We had such a relaxing and beautiful stay at this villa. Although it’s very close to the center of Ubud, the area feels peaceful and quiet. Once you step inside, it truly feels like an oasis. The villa is set beside a beautiful river, surrounded by nature, with stunning views and a private bathtub that made the experience even more special. We also loved the spa area by the river it was the perfect place to slow down and fully relax.

A hidden gem in Ubud, tranquil beauty, staffs are always friendly. The have excellent spa treatments. Met Kak Rani as my massage therapist, gentle and relaxing. I was spoiled by every single moment. i had the loveliest stay at Semana! my husband and i decided to make a stopover in Bali after a work trip in Labuan Bajo, and Ubud felt like the right place for a peaceful weekend. initially, i was looking for a room with a private pool looking over a valley but did not find something that fits our budget. then i found Villa Semana Resort. there are no rooms overlooking the valley, but I found that the garden view villa is quite a beautiful alternative with additional coverage from trees & greens for privacy. we absolutely loved our room! it is beautifully designed with traditional interior touched by modern influence. the bathroom has two showers, the first one is indoor and attached to the bathtub (this one has a bit of low pressure), the other one is outside (works all right). the hot water runs just fine. i think the amenities are fine, the hairdryer works well. oh and i love the choice of soap and shampoo (they use Sensatia Botanicals, a local favorite🫶)! the service was also excellent, everyone was very welcoming and friendly. the breakfast was not a buffet style, instead they have a menu we could choose from (western & local choices) which was just nice. we did not eat much from the resort’s restaurant, only for breakfast. overall it was a wonderful stay, not to mention other complimentary services offered like the free 15 mins massage, couple’s photoshoot (30 mins session, free 1 digital photo), and shuttle to Ubud Market. i would love to be back again!

We had the best week at Villa Semana. The staff are beautiful, friendly and always available but not intrusive. The restaurant was exceptional, you will pay more than some other places but the service, atmosphere and food are so worth it. Breakfast was amazing but dinner was incredible. The massages at the spa are also more than you will pay in town but the atmosphere and well trained staff make it well worth trying at least once. We had a small issue with our villa after heavy rain but the staff were amazing and moved us to a new villa quickly. The grounds are beautiful, everything is well kept and so peaceful. It's like a little oasis amoungst the hustle and bustle of Ubud and we would highly recommend a stay here. Suksma to the beautiful staff 🙏.
