Bali : Private Car Charter With English Speaking Driver

Our guide Made was the best, his English is very good and he is very knowledgable. We made suggestions of what we would like to see and Made came up with some great places to visit including a wonderful temple, a coffee plantation visitors centre and shop where we had a tasting and bought Luwak coffee. He took us to an amazing restaurant for lunch where we had some of the best food we'd had in our whole 7 week trip. I couldn't recommend this service enough.

On time pick-up. Driven us safely (in a nice clean car ) around spots that we chose to visit. Made' is very fluent in English, is very conversational and engaging and gave us basic facts about the areas visited. Took our pictures as well. Since it was raining, even brought us umbrellas. Great customer service!

The cherry on our NYE trip to Bali was to have Madi as our tour guide.Punctual professional knowledgeable and above all genuine. He took us to a coffee plantation where we got to savour 10 + variations, the monkey forest , the Cretya restaurant overlooking the rice fields and lastly a mask factory.Charming company and we felt protected all times in very sturdy clean modern SUV. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

At the beginning I did not have a clear idea of plan but the driver (Wayan is his name) quickly gave me ideas and suggestions where to go and which route to choose. Thanks to his skills, I had very scenic drive along Batur and Agung area, having lunch at the restaurant with very good view, and then visited the sacred Besakih Temple. In the end, I had a good day filled with the encounter to the lots of good sceneries of Bali.

What a great company! We met our guide Made when he took us on our snorkelling trip and we then asked him to organise 2 further bespoke trips, one to the water temple for a purification ceremony and monkey forest and then to take us to hike up the volcano. Made looked after us beautifully. Explained about the Hindu culture and the sites we were seeing. Hugely recommended! Nothing was too much trouble.

Through Bali Local Host we decided to do a personalized tour in Uluwatu, starting from Seminyak. Our guide Wira was excellent, he drove us brilliantly through the insane traffic and answered all our questions, giving us the chance to visit the best beaches in Uluwatu, as well as the Uluwatu Temple. I was travelling with my children (two girls of ages, 12 & 14). Midi is friendly and accommodating. We had two days with him where he took us to Bali Safari and Ubud. Both days we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. He was on time, was able to accommodate our needs.

We were lucky to have Wayan as our tour guide at Bali. First of all I would like to remark his kindness and humor. He is always possitive, in good mood and smiling. Besides he speak perfect english so he explained all the visits we did. He is a very attentive guy and he tries always to make you feel confortable so you can have an unforgetable day. As examples , he helped us carrying the backpacks, taking pictures to the whole family, driving us to the supermarket at 20:00 when going back to the hotel after being with us since 8:30 in the morning, always with amability and good mood. He was very kind as well with my son and daugther and by the end of the day they were just like fríends. In top of all that he is a great driver and you feel very safe at all moments with him. I highly recommend his services as a tour guide in Bali.

Our driver was really nice and was helpful in taking us around Ubud. Traffic was bad this time around Bali in general and our driver was very patient with my group as we went to multiple places during the day. Definitely would recommend, and they were really easy to communicate with (whatsapp and on app)

Was on my solo trip to Bali so connected to Made through my cousin who had done her solo trip with him years back. The experience was amazing, he took me to all the worthy sights around Ubud the 1st day and then on the way to Canggu the 2nd day. We hired Made by recommendation through a friend who said Made was the best, and very accommodating. Made’s vehicle can also seat 7 passengers so you have enough room for your friends and family or even if it’s for just you and your spouse! So it’s definitely a nice and comfortable vehicle. We hired Made based on a recommendation from a friend whom recently used his services last month. We wanted someone who was very knowledgeable of the local areas, accommodating to our needs, skilled as a driver and last but not least a pleasure to be around. Made was all that and a lot more. We reached out by whatsapp, gave him our wants on the trip and he worked out an itinerary that made logistical sense. Even when a curveball was thrown at us he was able to adapt and improvise and somehow made our experience even more enjoyable. My wife and I have already started to plan out itineraries to hire Made for our future return trip to Bali. If we could hire him for our entire trip I think I might do that to save me a lot of headache. Simply the best, theres not much else to say other than that. If you are traveling to Bali you are going to need a driver to move around. There is no public transportation other than taxis in Denpasar, there are no busses and private driver and taxi rates vary tremendously. For example a taxi from Ubud to the elephant safari park quoted me 400 rupiah but another quoted 200. We hired Made three days during our stay in Bali and he was the best and his English is the great. We hired him to take us to the airport from the elephant park on short notice. We hired him for a whole day for snorkeling and another day to takes us around Ubud with the stops that we requested. He was patient, caring knowledge and knows the best restaurants. He is punctual and reliable. If you need a driver in Bali you need to contact Made. He returns messages thru TripAdvisor promptly. We were very impressed by him.

To be honest: I can only recommend the company through Expefia. In particular, the driver Esa earns 10 points out of 10 possible: He is competent, unobtrusive, polite and enormously friendly. Because he knew and used side streets, we had more time for the big points. The man is worth an unconditional recommendation, especially since he drives you very, very much.
