The Alena Resort A Pramana Experience

We had an amazing stay here as part of our honeymoon! Rooms are amazing, we had a spacious villa with private pool and waterfall! We ordered the floating breakfast! Food was phenomenal, Fridays they have BBQ night and live music! We also had a massage and enjoyed the private spa, jacuzzi and sauna! Staff members were very friendly! It is located about 20 minutes from Ubud center! I would recommend Alena if you are planning to spend a few days in Ubud!

Without a doubt, this is the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The resort itself is beautiful, surrounded by lush tropical plants that make it feel like a peaceful oasis. The rooms are spacious, spotless and very comfortable, the pool is fantastic, and the food was outstanding. I especially loved the breakfast, particularly the dragon fruit bowl. Honestly, there was no need to eat anywhere else because the restaurant was excellent. What truly made this place unforgettable, however, was the staff. From the moment I arrived, everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, attentive and genuinely caring. This was my first hotel in Bali, and thanks to them I experienced authentic Balinese hospitality and culture. They always made sure I was comfortable and happy. During my stay I wasn’t feeling well, and the team regularly brought fresh ginger tea to my room. After my massage, one of the therapists even surprised me with a warm ginger milk, which has since become one of my favourite drinks. It was such a thoughtful gesture that I will never forget. A special thank you to Mr. Dewa Suryastawa, Lystia and the entire team for making my stay so memorable. I was also touched that they even checked in with me via WhatsApp after I had left to make sure I had arrived safely. If I ever return to Bali, The Alena Resort will be my first choice without hesitation. Thank you for giving me such a wonderful first impression of Bali and its incredible people. Om Swastyastu.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the royal villa of the Alena Resort. The grounds are lush, beautifully maintained and absolutely stunning. The attention to detail is up there among the best we’ve experienced before and the seamless fusion of local culture and nature is reflected in every aspect of the stay. From the flower petal bath and floating breakfast to the local excursions and yoga sessions, everything was well organised by the hotel. The staff were outstanding – warm, kind, attentive and always happy to help. A special thank you to Dessi for the wonderful welcome and for ensuring that all of our needs were met so effortlessly throughout our stay. Overall, it was a truly beautiful and unforgettable experience. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bali.

We just stayed at Alena and everything was great, but what truly stood out was the way they take care of their guests. The attention to detail was exceptional — from always smiling and greeting us, to even checking that we hadn’t forgotten anything in the Grab. The food was very good, the facilities were excellent, and after a long flight it ended up being the best decision we could have made. Yes, maybe it’s a bit on the pricier side, but it was absolutely worth it. I will recommend this place all the time, and I’ll definitely do my best to come back.
