Maha was an absolutely fantastic driver and tour guide!! His English was wonderful and he provided us with so much information about the Balinese culture, people and sites along our 2 1/2 hour drive to the waterfalls. The activity was so much fun and the area around it was stunning and much more peaceful and less crowded than other places we have visited. Our teenagers said this was one of their favorite activities on our trip. We had an amazing day thanks to Maha!
We had a wonderful time visiting the waterfalls at the heart of the island. It was a truly memorable and worthwhile experience. We were also very fortunate to have Maha as our driver for the day. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about Bali, its culture, and its people. Not only did he explain everything clearly, but he also showed us around with great care and attention. On top of that, he was an excellent driver, and my family always felt safe with him.
Amazing time jumping into the waterfalls! While the first one is relatively simple the 2nd and 3rd waterfalls are quite steep and scary although it's upto you if you want to jump or not! Also big thank you to Esa our driver who was very accommodating and helpful throughout!

Bali is over priced and if you leave anything ( money ) unattended in your room it will be stolen. Even in the safe it disappears!!! They are charging high prices and don’t change linen or give very good service for the price. They were happy people years ago and now are aggressive and not friendly in Kuta . Some are the exception of course

The drive was about 2.5hrs from Seminyak and worth every minute! The scenery along the way was beautiful once we got out of the busy area. The waterfalls were amazing! There are different heights you can jump from and/or slide down. The water is fresh and clean. My tour guide, Adi, was so nice and friendly and made the longer drive an absolute easy journey. One of the best tours I’ve done in Bali and highly recommend Bali Local Hosts to book tours through. I will definitely be using them again! 10/10!

If you love an adventure, the Aling Aling Waterfall is a great excursion to do. You can do cliff jumping from 5, 10 and 15m height, but also do waterfall sliding. The Handara gate is on the route of the waterfall and nice to see.
Made took care of my elderly mum and I well. Communication is a breeze and he goes the extra mile to make sure we are comfortable throughout. He is knowledgeable, warm and professional in his ways. It was fantastic! We had the best time jumping off the waterfall, and both of our guides were very friendly. We had lunch in a typical restaurant and then went to a very nice coffee shop. Highly recomend it! Very big thank to Kadek!
Maha picked us up from the hotel and took us around the destinations in a timely manner. He had great recommendations for coffee and lunch , the lunch spot by the lake was exceptional. Our guide at Aling Aling was wonderful too , he knew just how much to push to get me to dive and when to stop . Overall the waterfalls experience was great! We also had the opportunity to see the handara gate , which as expected was quite busy - wouldn't recommend this spot if you're out of time. We then went to a coffee plantation, sampled some teas and coffee. That was fun in general. Highly rate this tour , and would come back and do it again.
We arranged a day trip to explore the North of Bali with Made. The communication was very easy and flawless, as Made speaks very good English and replies quickly. First, we visited the stunning Ulun Danu Beratan temple, then we went further up North to see the Aling Aling waterfalls and afterwards we saw one of the biggest ricefields in Bali. We had such a fun day and I can highly recommend this tour and him as a driver. Thank you! :)
Our tour guide, I Wayan Dontking, was so friendly and made this excursion very memorable. The car ride to Aling-Aling waterfall was roughly 2 hours and Wayan kept us engaged the whole time with music, cultural lessons and fun personality. When we got to the waterfall, there was another tour guide that showed up how to properly jump and made sure we were safe the entire time. Wayan also held our belongings and took great pictures. I HIGHLY recommend booking this activity with Wayan!
I came to Bali for the first time with my friend and this experience was incredible. I have to thank our tour guide Wayan for the amazing experience. I was able to jump off of all the 5,10 and 15 meter cliff and everyone there was so supportive. I highly recommend this for anyone to wants some thrill. Wayan also let us know tips for our first time in Bali. Overall, 11/10 experience. Also, Wayan took great pictures for us!!
The Driver Made provided exceptional service, was flexible with times, pick up locations and drop offs, gave amazing insight into Bali, was great to have a chat and laugh with for the whole day. Would highly recommend Made for all activities or transport in general. This day was a once in a lifetime experience you have to do once!

My driver Dena was an all star. He provided local knowledge along the way to the waterfall. We stopped at the Handara Gate on the way and thanks to Dena’s tip to do it on the way there avoided the crowds and line up. The jumping and natural water slide at Aling-Aling were fun. Dena even made additional stops along the way for photo ops at twin lakes with a beautiful view and a spontaneous photo shoot with a snake, a bat, and a giant iguana. He also made an additional stop at the Ulun Danu Bratan Temple. Suksma Dena!

