Pretty good homestay for this price I honestly expected worse but here is just normal. Not very noisy, has hot water, aircon, bed, parking for two cars and dozen of scooters What else should you expect? Fan doesn't work but who needs it when aircon is fine and surprisingly not pointing towards the bed

TL;DR: Smelly and noisy. Don’t be deceived by the reviews; this place is horrible. I love a good value, so when I saw that this place had cheap rooms and a 4.5 rating with 79 reviews on Google I thought I’d hit the jackpot. Well, you know what they say about things being too good to be true… Firstly, the bathroom smelled like sewage. Now, I know people write this all the time, but it REALLY SMELLED LIKE SEWAGE. I guess the tipoff should have been when we walked into the room and the windows and doors were wide open; there was a faint odor, but I desperately wanted the room to be okay, so I ignored it. Caveat emptor, I reckon. The stink might have been tolerable if the bathroom door could be closed, but sadly, it could not. We had to jam a towel into the door frame to try to keep the door closed, but with little effect. One got used to the smell if one was in the room for an extended period, but if one went out and came back in the smell was like a sledgehammer. Oh, and the shower drain was wide open and mosquitoes constantly entered the bathroom. In addition, there was a nonstop cacophony. The hotel is full of long-stay guests, including an Indonesian woman who HAS BEEN STAYING IN A HOTEL ROOM WITH HER SCHNAUZER FOR OVER A YEAR. The woman was nice enough, but whenever she would leave the room the dog would cry and bark nonstop. She would go out for hours during the day and the dog would bark nonstop until she got back. Furthermore, behind the hotel was a stonemason who cut volcanic rocks into decorative bricks for temples and the like. Said stonemason ran a saw or grinder all day long, cutting and polishing bricks. I don’t know, maybe we just got unlucky with the sewage smell. There were about ten units on the property and more than half of these were occupied by draft dodging Russians who had clearly been staying there a LONG time, as evidenced by the furniture and decorations that they had furnished themselves. We all know what cheerful and affable people these Russian emigres are, so their presence only added to the charm of the place. What else? No soap. No toilet paper. No breakfast (duh, obviously). I have scoured my mind for some positives. Here they are: They have a washing machine and plenty of space to hang laundry. The pool is clean. One of the staff does a decent Balinese massage for 100k IDR. There is a communal kitchen, which you will need to make your own coffee and breakfast, since there is no kettle in the room nor breakfast provided. In summary: Don’t stay here. You have been warned.
I love this place. Quite and relaxed bungalow! Pool is clean and what I like the most are the greens around the bungalow 🤩 Rooms are clean. Staff also nice and I am absolutely recommended people to stay here! They have sharing kitchen too! What a great and relaxing place to spending your crowded city life’s.
- Excellent value for money. - Retreat atmosphere. Very quiet place to relax. Not a party place. - Away from the hustle and bustle of the town but still easily accessible by scooter. - Friendly staff. - small pool (not deep but sufficient) - hot water
We had a wonderful stay, I truly enjoyed my time here. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and Made made breakfast for us in the morning even when she had many ceremonies to attend to that day. She is very sweet and kind. The place itself was super clean and very comfortable. AC was great and hot water is always a bonus! The gardens were peaceful and theres kitchen if you need to cook. It is quiet and secure as someone is there 24/7. The prices are very reasonable. We would definitely come back again, thank you!
