Discover the cultural soul of Bali on our popular Ubud Sightseeing Trip, designed to give you an exciting and memorable holiday experience. Your journey begins with a convenient pickup from your hotel / villa, followed by a visit to the Campuhan Ridge Walk, a scenic trail and an absolute must-see when visiting Ubud.
Next, we'll explore the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, see gray macaques in their natural habitat among temples and jungle. We then continue to the iconic Tegalalang Rice Terrace, explore the famous and beautiful rice paddies. A delicious lunch will be served at a restaurant in Ubud.
Afterwards, we continue our tour to Tirta Empul Temple, a holy water temple and learn about Balinese purification rituals. Our journey then takes us to Goa Gajah Temple, an archaeological site of great historical significance. Our final destination is the magnificent Tegenungan Waterfall, a beautiful oasis perfect for photography, surrounded by lush tropical greenery.

Hidden behind the hotels of Ubud’s main street you will find the beautiful Campuhan Ridge Walk, an absolute must see when visiting the town of Ubud. The rather short, but very rewarding, walkway will take you up and down a ridge along rice fields and palm trees, a perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle from Ubud.
Ubud Monkey Forest occupies 27 lush, green acres at the lower end of Jalan Monkey Forest in the village of Padangtegal. Home to over 400 long tailed macaques (Macaca fascicularis) which are divided into 4 groups that occupy different areas of the park, it is an important cultural and spiritual site that welcomes upwards of 10,000 visitors each month. The Monkey Forest Sanctuary is actually owned and operated by the village of Padangtegal, with village members serving on a governing council that seeks to uphold the integrity of the grounds while promoting it as a tourist destination.
Tegalalang Rice Terrace which according to history, was passed down by a revered holy man named Rsi Markandeya in the eighth century. Tegalalang forms the three most splendid terraced landscapes in Ubud shared region, with the others being in the villages of Pejeng and Campuhan. Tegalalang Rice Terrace alone has an outlook that spreads down before you and away to the rice terraces on the slopes across the valley. The high roadside location is cool and breezy and it is a well known spot for tourists to stop and take photos.
Tirta Empul Temple is beautiful temple complex and holy mountain spring located in the village of Manukaya in central Bali. The site serves as a legendary setting of a traditional tale about good versus evil, its also a national cultural heritage site. The complex built in 960 AD is also a silent witness to the old Balinese kingdom years, particularly at the time of the Warmadewa Dynasty.
Goa Gajah Temple is an archaeological site of significant historical value that makes it a special place to visit. Located on the cool western edge of Bedulu Village, six kilometers out of central Ubud, you do not need more than an hour to descend to its relic filled courtyard and view the rock-wall carvings, a central meditational cave, bathing pools and fountains. The temple name is slightly misleading, lending the impression that its a gigantic dwelling full of elephants.
Tegenungan Waterfall is one of the most popular Bali Places of Interest and the beauty of the waterfall does not only become an attraction for domestic or foreign tourists, local people also often visit this waterfall. Its a part of the Petanu river flowing along the village of Kemenuh, it reaches to the height of up to 20m so you can feel the sound vibration of the falling water.

Guide was basically a taxi driver. We learned very little from him. Traffic was terrible. Experience would have been very different with a qualified guide.

We had the pleasure of spending the day with Wayan Balik as our private driver. He spoke very good English and was very knowledgeable about the areas we visited. Even when stuck in traffic he made the time entertaining with friendly bater and jokes. We had a great time and highly recommend his service. Thankyou Wayan Balik 🙂🙂👍👍

This trip hit all the highlights. The waterfall and rice terraces were very Balinese though a bit commercialized. Hari, our driver, was a master at logistics. Our lunch stop near the terraces was one of the restaurants we ate at for ambiance. And he knew the best order of sights to minimize crowds.

Our new friend Ketut showed us around Ubud. We visited the Monkey Forest, Aloha Ubud swing, the teglagan rice terrace, dined at a beautiful restaurant, went to the temple in Ubud. All along the way, Ketut shared with us wonderful history of Bali, as well as his family. I highly recommend booking with Ketut and experience his knowledge of beautiful Bali.

All the sights and experiences were out of this world. Being our first time in Bali this has been such an amazing experience. Additionally our driver Ketut Putra was awesome. I'd recommend him to anyone who doesn't know anything about the island and needs help figuring out what you want to do on your vacation.

Second time around traveling with our guide, Ngurah Anom. Last time on a solo trip and this time with friends. Very safe driver, very knowledgable about many things, language barrier not an issue because his english is good. Coordinates properly with us and there's never a dull moment on our car rides with him! Definitely recommend.
Smooth whole day tour, driver was on time, gave us advice how to manage our time, and driver was so kind!

The views were so beautiful. Nice open spaces, full of nature! Our driver Ngurah Anom was especially helpful and so so kind. He was also so energetic and knowledgable the entire time and gave the group so much laughter and interesting facts about Bali.
