Uluwatu Temple is one of the best tourist destination to visit during the sunset time and this place is very crowded by tourist everyday. Balinese called this temple is Pura Luhur Uluwatu is one of six key temples believed to be Bali spiritual pillars. Is renowned for its magnificent location, perched on top of a steep cliff approximately 70 meters above sea level. Not known exactly where Kecak and Fire Dance originated, which was first developed but there are some kind of agreement on the Balinese Kecak was first developed into a performing arts in the village of Bona, Gianyar, as additional knowledge Kecak was originally a song or music that is resultant from a combination sounds that make up melodies that are usually used to accompany the sacred dance Sanghyang and can only be staged in the temple. Then in the early 1930s by artists from the village of Bona, Gianyar trying to develop a Kecak dance by taking the story of Ramayana who danced as a substitute for Sanghyang Dance so this dance could eventually be displayed in public as a performance art. Part of the Ramayana story in which the first is taken as Goddess Sita was abducted by King Rahvana.

Decided last minute to do the Kecak fire dance and Ulawatu temple dinner tour. Nengah picked us up on time took us on an interesting trip to the temple. Guided us around and we finished the day with seafood on the beach. A good day out with a great finish. All good.

Our driver, Ketut Putra was so nice! We had a great experience since he share about Bali culture a lot! He also took a lot of pictures of us :) Even though it was rainy during the kecak performance, we were given rain coat by the temple and we loved the performance!! Recommend!! Our driver and guide Ketut Putra was fantastic. He was attentive, informative and very knowledgeable. He spoke very good English too. He guided us around the temple and made sure we had great seats for the Kecak dance. His photography skills were second to none. He made my husband and I look like super models. Driving on the roads in Bali is interesting and we were very glad that we had our experienced guide Ketut Putra driving for us. His knowledge about the roads, and also the places we visited was invaluable. The Uluwatu temple was worth a visit, especially at sunset, but the kecak dance performance was nothing less than spectacular. Well worth the trip.

I booked the tour just day before and got it easily organized. My driver/guide was Mr Ketut and I was very pleased with his services. He spoke good English and had a good knowledge about the places I visited. As I was travelling solo he took photos of me and protected me from the stealing monkeys at the temple area! I could recommend this trip. One star missing cause of the arrogant monkeys and the food could have been a bit better..
magnificent experience! The tour was complete, calm and with an excellent guide. His name is Putu and he took me everywhere, gave advice and explained Balinese culture. I didn't have to worry about the tickets or how to take a selfie 😁It is highly recommended to take the tour because they pick you up and take you to your hotel, in air conditioning and with good company.

An amazing experience, our driver and tour guide Ketut Putra was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. As we had extra time we stopped to view the largest statue in Bali and also Ketut took us for a tea/coffee tasting experience. The temple visit was interesting with the very cheeky monkeys who liked to snatch visitors glasses and phones and proceed to eat/destroy them. The fire dance was entertaining and our seafood dinner set on the beach was sensational. All in all a wonderful experience, thank you Ketuk
We got picked up from our villa in Ubud, and Wayan showed exceptional attention to our comfort. It was about a 2 hour drive to Uluwatu and he was very engaging and informative, giving us lots of information about what we were seeing outside our window and just Balinese life in general. At Uluwatu temple, he warned us about the monkeys and true enough, my husband got his hat snatched and we watched a number of other people lose their glasses. Wayan was able to retrieve it for us and it was all quite entertaining. He also knew all the great spots for photos and the sunset was absolutely spectacular. We really enjoyed the Kecak presentation. The dancers were very expressive. Dinner at Jimbaran beach was a beautiful platter of grilled seafood and it was so relaxing to eat right on the beach listening and watching the waves come in. All in all, great value and excellent service. Thank you, Wayan! We had a wonderful time!
