The rooms are nice and the renovation feels relatively fresh. Unfortunately, the beach directly in front of the hotel is very dirty. Not only is the sand on the beach dirty, but even the sand directly under the sun loungers is often covered with small pieces of rubbish.
Some of this rubbish, apparently brought in by the tide, can remain there for several days without being removed. It seems that there is not enough staff to regularly clean the beach area and the sand around the loungers. This seriously affects the overall experience and spoils a large part of the stay.
Couldn’t recommend this place more. Location is perfect, the happy hour pizza & cocktail deal is great - and good quality too! Rooms and garden were beautiful also. Special shout out to Erwin who made our time extra special. He helped organise a lot of our activities, and is a very kind and friendly member of their staff - as all the staff were!
This was our third stay at Villa Almarik and once again it was absolutely amazing. The hotel is beautiful, peaceful, and has maybe one of the best beach accesses on the island for snorkeling and seeing turtles right in front of the hotel 🐢
We stayed in the Superior Villa room, which was very clean, spacious, and extremely comfortable. Everything was perfectly maintained and made our stay very relaxing.
The staff are always so welcoming, attentive, and helpful. They truly make you feel at home and are always ready to help with anything you need.
A very special thank you to Pajri, who really made our stay unforgettable this time. His advice about places to visit was excellent, he helped us rent a scooter, and much more. He will definitely be one of the reasons we come back again 😊

5 night stay in the superior rooms was amazing.
Walk straight onto Turtle Point (Bring reef shoes) daily to see fish and turtles. The day beds and service beaching is amazing

We've been staying at this hotel for almost three weeks now. I'd like to thank the staff for their kindness and responsiveness; thanks to you, our vacation was even better. A little about the hotel: the grounds are gated, quiet, and peaceful. We booked an upgraded room, which was great. The hotel provides sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach, which is convenient! We enjoyed the massages at the hotel! There's also a cafe where we often had breakfast and sometimes lunch; the food was good! They offer à la carte breakfast, which is convenient. A pizzeria will be opening soon; I think it should be delicious. Opposite the hotel is wonderful snorkeling—lots of turtles, and if you swim away from the shore, there are corals and lots of fish.
