I have a wonder time at bird park. There is a great variety of birds to admire, to feed, to play with. Admission fee is worth the money. It was not crowdy so I had easy access to all spots. Best for visiting for several hours coz you can not help feeding small multicolored parrots or strolling around with pelican - atmosphere of fairy is in the air. Staff at all locations are friendly and assists with contacting the birds.

Incredable wildlife park, exceptional staff. Higly recommended
We visited Bali Bird Park with our two children and it ended up being one of the highlights of our time in Ubud. The park is beautifully maintained, with lush landscaping and plenty of opportunities to get up close to the (well trained) birds. The variety of birds is impressive - colourful parrots, hornbills, pelicans and birds of prey. Even a Cassowary! The interactive experiences were particularly good, with the kids loving the chance to feed birds and have them perch on their arms for photos. The bird shows were well worth watching and are entertaining and informative. The park never felt overcrowded and there was plenty of shade, making it comfortable even on a warm day. If you’re visiting Ubud with children, I’d put Bali Bird Park high on the list. Allow at couple of hours so you can see the scheduled shows—they really made the experience for us and the kids.
I would highly recommend a visit to this bird park. A bit of bali paradise away from the hustle and bustle. They have an amazing variety of birds on display and you have the opportunity to interact with many different species. It's great to see thatba lot of the birds are not in cages. The birds shows are awsome and I would highly recommend you attend them all. The food was great and really reasonably priced. A great day out for the whole family. 5 stars from me and all the family
We loved the bird park. When we arrived there were stunning birds at the entrance gate and the opportunity to have one on your shoulder. We also saw the live action flights and these were amazing - the birds are so well trained and we loved seeing all the different birds in action. They also had a large area with all different birds on perches and the opportunity to speak with the keepers. The bird park was informative, fun and very well maintained. The only small niggle was that some of the cages were very small for some of the birds, but still well presented. Overall, recommend this park which took us about 90 minutes.
It was not worth the entry cost, not a lot to see and small. Far better ones visited elsewhere in the world.
Phenomenal experience visiting the Bali bird park. It was the highlight of my trip. Didn’t want to leave! Plenty to do here, feeding the birds, holding them, taking photos, shows and all sorts. Would definitely recommend one of the best I’ve visited!
The park is not huge so it is easy to see it all and there are activities almost every hour that are free to join and allow you to be hands on with some beautiful birds. Focusing on SE Asian birds, this is not just captive animals for tourists to gawk at, it is an active breeding and conservation centre. My favorite story is about one of the smaller birds of prey that was bred for release in Australia but wasn't very keen on fending for itself and hitched a lift to Bali on a cruise ship where it was rehomed here. My favourite activity was feeding the baby cormorants, but beware of their sharp beaks. A great way to spend the afternoon.
The Bali Bird Park is one of THE BEST experiences we've ever had. Seeing some super-large birds like the Marabou Stork and the Ground Hornbill was amazing and they have birds from around the world that I have never seen anywhere else BUT THEN having very large, placid birds like the Macaws and the Hornbill placed on your arm for photos, was ANOTHER LEVEL and ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!!! Highly recommended, a beautiful zoo, with great care for the birds, and the up-close-and-personal experience is something you'll never forget. Definitely make the effort to go here!
We had such an incredible time at the Bird Park, one of the highlights of our trip. You get to see an amazing variety of birds from all around the world, all up close and beautifully cared for. The best part was that both kids and adults could feed the birds, which made the experience even more special and interactive. It’s absolutely worth visiting!
We loved being able to touch and hold the birds. The bird show was also amazing, how they fly and come back themselves. Heaven is going to be awesome!
I visited Bali Bird Park in Gianyar and found it to be a pleasant and manageable family outing, especially for younger children. The park is compact and easy to walk through, with many birds roaming freely and several interactive shows scheduled throughout the day. Highlights for us included parakeet feeding, pelican feeding, and the eagle show. The smaller size of the park made the experience relaxed rather than overwhelming, which worked well for my family. The entire attraction is outdoors, and there are no dedicated shaded rest areas, so it can get very hot in the middle of the day. Visiting after lunch was more comfortable, and about one hour was enough to enjoy the shows and explore the grounds at an easy pace. The paths were stroller-friendly, the bathrooms were reasonably clean, and I did not see a nursing room during our visit. Crowds were manageable and wait times were short, with shows running frequently enough that we never felt rushed. There is one on-site restaurant serving simple meals and snacks, and outside food is not allowed. Safety staff were present during feeding sessions, and overall cleanliness was acceptable for a fully outdoor attraction. Ticket prices were reasonable at 112,000 IDR for adults and 76,000 IDR for children, which felt fair considering the number of shows and interactive experiences included. Overall, Bali Bird Park is a nice option for families with toddlers and young children who want an easy, enjoyable outing in Gianyar. I would return for another relaxed visit.
It was amazing to see all the different birds. There are different parts of the park for different geographic regions. It was a great day out. Debbie in the large aviary was really helpful and let me feed the birds. I loved the giant crowned pigeons.
