Ayung River Rafting - Ubud Best White Water Rafting

Very nice ride with very good and friendly guide. But facilities like toilet and shower need an upgrade…

The driver was fantastic, the Rafting Tour was also very funny, the first brake at the waterfall, great. The second brake was not neccessary, absolutly bot. Lunch after Rafting was quit good.

Fantastic experience with 10 year old twins. Jungle landscaping is truly breathtaking and the guide, Eddie a fantastic photographer. A very special experience which none of the family will forget. The food at the end wasn’t great albeit we weren’t expecting anything. On this particular trip, there were no steps back to the transport which we had heard could be quite challenging.

We had a fantastic experience with Pande who picked us up on time and was extremely accommodating with pit stops as required. The white water rafting experience was unbelievable and we would highly recommend.

Our driver Nengah, fantastic, on time, great English, funny, helpful, nothings a hassle. 40min drive from where we were staying outside of UBUD, but worth it, again great guide, alot of steps down to river, but worth it, (only 6 steps on the way back). We only had 6 people in our raft, Safe, fun, amazing views, waterproof your camera for Waterfall photos and videos. A must do in Bali

Enjoyed our time on the Ayung River! Our guide was incredible, navigating the rapids with ease through beautiful scenery: waterfalls, rice paddies, and the rock carvings. It's not too intense, making it perfect for anyone looking for fun. Tip: Be ready for the many stairs to and out of the river, but it's totally worth it! Buffet lunch and hot shower afterwards was a nice finish. Our trip included a transfer to and from Benoa pier. Our driver Gusti Ngurah was very patience and also a helpful guide.

Had an amazing driver pick us up at our hotel and dropped us off in a different location which was a great way to save on a taxi from one hotel to the next!

Fantastic activity, not overly strenuous, just a fair few stairs either side for those that aren’t able to do stairs. We had a fantastic guide, he had a great sense of humour and had us laughing the whole time.

Great driver despite the crazy roads. Activity was excellent, everything you would expect it to be. Would definitely recommend for families of all ages

Nice friendly staff. Beautiful scenery down the river. Rapids are mild and were suitable for any age. Family loved it. Difficult walk down but even worse going back up the hundreds of stairs on the return. Need to be fairly fit. Our lovely guide carried my oar & life jacket and encouraged me for the entire walk back up. My calves are killing me still!! 🤪

River rafting was an amazing experience, but getting down to it was some going, we were told 300 steps, but it certainly felt like more. Anyone with mobility issues, I would not recommend this. The rafting itself was great fun it's the getting back up when you finish the rafting, the humidity makes it feel hotter, and the air thinner, I struggled to get back up.

Beautiful views! The river was pretty challenging though. Our driver, Aditya, was awesome too. Punctual, professional and respectful.

Best experience ever. White Water rafting duration was over 3 hours duration. Brief stop en route for hydration break. One can pay upfront for photos + drone videos to be taken. Strongly advise to make use of these services

We were picked up and returned safely to the hotel and had a great day with the kids. It was fun and the nature is amazing. Afterwards our really nice guide Nyoman Parwata took us to a really beautiful Balinese House. We loved the trip! Just don’t expect much from the showers afterwards. It’s nicer to clean up in the hotel

Such a great trip today! Water rafting made so much fun in ayung river. It is so beautiful in the jungle, you came also along waterfalls. We had a lot of fun with our guide and group. Afterwards we had lunch at the center. We were picked up at our hotel. Our driver Gusti eka was very nice. He also brought us back at the evening. Very uncomplicated, very friendy. Perfect action day in Bali. I recommend to everyone :)

The trip is wonderful! The driver, Putu Badung, is a really good guy. He drives good and is very friendly. He pickes me up at 8 am and send me back at 7 pm. It is a very good trip in Bali!

Well oiled machine! Rafting was so fun. Can’t beat a bintang mid river! Little bit of chaos with all the other boats and river is tight but adds to the experience. Did the elephant tour after which was really cool.

What a wonderful day. Scenery is gorgeous along the river with waterfalls and rock carvings along the way. The rapids are really very tame and don’t present much of a challenge if looking for an adrenaline rush but there is loads of fun and frivolity with other rafters to make the tour great. Our guide Norman was wonderful and kept us afloat. Lunch is simple but enjoyable. Special mention to Hari our driver who was on time and filled us in, on local knowledge during our trip to the starting point. Hari was very pleasant and kept us well informed about how the day would progress. Thank you Hari for getting us there !!

Our driver Agung was courteous, punctual, well dressed he was informative and interesting to talk to. The rafting was awsome our rafting guide went out of his way to ensure that we had a great experience. All up we had a really good day.

