Our stay at The Laguna Resort & Spa Nusa Dua Bali exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel completely at home — everyone we encountered, from the front desk to housekeeping to the restaurant team, was incredibly nice, polite, and friendly. Their genuine warmth and attentiveness made the whole experience feel effortless. The property itself is stunning, with beautifully maintained lagoons, lush tropical gardens, and a peaceful beachfront setting perfect for relaxing. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and every request was handled promptly and with a smile. The dining options were excellent, and the spa was a wonderful way to unwind. It's clear the entire team takes real pride in creating a welcoming environment for guests. We left feeling completely spoiled and can't wait to return. Highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a luxurious yet warm, personal experience in Bali!

The Laguna certainly knows how to make a splash — pun intended. The Laguna, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa in Nusa Dua, is a beautiful resort where the pools and tropical landscaping are really the stars of the show. The whole property feels like a little oasis, with lagoons weaving through the resort and plenty of space to relax. The location is fantastic, with direct beach access while still being close enough to explore Nusa Dua. Service throughout the resort is warm and attentive, and there are plenty of options for food, drinks, spa time, or simply doing absolutely nothing by the water. It has the polish you expect from a luxury resort, but still manages to retain a relaxed Bali atmosphere — equally enjoyable for couples or a family vacation. Pro tip: Take advantage of the lagoon pools rather than automatically heading for the main pool. Find a quieter corner, grab a drink, and enjoy having your own little slice of Bali for a few hours.
I had a wonderful stay at The Laguna, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Nusa Dua, Bali. The resort was extremely comfortable, and the rooms were clean, spacious, and relaxing. The staff were always kind, friendly, and welcoming, making us feel at home throughout our stay. One of the best parts of the resort was the variety of swimming pools. There were plenty of pools to choose from, so it never felt crowded. The private beach was also beautiful, peaceful, and well maintained, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the ocean. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing holiday in Bali.
We had an amazing stay at The Laguna Nusa Dua and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious holiday. The service was outstanding from the very first moment. As soon as our taxi arrived, the staff welcomed us warmly, took care of our luggage, and even checked the car to make sure we hadn’t forgotten anything. The check-in was quick, smooth, and everything was explained clearly. We also appreciated that the hotel did not require a security deposit, although guests who prefer using hotel credit have several flexible options available. As we were celebrating our honeymoon and my 30th birthday, we received a complimentary room upgrade, which we truly appreciated. The room was spacious, extremely comfortable, spotless, and one of the best-maintained hotel rooms we have ever stayed in. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day. The only small issue was a loud ventilation system, probably from the rooftop, which could be heard at night in room 441. After reporting it, the noise disappeared for a while but later returned. Hopefully, the hotel can investigate this. The hotel grounds and pools are beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. We also really enjoyed the food. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, with a strong focus on Asian cuisine. One of the highlights was having breakfast in the beachfront restaurant overlooking the ocean. The view made every morning feel special. We were told this restaurant only opens for breakfast when the hotel is very busy. We honestly think it should become a permanent option because it adds so much to the luxury experience. The hotel has a very peaceful atmosphere, making it perfect for couples and guests looking to relax. However, I probably would not recommend it for families with young children, as there are not many activities available. Finally, the beach area was excellent, with very comfortable sunbeds and a great app that allowed us to order food and drinks directly to our loungers. Overall, The Laguna exceeded our expectations. The exceptional staff, beautiful facilities, excellent food, and relaxing atmosphere made our honeymoon and birthday celebration truly unforgettable. Thank you to the whole team - we would love to come back.
I'd give them zero stars if I could. I am a Marriott member for more than a decade now and have traveled all over the world. This is the worst stay I've had. I usually don’t have time to write reviews, but had to for this one. The staff are trained to be very mercenary, and hospitality goes out the window. I was traveling on business and had a 4 night stay, but my work plans changed, so I had to convert it to a 1 night stay. The front desk lady behaved like checking me in was inconsequential as I was only there for a night and was not going to have breakfast with them. I was made to wait needlessly as she attended to others who came in after me. After checking me in she asked me to wait for the room to be ready. She forgot to ask the staff to get the room ready. I waited for 3 hours eventually to get my room. The problem is the front waiting area is filled with bugs and mosquitos (some that seem to be resistant to repellents). Guests are served a welcome drink, but she didn’t even tell me about it (not that a drink is critical, but her attitude was telling). Before and after checking into the room the staff kept bothering me about anything I wanted to purchase. They just want to push products. The room lights were too dim, there was mold in the bathroom, and the room smelled very musty. It can get very noisy in the night. I was planning to stay with them with my family for a personal trip but changed my mind. There are much better well-lit, spacious, great smelling properties around it. Westin is great with more services, and its seating and pool areas are way better. There's also a spa resort with great massage services. The Hilton properties are good too. Shame on Marriot for such poor service.
