We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Watermark Hotel! Everything was exceptional, from the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms to the outstanding service and delicious food. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making our experience even more special. Every detail was perfect, and we truly enjoyed every moment of our stay. Highly recommended! We would definitely love to come back again!
I strongly advise everyone to stay away from this hotel. It was a completely terrible experience and offered zero value for money.
Cleanliness & Maintenance: The hotel is extremely outdated with heavy, partially broken furniture (doors and closets). The rooms were disgustingly full of dust and hair, with visible stains on the sofas and towels. The mattresses are uncomfortable and the bed linens are dirty.
Facilities & Food: A gym was advertised, but in reality, there is only one multi-gym machine, and it is broken and out of order. The food at the restaurant is of very low quality.
Service: While the staff is generally polite, an incident occurred while I was standing near the front desk waiting for my transport. The receptionist rudely snapped at me: "Can you go sit down while you are waiting for your transport?!" Utterly unprofessional behavior.
Location: The area is very dark at night and unpleasant to walk around. It is a completely random residential neighborhood with nothing of interest for tourists.
Bottom Line: A terrible experience. Do not waste your money here.
We had a wonderful time at Watermark. The staff was very welcoming and professional. The room was spacious and very pleasant to stay in. The children enjoyed the pools and the view from the one on the rooftop is amazing. A lot of options for the breakfast buffet and the restaurants. The resort is close to the beach and ideally located. We highly recommend it if you're planning to travel to Bali. It's a gem!
This is my 7th trip to Bali and was part business and part leisure. Tried Watermark for the first time. Check in was great and front desk very kind. Suite room was nice for the price, but definitely needed renovation. The shower didn't work right and was wrongly plumbed to older large bathtub. After first night, housekeeping took old towels, but never brought any new. Didn't notice until out of shower soaking wet. They brought some quickly, but odd they forgot. The bedding was not very nice. It's a very loud location. You'll hear motorcycles all day and night. I might stay again, but only if price is super low. Needs room renovations badly.
I would say it’s very convenient and truly great to know that when a great local food is located right across the hotel with a great location very close to the airport with shuttles to beaches and not really full of noise or pub it equals to great choice of hotel. So this is the hotel that I am talking about it has great people working inside they’re very helpful especially when I check in at night with apparently no available room they try to make it work and we ended up Getting a great deal on a suite for two nights. It’s truly a great experience. What I think could improve would be the variation of breakfast and perhaps also if they can offer free access to other places which would be nice however even if we have to use our own Taxi it doesn’t cost that much to go anywhere because it is pretty centra.
