We stayed for 3 days and overall experience was good. The room given to us was very noisy from swimming pool pump noise through the whole day and night. Could not get any decent sleep at night. We requested for another room the very next morning and we were given a better quieter room. In actual fact, they should not have given this room for anyone to stay. It’s not suitable for any guest.. Secondly, this is far from everything. Any time you wanna step out you need a transport so if once you’re out you can’t get back and go out again, you gotta do everything at one go. The facilities are good love the swimming pool the beach next door and of course the restaurant. Your foot was good with nice choices. One thing worth mentioning is the staff. They are super friendly nice and very helpful. Always there to render their help, knowledge of the area and any personal request. One gentleman worth mentioning is Kenan. He went out of his way to help us get a ride to the shops and even offered to pay because we did not have any cash with us at the moment. Anyone looking for a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle of city and traffic noise, Dreamland Bali will be a wonderful place.

I had such a wonderful experience staying at this hotel, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better welcome to Bali. From the moment I arrived, I felt comfortable, cared for, and genuinely welcomed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the hospitality made my stay feel much more personal than just staying at a hotel. A special thank you to Kenan, who was absolutely wonderful throughout my stay. He was incredibly accommodating, attentive, and kind, and always made sure I felt comfortable and had everything I needed. What really stood out to me was how naturally he made me feel at home. He went above and beyond to make sure my experience was a positive one, and his friendly personality made such a difference. Coming to Bali for the first time can feel a little overwhelming, but having someone like Kenan there to greet you and make you feel welcome made me feel great from the very beginning. His hospitality really reflects what makes a stay memorable — it’s not just the room or the facilities, but the people who make you feel genuinely looked after. The hotel itself has a lovely atmosphere, and the overall experience was relaxing and enjoyable. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and helpful, but Kenan especially deserves recognition for the care and effort he put into making my stay special. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bali, especially if you’re looking for a place where you can feel welcomed and comfortable rather than just another guest. I’m very grateful for the hospitality I received and would happily stay here again. Thank you to the team, and especially Kenan, for making my arrival in Bali such a great experience! 🌴❤️
This stay has been extremely disappointing. Shortly after arriving, I received a letter stating that hot water would be unavailable in all guest rooms for approximately five days because of repairs. Despite this major inconvenience, the hotel offered no discount, compensation or alternative solution. There is also active construction directly beside my room, but this was not disclosed when I made the reservation. The noise and disruption are inconvenient, and construction workers can look directly into my room. As a result, I cannot open the curtains or properly use the balcony, which removes both my privacy and my ability to enjoy a feature I paid for. The food and restaurant service were also unacceptable. I ordered a shrimp salad that contained exactly two shrimp, and they did not appear fresh. The salad was so unpleasant that I could not eat it. As I was leaving the restaurant and had already started walking up the steps, a waiter who had not served me or been present during my meal stopped me in front of other guests and asked whether I had paid. This was extremely rude, embarrassing and uncomfortable. The hotel should have an internal system for confirming payments rather than questioning guests publicly as they leave. To make matters worse, when I returned to the hotel, my room key had been deactivated because the staff incorrectly believed that my reservation was only for one night. I had to return to reception and show proof of my actual reservation before I could access my room again. The property itself is also very old and run-down. Considering the price, this does not feel like the resort it is advertised to be. The hotel does not look like the photos shown on the website, except for the reception area. The pleasant reception staff and the drivers are the only positive aspects of my experience. Unfortunately, they are working in a property that does not match the standard or appearance presented online. Between having no hot water, undisclosed construction, a lack of privacy, poor-quality food, inappropriate treatment at the restaurant, being locked out of my room because of the hotel’s mistake, and the overall condition of the property, this has not been the relaxing resort experience advertised. Management should provide appropriate compensation and be transparent with guests about the condition of the hotel, major maintenance and construction before accepting reservations
TL;DR: If you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing stay in Bali, stay here at the Wyndham Dreamland Resort Bali. We’re not normally ones to stay in big hotel chains, but this was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted somewhere away from the busy roads of Uluwatu, close to Dreamland Beach for surfing, with a pool and gym on site. It was only a short stay, and we wanted somewhere we could switch off without having to think too much. It ended up being one of the most relaxing stays we’ve had in Bali. The biggest reason for that was the staff. Indonesia is known for its hospitality, and the team here were second to none. Everyone was super friendly, helpful, and genuinely happy to assist with anything we needed. They even surprised us on my wife’s birthday. After breakfast, the staff came over with a cake and sang Happy Birthday to her. I hadn’t mentioned it or asked them to do anything, so it was a really thoughtful gesture that made the day even more special. For most of our stay we were just working, relaxing, and recovering, so we ordered a lot of Grab deliveries instead of going out. Everything from meals to pharmacy items and online orders was delivered to reception. The staff accepted every delivery, labelled it with our name, stored it safely, and let us know as soon as it arrived. It made everything really easy. Another thing we loved was how peaceful the resort was. We’ve stayed in the busier parts of Uluwatu before, and that’s great if you’re after cafes, restaurants, and nightlife. This was the complete opposite. Most times we went to the pool we had it to ourselves, and every visit to the gym felt like having a private gym. If you’re after somewhere quiet to unwind, it’s hard to beat. The only small thing worth mentioning is that the minibar fridge isn’t really designed for storing groceries like milk. The staff even swapped it over for us, and when that didn’t make much difference, they offered to keep our refrigerated items in the restaurant fridge instead. That pretty much sums up the level of service we experienced. We also had breakfast at the hotel a couple of times, and it was exceptional. Overall, if you’re looking for a quiet, comfortable place to stay near Dreamland Beach, we’d happily stay here again.
I did not enjoy my stay here. I feel like this resort ruined my feelings towards resorts in general as well. The rooms looker alright, but the room service is waaaaay too overpriced and the quality was lacking severely. The housekeeping came and went at various times throughout the entire day.. one time even coming in late in the evening. Very weird. The hotel itself is pretty far away from the city, so you really need a car or scooter. Luckily the hotel can help you with this. The reasons for my 2 stars is the nice service for the bike and the breakfast buffet, which was alright. The people were very friendly though!
