Impeccable service, very attentive and kind. We stayed in the villa suite, with a private infinity pool, and it has become such a memorable experience! The restaurant Deeva is very tasty, the breakfasts are absolutely amazing. The Kaverti spa has flower baths and massages, we tried the flower bath, Balinese massage and the citrus bath, all were so relaxing!! They also have events, we attended culture night which had traditional dancing. Overall, amenities are 10/10, and the aesthetics and staff are 10/10, would recommend staying here when in Bali! (FYI their shuttle service to city centre is very convenient)

We had an amazing stay at The Udaya! The resort is beautiful, the amenities are excellent, and our room was spacious, comfortable, and impeccably maintained. What truly made our experience special was the incredible staff, everyone was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. A special shoutout to Putu from the restaurant staff, who went above and beyond to make us feel taken care of. His kindness and outstanding service made a lasting impression. We send him and the entire Udaya team all the very best. We would highly recommend this resort and would happily return!
The Udaya Resorts & Spa, Ubud is an exceptional place to stay if you’re looking for luxury, relaxation, and authentic Balinese hospitality. The resort features beautiful villas surrounded by lush greenery, creating a peaceful escape from the busy city. The spa experience is outstanding, with skilled therapists and a serene ambiance that leaves you feeling completely refreshed. The staff are incredibly welcoming, and the food, breakfast, and overall service are excellent. A perfect destination for a relaxing getaway in Ubud and highly recommended for both the stay and spa experience.
Our stay at Udaya Resort was absolutely incredible from beginning to end. Every single member of the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, comfortable, and cared for. Everyone greeted us with genuine smiles, kindness, and hospitality that made us feel at home throughout our entire stay. One thing that truly stood out was how accommodating they were with my husband and i vegan lifestyle. Every day, the chefs prepared delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented vegan meals just for Us. It wasn’t just a simple substitute, they put real thought and care into each meal, and everything was flavorful, satisfying, and made with quality ingredients. It made such a difference knowing I never had to worry about finding something to eat, and I genuinely looked forward to every meal. The cleanliness of the resort was also exceptional. Our room was spotless every day, the bathrooms were immaculate, and the entire property was beautifully maintained. You could tell that the staff takes great pride in keeping everything clean, organized, and inviting. The peaceful atmosphere made it even more relaxing. The resort itself is stunning, with beautiful surroundings that create the perfect place to unwind and enjoy Bali. Whether we were relaxing at the resort or enjoying the amazing service, every experience exceeded our expectations. Thank you to everyone at Udaya Resort for making our vacation so memorable. Your kindness, attention to detail, incredible hospitality, delicious vegan meals, and commitment to cleanliness made this one of the best resort experiences we have ever had. We truly hope to return one day and will gladly recommend Udaya Resort to anyone visiting Bali (especially if you’re vegan/vegetarian).
We booked two rooms here and left underwhelmed. It started at check-in. The service desk insisted my card was a debit card and refused to block the deposit on it, even though it's a credit card I've been using without issue for over a year. Not a great first impression. The rooms are large but not well maintained. Our door had a slight crack, enough that sunlight came through during the day. There are also no curtains between the bathroom, toilet and bedroom, so privacy is limited. Unless you're a couple, anyone in the room can see whoever is bathing or using the toilet. Breakfast was included in our rate, but instead of a buffet you order from a set selection. They say you can place multiple orders, but the catch is you have to finish everything you order. That basically kills any chance of sampling a few dishes to see what you actually like. Dinner was very so-so for the price. The satay was chewy, hard and dry, and the drinks had no taste. The resort is boutique, which sounds charming until you realise it isn't wheelchair friendly at all. Getting to the spa means two flights of stairs, one up to the main reception and another to the therapy rooms. And when we arrived for our massage, the small spa lobby was taken over by an Instagram shoot, a model with a crew of five to seven people and cameras. A spa is meant to be serene, so walking into that as a paying guest felt intrusive and far from relaxing. The bigger problem was the aircon. It stopped working on the second night. I assumed it was just our room, but the second room had the exact same issue. Overall, this place exists beautifully on Instagram. In real life it's an average resort that doesn't quite live up to the photos. For a 4-star resort at close to 9 juta for two rooms over two nights, we expected a bit more than what we got.