Very beautiful place for a family to visit and enjoy the weather in this lovely island this park is so nice and there’s a lot of unique birds
Very nice organized bird park, amazing variety of birds (most of which come from different Indonesian islands) that we never seen in any bird park around the world before. The bird feeding interactions were great, and the petting areas included many turtles , monitor lizards, iguanas. ..etc. well worth the entrance fee.
We really enjoyed the bird park. It was great to see so many birds in close to natural surroundings. Many of the birds were not in cages. We arrived in time to see one of the bird shows, which was informative
We had a great morning at Bali Bird park. We followed all the shows and feeding schedules so we had plenty to do! The shows were all great especially the basic instinct show which displayed all the hawks and raptors. We also loved feeding the pelicans and the Komodo dragon. The park itself is very clean and well organized. We didn’t feel bored one bit even it being small. Only one negative comment is that 4D show is very outdated and uninteresting. It would be better if they showed a documentary with real birds rather than a cartoon with bad voice acting and graphics from early 2000s. Just skip that part. lol.
Such an awesome place. Birds are kept clean and well fed. No stinks anywhere. Very quiet and calm surroundings. It’s a garden with birds around. I love the pelican moving around. Lots of birds we can see and in a beautiful way. The restaurant is excellent too. Washrooms are neat. We can interact with the birds. And the shows are great and informative too. Will go again
We visited the bird park for about 3 hours on an afternoon. The park is relatively new with lovely bird enclosures. However, there is a large focus on interaction with the birds. We attended the presentation on a couple of cockatoos, feeding of cormorants and a bird of prey demonstration. Together with bird feeding in the aviaries and the fact there were many birds we hadn’t seen before (including the Javan magpie) made this a great outing.
Beautiful Bird park. Outstandingly maintained. Lot's to see and experience with many birds to handle and capture great photo memories. Well worth the visit. Comfortable 2 to 3 hours visit.
Lots of birds. It was fun to feed them and hold them. We had a good time. I would not buy their photos so take your own camera so you can take your own pictures. If you have kids, they have a little 4D movie theater that’s fun for kids.
Wayan took us to an amazing bird park. We arrived in time at 10:30 to view an interesting bird show, highlighted by Hornbeak's, cockatiel, and parrots. They'll do as they are told to do as long as they get a treat. Luckily, we found a bench under the shade of a tree; otherwise, it would be intolerable in the open sun. Unexpectedly, we saw a couple of Komodo dragons. They looked docile -- perhaps the midday heat kept them non-threatening.
We went for the first time to Bali Bird Park with our family of 8 adults and 2 children as one of the highlights of our holiday trip to Bali. The park is beautiful and not so big and in a beautiful maintained lush green gardens and aviaries with an extensive range of exotics and endanger birds like Macaws, Storks, Cranes and Hornbills. The birds are having good times and roaming freely in the open air. You can take pictures with the birds on your shoulder or hands all for free. The staff were super friendly and informative, one of them kindly offered us to feed the birds which turned into lots of fun for our granddaughter. We attend a small bird predator show and it was entertaining and educational, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. At the end, we had a lovely day at the bird park and highly recommended when you visit Bali with your children.
We had a great time with the kids here. Interactive experiences with the birds. We saw 2 shows really impressive. The kids had a great 4 hours. Nice bit of lunch. Girls aged 22 months & 3
Amazing place, I was really happy in this park. All those bird are very nice and it was great experience! 🦤🤍🌺 All guys there are very friendly and if you have questions, just ask them!
This Bird Park was the best place we have ever been to see birds. The variety of birds there is amazing, especially the really large ones like the Macaws, Storks, Cranes and Hornbills. The most special thing about this park is that they put the (very tame) Macaws and Hornbills on your arms and head (without any restraints) and you can take photos. We saw these kinds of pictures online and thought they were Photoshopped but now we know they were real because we have these photos too! The staff also take professional photos of you with the birds and there is no obligation to buy, but the professional photos were great and the whole package of photos (emailed to you) was only AUD$70 so we bought them! The bird show with the Cassowary, large Stork, Macaw and lots of other birds was great. We had an amazing time and thoroughly recommend the Bali Bird Park.
Very memorable experience at Bali Birds Park. Staff were super friendly, one of them kindly offered us to feed the birds which turned into lots of fun. Great even on a slightly rainy day. Highly recommend.
It is a well-maintained park, perfect for families. The park offers interactive shows, diverse bird species, free roaming birds, and a serene environment. With a variety of food options and a souvenir shop, it's a convenient outing for all ages. The total experience could take approximately 2 to 3 hours.
Easily buy your vouchers upfront in your own currency and exchange at the entrance for your actual entry tickets. The park itself is cosy and full of free roaming birds, walk-in aviaries, etc. There are plenty of activities (feeding sessions etc) and places to buy food and drinks. Recommended activity (although for Bali one of the more expensive entry tickets).
