgable and has impeccable English. Moreover he was very flexible and considerate when we needed to change our itinerary on the day. This was our first time in Bali and we will definitely be contacting Juli on our next trip and would recommend him to all family and friends.

Putu gave us an amazing day exploring Bali. We saw so much! I was able to purchase a batik shirt for my husband and a jacket and handbag for myself. There was a very interesting batik demonstration with plenty of time to shop afterwards. We also stopped at a woodcarving enterprise. We saw the men carving and then got to explore their remarkable creations. We also walked through the monkey jungle. The monkey jungle is a must when visiting Balu! Putu took such great care of us. He dropped us off near the attractions and picked us up, keeping our walking to a minimum. We had a delicious lunch near the rice fields. We also saw the "cleansing temple", which was amazing! Our last stop was an overlook of a beautiful waterfall! Breathtaking! You will not regret booking this comprehensive tour of Bali!

The tour was great and hit all of the fantastic sites in Ubud not to mention some fantastic food at Boni Bali! We really enjoyed the water temple (Tirta). The rice fields were beautiful and the swing was a great addition. The monkey forest was fun. Our guide, Juli, was fantastic. Full of great information and even made an extra stop for us at a silver shop. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bali and wanting to hit all the great attractions in Ubud.

How fortunate we were that the tour we THOUGHT we had signed up for from our cruise shop WASN'T booked. My wife went online and found Juli -- and for this Day 2 (and last) in Bali we got to go with him wherever we wanted -- with his expert guidance. We managed a morning visit to a coffee plantation and the monkey temple, a delicious local lunch in gorgeous surroundings, viewing rice terraces and then waterfall -- and back to the ship -- for an excellent price. He was a cheerful and kind guide and good safe driver. An easy and perfect day in paradise.

We made the Tour „Best of Ubud“. Our Guide was Wayan.. Our Guide was exzellent. Our ship was late, but Wayan was flexible and made everything. The tour was great - the best. We got lots of Information about Culture and history as well as religion. The lunch was wonderful at a Great Place. We recommend Best of Ubud with Wayan.

Juli was great! He was super flexible with the activities because to be honest i was extremely tired 😅 so we did a bit of an accelerated itinerary. It was nice to be able to do everything without it taking all day.

The healing water at Tirta Empul temple was amazing and spiritual… Made provided information and historical guidance. Our guide was excellent and the tour was well worth it.

There are no words to describe how amazing this trip was! We had the best first day in Bali with our Driver Ketut Ajus. He made sure we had a chill and funday, according to our preferences. Dear future clients using this service, I never ever though that a driver in Bali could be such a game changer. Our trip literally from day 1 after leaving the Airport was perfect. We were picked up, we were taken care of through out the trip, we were entertained. Juli (Wajan) our driver was always like a personal assistant, a local guide in many ways. He never interfered with our privacy but also always shared stories of value when we asked. It made the whole two week trip a completely different experience and allowed a deeper connection to what is really going on in Bali, what the people are, what the culture and traditions are in reality not on the internet. And by the way we used this tourism company and their services on 4 occasions during our stay not just the Ubud tour. Last, but not least the biggest most valuable trait was flexibility. Our driver was always ready to meet our needs and ideas. There was no fixed unchangeable plan. We could interact, we could have a perfect time how we wanted with the help of a professional and very client oriented trip assistant.
