Beautiful villa with a great living area that is huge and looks out on to the amazing pool and gorgeous garden

we booked via booking.com and we had a great experience. the staff is VERY kind and they come to clean every day. they change the sheets every 2-3 days i believe so that’s a nice touch. there is 24 hour security so we felt safe. if we needed something, we could just simply message someone or ask the staff and they would help us. the house itself is beautiful and we didn’t have any issues with anything in the house. some things to note: - everything is outside except for the bedrooms so you will be showering with critters. i thought it was kinda cool since i came to bali to connect with nature. - there is VERY loud construction right near the master bedroom. it wakes you right up at 8am and it made it almost impossible to get a good nights sleep if you have a late night out. i knocked off 2 stars for this reason on location. despite the construction, i really didn’t have an issue with the house. i wish i could say that i wasn’t warned prior about it, the owner DID warn us so this is not false advertising or negligence on the owners end. i guess a part of me didn’t think it would be THAT bad. the construction isn’t even the worst part it’s the people working there, they shout and scream and are very loud. for the most part, we made due because we were gone throughout the day but it made it difficult to get a good nights sleep if we went out the night before. thank you villa sahaja! i will come back when it’s a little less noisy ;)

The villa is beautiful and comfortable, with a great location that makes it easy to get anywhere. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Definitely a top recommendation if you’re looking for an apartment or hotel in umalas.

My family and I stayed in Villa #2 for one month Dec-Jan and at first thought it was very comfortable and a nice space. There is construction directly behind the villa from sometimes 6am-7pm when it’s not raining, it is extremely loud and disturbing hearing banging all day long. The wet season has been bad but staff did not maintain our space at all during our stay. The walls were full of mould, my clothes and designer shoes also turned to mould in the wardrobe unfortunately as the bathrooms are outdoors. The rain came through the ceiling and flooded my daughter’s bedroom. The sheets always felt damp as the rooms dont seal very well. Mosquitos are very disturbing as everything is open. The smoke didn’t seem to help. Can’t sit outside without being eaten alive. The cleaners were not up to standard and did the bare minimum. I don’t recommend for long term stay as they completely overcharged me almost $4000 aud and really under deliver on service and cleanliness which is not acceptable for this price. They advertised at a different rate and then added 3mil extra for “high season”. I paid 2mil deposit for electricity bill on top. The owner is a greedy liar and threatened to report us to police if we didn’t give them an extra 1mil for electricity. So 3mil for 1 month electricity which is unheard of in Bali. I have never paid that much. Not impressed with our stay and getting ripped off and poor service.
