Day 1
1
Uluwatu Temple sits on a high cliff overlooking the ocean, offering stunning sea views and one of Bali’s best sunsets. You can enjoy scenic walking paths, traditional temple architecture, and watch the famous Kecak Dance at sunset. Watch out for monkeys and keep your belongings secure.
At the Kecak Dance at Uluwatu Temple, you’ll see a circle of performers chanting rhythmically while acting out a story from the Ramayana, set against a dramatic ocean sunset. Fire effects, traditional costumes, and the glowing sky make it a unique cultural and visual experience.
Day 2
2
This is one of Bali’s most scenic temples, set right on the shores of Lake Beratan in the cool highlands of Bedugul. The highlight is the multi-tiered pagoda (meru towers) that appear to float on the lake when the water level is high. You’ll see: Calm lake views often covered in light mist, giving a peaceful, almost magical atmosphere Traditional Balinese temple architecture with intricate carvings and shrines Mountain scenery surrounding the lake, making it much cooler than coastal areas Beautiful gardens and photo spots around the temple complex It’s a great place to walk slowly, take photos, and enjoy the quiet natural setting.
Jatiluwih Rice Terraces is one of the most impressive landscapes in Bali, known for its vast, layered rice fields that stretch across the hills. It’s less crowded than other terraces and feels more natural and authentic. What to see at Jatiluwih Rice Terraces 1. Endless Green Terraces The main highlight is the wide panorama of rice paddies arranged in flowing layers. Unlike smaller terraces, Jatiluwih covers a huge area, so the views feel open and expansive rather than compact. 2. UNESCO Cultural Landscape This area is recognized for the traditional subak irrigation system, a centuries-old Balinese farming method. You can see how water flows through channels that connect each level of the fields. 3. Scenic Walking Trails There are several walking paths where you can get closer to the खेत (rice fields). As you walk, you’ll pass farmers working, small wooden huts, and quiet rural scenery.
Tanah Lot Temple is one of Bali’s most famous and scenic temples, set on a large rock formation just off the coast. It’s especially known for its dramatic ocean setting and spiritual atmosphere. What to see at Tanah Lot Temple 1. Temple on the Sea Rock The main highlight is the temple itself, standing on a rock surrounded by waves. During high tide, it looks like it’s floating in the ocean, while at low tide you can walk closer to the base. 2. Beautiful Sunset Views Tanah Lot is one of the best sunset spots in Bali. The view of the sun going down behind the temple creates a stunning silhouette, perfect for photos. 3. Coastal Walkways & Viewpoints There are several paths along the cliffs where you can explore and see the temple from different angles, each offering unique photo spots. 4. Holy Spring at the Base At low tide, you can visit a small sacred spring at the base of the rock where locals give blessings.
Day 3
3
During snorkeling at Blue Lagoon Beach and Tanjung Jepun, you mainly explore calm, clear waters filled with marine life. What you do there: 1. Swim in calm, clear water You float on the surface using a mask and snorkel, enjoying easy swimming conditions (very beginner-friendly). 2. See colorful coral reefs Both spots have coral gardens where you can see different shapes and colors underwater. 3. Watch tropical fish up close Expect schools of small fish, clownfish, parrotfish, and sometimes larger reef fish swimming around you. 4. Relax and drift with the water You don’t need to dive deep—just float and let the current gently move you between reef areas. 5. Take short boat rides between spots Usually you go by small boat from Padang Bai and switch between Blue Lagoon and Tanjung Jepun for different underwater views.
At Padang Bai, enjoying the beach means relaxing in a calm, small coastal bay with clear blue water and a laid-back local atmosphere. You can: Swim in the gentle, sheltered sea Relax on the sand and enjoy the quiet vibe Watch fishing boats and local daily life Take in the views of the surrounding hills and ocean Rest after snorkeling trips or boat rides It’s a simple, peaceful beach experience away from the busy tourist crowds.
Day 4
4
Shopping at Krisna Oleh Oleh Bali is all about buying local souvenirs in one place before you leave Bali. You can find: Bali snacks and traditional foods (chips, coffee, sweets) Souvenirs like keychains, magnets, and T-shirts Handicrafts, fabrics, and Balinese gifts Fixed-price items, so no need to bargain It’s a convenient stop to get gifts for family and friends at good prices.

What sets this apart from others we considered is the snorkeling day. Most multi-day tours skip the east coast entirely. Blue Lagoon and Tanjung Jepun were absolutely worth it. Clear water and incredible marine life without crowds.
Meals throughout were genuinely good. Local food at proper restaurants, not tourist traps. Guide picked places based on what we liked. Day two lunch overlooking the rice terraces was a meal that will stick with me.
rice terraces at jatiluwih were honestly breathtaking. the scale of it. walking through with the guide explaining the ancient irrigation system was really interesting
Group of four friends and the private setup meant we could take our time where we liked and move on from ones that didn't interest us as much. Snorkeling and Uluwatu sunset were our favorites!
Compared this with several others and booked because of the four day format and snorkeling inclusion. Did not regret it. Itinerary well balanced between cultural sites and natural experiences.
Accommodation was clean with everything needed. Nothing fancy but perfectly adequate for the price. Breakfast had local and western options. Guide picked good lunch and dinner spots each day too.
Traveled with my wife and her parents. Tour accommodated different energy levels well. When we snorkeled, they relaxed on the beach. Guide checked on everyone and made sure nobody felt left out.
booked for our anniversary trip. the whole experience felt special. uluwatu sunset, snorkeling in crystal clear water, peaceful rice terraces. couldn't have asked for better.
Very well organized from the moment of hotel pickup. Driver was safe, vehicle air conditioned and comfortable. Over four days we covered south, central, and east Bali. Good mix of sightseeing and downtime.
Four days, four very different experiences. Culture at Uluwatu, nature in the highlands, ocean in Padang Bai, retail therapy at Krisna before heading out. Good balance.
booked last minute and was pleasantly surprised. everything ran smooth. uluwatu on day 1 was beautiful and watching kecak as the sun went down was something else
Group of six and this tour handled us perfectly. Driver patient, guide knowledgeable, every attraction worth visiting. Meals were decent local food which we appreciated. Tanah Lot at sunset was magical.
Said goodbye to our guide on day four feeling genuinely grateful. Over four days he showed us why Bali is special, not just the famous spots but the small moments in between.
Four days well spent. Temples, nature, snorkeling, beach time, shopping. All with a great guide and comfortable transport. One of those trips where everything just works.
clean vehicle every morning, cold water bottles, guide who remembered our preferences from previous day. little things add up and make the difference between good and great
A wonderful holiday thanks to TripAdvisor's excellent service. We will use their services again for our next trip to Bali.
