I really love my stay here - even though I've booked only 2 nights but I felt like I've stayed here longer than expected. The upgrade and preparation for my birthday was a huge surprise. The room is spacious and having the plunge pool is a plus! Their rooftop pool is great too and recommended for sun tanning. Thank you Komu team for going above and beyond.
Even though Komu is situated in the heart of Canggu, the place feels private and quiet. They also have partnering deals with Atlas. A small shoutout to also try the Aged beef restaurant nearby.

I stayed at Komu in June and had such a wonderful experience that I came back again for a short trip in July.
The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable. One feature I really appreciated was the guest app, which makes it so easy to communicate with the team without having to call the front desk whenever you need something.
The hotel’s location is also fantastic — it’s conveniently located and made it easy to get everywhere I wanted to go around Canggu.
What truly sets Komu apart, though, is the incredible staff. They remembered me when I returned, which was such a lovely surprise, and even upgraded my room as a returning guest. The first room I was assigned happened to be next to some construction, so I asked if it would be possible to move only if another room was available (I was happy to downsize if needed). Instead, they kindly gave me the same room I had stayed in during my first visit — the one I absolutely loved. It was such a thoughtful gesture.
A special thank you to Sara for accommodating my requests and for her warm hospitality throughout my stay. The entire front desk team was genuinely friendly and welcoming, and those little touches like remembering my name and room number (thank you, Yuma!) made me feel so well looked after.
Another special mention goes to the housekeeping team for always keeping the room spotless, and to the security guards who kindly helped me cross Canggu’s incredibly busy road every day — they definitely made me feel a lot less scared doing it 😂
Komu has consistently made me feel at home, and it’s now my go-to place whenever I’m in Canggu. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with exceptional service.
The room was really spacious and I've booked the one with my own pool, it was lovely. You can even sunbathe at the deck, pool towels are provided. The staff were really friendly and nice. Everything was very convenient to walk to as well. Atlas beach club is just 8 mins walk, Finns club was also nearby. You can take a Gojek to Tanah Lot temple for 30 minutes. I love it so much here, even the rooms gave alot of privacy.
We had an amazing stay at The Komu Canggu. The hotel is modern, stylish, and very well maintained. The room was spacious, comfortable, and exceptionally clean. The bed was super comfortable, and everything we needed was provided.
The staff were genuinely friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The location was perfect, with easy access to great cafés, restaurants, and the beach while still being quiet enough for a relaxing stay.
Thank you to the entire team for your wonderful hospitality. We truly enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again on our next trip to Bali. Highly recommended!
Overall, the location is a great spot if you’re looking to party. It is a bit noisy because Vault is right outside, and the music is loud throughout the night until around 3 AM, especially if your room is nearby.
The service was amazing — everyone was so nice and friendly. The only downside was the cleanliness of the room. Our sheets were changed daily, but on two out of the five days there were stains on the bed sheets. We stayed in the room with the private pool, and unfortunately the pool wasn’t very clean. There was algae growing around the edges that could easily be scraped off with your finger, which is something you’d expect to be cleaned regularly. The shower also had a bit of black mould in the corners, which again could have been easily cleaned. Overall, a great place with excellent staff