This is one amazing place. You'll get to see a lot of birds having a good time, rolling freely in the open. You can take pics with birds on your hands and they have informative sessions too inside. If you have children they will absolutely love this place. I went their with my wife ans we both had a really good time.
It’s a good place to spend a couple of hours, there are a variety of birds at the park. There are also some shows that everyone can enjoy.
I had the chance to visit Bali Bird Park today with two colleagues, and we had an amazing time! The park is very well maintained and spotless. There are so many birds of different varieties, which was really impressive to see. The small shows were both entertaining and educational, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. We had so much fun exploring and learning about these beautiful creatures. Plus, the restaurant on site is excellent! A big thank you to Vendi who guided us and explained everything in great detail. He truly made our visit special with his knowledge and enthusiasm. We’ll definitely be coming back!
This is a beautiful park - not huge but lots to see. The entrance fee was the highest we paid of any park, so we were surprised that they then charged extra for photos with the birds. This still has lots of quite small cages, I wish all the birds were in large aviaries
Amazingly beautiful park and fun shows that allow audiences to join! Many birds roam free and they seem happy. Recommended a lot!
Fantastic park with opportunities to walk amongst the birds, many of whom are free to roam and fly. Feeding the Komodo Dragon was a once in a lifetime experience!
We had a lovely day at the bird park. The staff clearly care very much about their birds and they all seemed very well looked after, they have a range of conservation and breeding programmes. They also have a range of encounters and feeding activities throughout the day where they provide information about the animals and their natural behaviours. Also has a nice cafe with tasty food and drinks. We ended up spending around fours hours here in the end!
A wonderful experience walking around the lovely garden of the Bali Bird Park and looking at and interacting with exotic birds. There are several informative staff talks held around the park and then end at the cafe serving lovely meals and drink
Our family loves wildlife so the Bali Bird park was a huge hit with us. Set in beautifully maintained lush green gardens and aviaries this oasis has an extensive range of birds . Lots of info boards describing birds and their habitats and conservation status. We attended 3 bird displays during the morning. An airy restaurant provides good snacks and light meals. Arrive at opening time to see the birds active in the morning.
Because of the humidity, my first advice is-go when it opens at 9am. You go straight up steps with a map to an area where helpful staff take your picture with any colourful birds there. The map guides you to several bird shows, and also a parakeet enclosure (quite damp, but worthwhile). Also, a Komodo dragon pit-with high walls, which we viewed, but didn't wait for their 11am feeding. There are a couple of places to sit and have a drink; including right at the end of the map-a large open air cafe where staff members bring several large birds for close up photos with people-for free! When we went (May '24) tickets were 385,000 rp (about A$35).
Best thing we did on Bali. The kids loved it it is nice, clean, many activities and could easily spend 3-4 hours. Good restaurant onsite
Well with the trip. The reviews were right - a brilliant place to visit. Very interactive and staff were lovely. Do have lunch here. Very reasonable and excellent quality.
A great day, beautiful birds and so nice to see them flying around , it was such a thrill to hold them. We’ll layer out venue , clean.
If you like animals this is a really great, unique animal park. You get up close with hundreds of different kinds of beautiful birds — exotic animals like hornbills, crowned storks, even birds of paradise. They seem to take care of the animals and park exceptionally well. Kids (16, 13, 11) loved it. Highly recommend.
Wonderful interactions with the birds (feeding, holding, learning about). Birds are happy, mostly free and well taken care of. Great variety and friendly knowledgeable staff. Our family had a great time!
Enjoyable visit that we were able to do after visiting the reptile park that is just next door. The experience was good if a bit of a let down after the reptile park but did have reptiles of its own namely some wonderful kimono dragons. Very enjoyable interaction with the birds.
This is a wonderful park with beautiful and unusual birds in an excellent display. There are some feeding shows and demonstrations at scheduled times that are worth watching. Great experience for children, teens and adults. Credit cards are accepted.
We really enjoyed visiting the bird park - especially when we could roam amongst some of the birds and feed them. Some beautiful varieties plus a Komodo dragon.
The birds here looked extremely well cared for. There are birds at the entrance with pinioned wings but I believe this was done before the previous managers who no longer maintain this cruel practice. I think it was very educational as well. The walk in aviary with a treetop walk around it as well was stunning. There are very interesting shows throughout the day and the restaurant offered a variety of very reasonably priced meals. There was also a little gelato and coffee kiosk in the park as well. The staff also seemed happy to be working there too. I was expecting to be here for a hour or two at most but easily spent 4 hours here.
Spent 2 hours in the bird park in Bali. From the moment you walked in, the staff could not be more helpful. They explained what times were feeding sessions and where they were held. There was a gelato, coffee shop and restaurant. The facilities wete tidy and clean. We particulaly enjoyed the birds of prey swooping over our heads, and there was customer participation. Lots of colourful birds, definately worth a visit.
The Bali Bird Park was a highlight on our trip to Bali. I had my best coffee and meal here too! Our whole family loved the interactive shows and scheduled bird feedings. The birds, grounds and dining areas are all immaculate.