Had an absolute blast with Maddie and the other raft in the group. We were definitely having the most fun on the river out of all the other rafts and it was because the guides were encouraging us, safely. There was a really good safety briefing at the start and good information on what we would see and when to pose for photos. The facility was really clean and the meal was super tasty, and they had the best sambal I've had in Bali. The transfer was easy, and when I had something to discuss with the company, they were very interactive and responsive, I'm really impressed.

Today I did rafting activity in the ayung river. With experienced guides making river trips very enjoyable. After we finished river rafting, we were served with a very tasty Indonesian menu

This trip is a must do. Excellant time good guide and wonderful ride along the river. kadek was a fantastic driver and went out of his way to provide top notch service. Would recomend to everyone.....just beware about 200 steps down and back up from the river, so wear comfortable shoes. Guide has a water proof bag to keep stuff.

5/5 experience. You will need some walk down to the river, but the process is fun. Rafting guide is super motivating and kind. Strongly recommended

The best experience ever! Our instructor was called Tommy and he made the experience so fun - we were briefed at the beginning with all the safety instructions as it was our first time rafting, but after we all felt very confident. We raft for around 2 hours but half way through you can stop for a drink and throughout Tommy took pictures and videos of us and we got to stop to go under a waterfall! The experience is then topped off with lunch at the end which is a variety of delicious Indonesian food! 100% recommend going with Ayung River to do White Water Rafting - the best day of our holiday. Amazing experience with these guys. Really friendly and funny instructors, little worries. Ayung river was wild enough to have a good time but more relaxing then anything. Jumping in that water with a huge waterfall crashing down onto you was one to remember. We loved the experience!!

Pickup at the agreed time at our hotel and driven directly to the starting point. Got kitted out with equipment. Good guide in the boat and amazing nature. Definitely worth doing.

2 hours rafting in beautiful ayung river with my partner, was a great adventure in bali. Lunch is delicious and we buy a video and photo during our rafting trip

Overall I really enjoyed this trip. I have never been white water rafting before so was a little nervous (plus I am from the silver haired brigade). Lots of steps down to river, which also means a lot of steps back up. I was fine with it but I do consider myself quite fit. Maybe a problem for others. I felt there was not enough explanation of what was going to happen and not enough safety instructions about being in the water. However it turns out it is a very mild river in reality and quite shallow, so once I was aware of this I was ok about it all. They stop off halfway to a makeshift drinks bar. Very expensive and the vendors try and pursued you to buy a drink for your guide. Nice lunch provided at venue either before of after rafting. I would recommend this trip for those who have not been rafting before as it is a beautiful setting. I would say great fun for families.

If you have children then this is a definite must whilst in Bali. We have 3, ages 9, 11 and 13. They all absolutely loved it. Our guide Johnny was great fun. Letting the children swim when they wanted to. We all got out another time to stand under a waterfall. There is great relationship between all the different guides operating in the River. There are local people selling refreshments along the banks, so everyone stops halfway for a rest. We didn’t have money, but they write a list of what we have, and then we paid when we got back to base. When finished there were showers and towels to freshen up. We then sat down to a buffet lunch - which was excellent! Only negative was that it was a 2 hour trip from where we we’re staying in Uluwatu, but the taxi was included, so no complaints. Even better, stay in one of the luxury hotels along the river bank, if you can afford it 😉

Don't have enough words about this amazing experience! This trip exceeded our expectations every step of the way. A must do in Bali for all ages. You won't regret booking with these guys! 3 of us were travelling together and booked a last minute trip the night before for the next morning. Putu Ariawan was quick to answer our WhatsApp message and everything was arranged for the next day. We were a little nervous about the safety standards and skill level required as although we are all fit we have never been white water rafting. But our fears were quickly stilled as we were given quality equipment, thorough and fun briefings and introductions. We went in October, one of the driest seasons but the river was moving great and we had some exciting rapids along the way. Incredibly beautiful and fun way to explore Bali's beautiful countryside. The guides are hilarious and were having just as much fun as us but clearly very knowledgable about the river and their job as guides. Waterfalls, rapids, and water fights! What a memorable day! Thanks so much to the whole team along the way, always smiling and making us feeling welcome, and of course for the delicious buffet lunch waiting for us at the end of the trip.

My wife and I had an amazing time rafting on the Ayung River and seeing the sites in Ubud, the staff was very fun and knew how to make the journey entertaining. Would highly recommend for all. Also, if you have the chance ask for Susila as your driver and guide. He's very nice and knowledgable about the area, and is great for conversation and learning about Bali!

Good time with a top-notch guide and a beautiful setting

We spent a wonderful day on water rafting today. Can only recommend to anyone from the bottom of my heart. We booked at short notice, were picked up in time at our hotel in Nusa Dua, then we continued for 1.5 hours to Ubud. Very much had fun with our guide on the water and other international guests, laughed a lot. On site there are towels, lockers and delicious food!!!!