Great trip and highly recommended. Very friendly driver Agus was waiting at the hotel at 8am to drive me to the waterfalls. It's a rather long drive from Kuta but well worth the ride. There's some nice views of Bali along the ride as well. At the site another very friendly guide Teddy was waiting for me to show around the different waterfalls. The site is very beautiful and the various slides and jumps create a nice natural waterpark created by the nature itself. We progressed the jumps from 5m to 10m and with Teddy's mind prep was able to gather the courage to do the 15m jump as well. Very cool experience! On the drive back, enjoyed a delicious meal with beautiful lake views, stopped at the gate and visited the coffee plantation. Various delicious coffees and teas were offered for tasting and it was fascinating to hear about the interesting process of making Luwak coffee :) All in all, a very nice trip and would definitely do it again! Extra thanks for the guides who are really making a great effort for you to make the most out of the trip!
Made is what made our experience incredible. He brought us everywhere and waited for us all day. He made us feel so at ease, and answered all our question regarding Balinise culture. He really made our trip wondetful. He also took us to the best local food on Twin Lake. I highly recommend this tour.
We ended up booking our adventure late the day before and we were so lucky there was availability. Our guide picked us up from our hotel in Ubud and we began our trip. Our guide was extremely friendly and gave us an excellent understanding of the culture in Bali. We stopped about half way to the water falls for photos. Once we arrived at the water falls our new guide showed us the water falls and natural slides and jumping areas. We had an absolute blast, our guide allowed time for plenty of swimming and jumping. On the way home we stopped at a local restaurant and had an amazing lunch above twin lakes. Our last stop was an amazing coffee spot close to our hotel. I would definitely recommend this adventure and can’t wait to do it again.
The best waterfall experience in Bali! We had heard the waterfalls in Ubud tend to be crowded and for viewing only and we wanted to really experience the nature here and decided this was the better option. And boy were we right!! Waterfall jumping with practically no one around, driving through the beautiful country side, lunch at a delicious local spot on the top of a mountain and more. He even made 2 special stops for us on the way back to our hotel and was more than accommodating! Can’t recommend this experience enough!
What an amazing trip to aling aling waterfall, our driver Denia was very attentive and also took us to Handara gate then off to the twin lakes for lunch apart from the long drive from kuta. The experience was amazing would highly recommend it.
My husband and I had the best time ever! Firstly got picked up from Mercure Resort Sanur. We get to meet and greet our professional driver, tour guide and best photographer Denia. He was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and so patience with us to make sure we had the best experience and enjoyable time ever! We highly recommend him to anyone. The drive to Aling- Aling Waterfall is 2 hours from Sanur. We stopped at the coffee plantation which was pretty awesome and because we need power or kept awake for our long day trip. We stopped at Handara Gate for some beautiful photos. And we had our yummy lunch at Twin Lakes Restaurant with a magnificent and beautiful view. We got a cheeky monkeys visitor which was awesome. They stay away while we had lunch and they just play (entertain us!Haha so cute) Lastly, Aling Aling Water fall just amazing and we had our own personal guide for the water fall. We spend 2 hours at the water fall, swimming, sliding and jumping. We get to visit the other water falls as well for beautiful photos and just enjoying our time looking around. A big Thank you to Ketut our water fall personal guide who was very supportive, helpful, friendly and patience with us. We had a blast! A big massive thank you to our driver for the day Denia,for all your you do to make sure we had a great time and back to our hotel safe and sound. We will be back for sure! Terima Kasih banyak!
This was an incredible action packed tour! My wife and I had so much fun interacting with these beautiful waterfalls. We were picked up in Ubud and the drive was about 2 hours. Our driver Made was exceptional and allowed us many opportunities to stop or see local sites on the way (such as the hanandura gate or the ulun danu temple) to break up the long drive. When we arrived we were quickly transported to the falls and a new guide Bota. He showed us all 4 of the waterfalls which were stunning and so much fun! The falls have 2 natural water slides and 3 jumping areas. What's so cool is that the jumping heights get progressively higher with each jump. So the first is only about 8m, then about 12m, then 15m on the last one (super high and only for the thrill seekers!) The guide let us stay as long as we wanted, helped make sure we were safe (for instance he jumped into one of the falls first to show that it was safe), got us in the right spot on the natural slides, etc. If you're going to visit any waterfalls in Bali make sure you do this tour and visit Aling Aling. It's totally worth the trip!!
An absolutely wonderful experience! The waterfalls were so beautiful and even the drive and walk to get to the waterfalls had amazing views - it felt like we were in a painting. We felt very safe doing the jumps and the slides since we could pick the difficulty levels! The rocks around the waterfall can be slippery so waterproof shoes are great to pack. Lunch was also lovely overlooking a lake. Our tour guide and driver, Denia, was amazing - he shared with us about Bali’s culture and history. I’d definitely recommend this trip!

Had a great time. Made was flexible in the arrangements and helped organise the day. We had to adjust the day and Made was really helpful - he arranged 2 cars as we were a family of 7, and his brother in law August was also a legend. We had a wonderful day with Made who took us to all the best places including the coffee plantation, handara gate and the waterfalls. The waterfalls were amazing and the jumping/sliding gave us a good adrenaline rush. He took us to a beautiful spot for lunch which overlooked two huge lakes that were so pretty!
