I had such a great stay here. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially the manager, Tami, who made me feel very welcome.
The beautiful pool area and the hotel’s colonial-style design were definite highlights. The rooms were spacious, and the mattresses were extremely comfortable. The location was also amazing — right in the heart of everything, yet the hotel itself was peaceful and quiet, with no noise issues at all.
I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!
We passed the hotel several times in the past. This time I was curious to give it a try. And I was surprised in a very positive way. A very nice hotel with superb staff who is super friendly and attentative. Two pools are nice and quite, good breakfast which is freshly cooked, a nice little fitness center and the possibility of getting very good massages. Every location in Seminyak is easily reachable with a relaxed walk within 10 minutes. There are nice shortcuts, which cannot be used by scooters. So you can be at Seminyak Village with a 5 min walk. I already booked my next stay and can't await to be there again.
We absolutely loved our stay, and next time I’m on the island I will book again! The staff are so wonderful, friendly, helpful and hospitable and the hotel itself is gorgeous and well-furnished as well as aesthetically highly pleasing of course. The food on offer is delicious and a variety is available; we took advantage of the proximity to the beach and other convenient amenities nearby. Definitely in my top accommodations I’ve stayed at so far and would definitely warmly recommend 🤍
Stayed at The Colony Hotel and absolutely loved it. It’s one of those places that gets the balance just right — stylish, calm, and effortlessly welcoming. The pool area is the standout: incredibly relaxing, beautifully kept, and the perfect spot to unwind after a day out. Rooms are spacious, super comfortable, and have that clean, crisp boutique feel.The location is spot on too — easy stroll to local shops, great restaurants, and the beaches are close enough for a quick dip or sunset walk. Everything just works smoothly here.Fantastic stay, amazing atmosphere, and definitely a place I’ll be coming back to.

Her knowledge of Bali, endless recommendations, and genuine desire to ensure every guest has the best possible experience made a huge difference to our stay. She happily shared insider tips on places to visit, restaurants not to miss, and experiences we otherwise would never have discovered.
Her kindness didn't stop there. She even helped us arrange our next hotel after leaving The Colony and managed to secure us a special discount. That level of personal service is exceptionally rare and speaks volumes about both her professionalism and the hotel's commitment to its guests.
If you're looking for a boutique hotel in Seminyak with personality, impeccable service, and an unbeatable location, The Colony Hotel is difficult to fault. It became one of the highlights of our first visit to Bali, and we wouldn't hesitate to return.
