Where to begin.. From the moment we were greeted at the airport, to the personalised welcome on arrival, Soori in Tabanan, Bali, is an oasis of elegance, calm and a masterclass in care. Our goal was a week of relaxation and warm air. We were lucky enough to experience a spacious villa overlooking working rice fields with spectacular sunrises behind the distant volcano; as well, an Ocean beach view villa with expansive views of the Indian ocean and the gorgeous display as the sun set behind the crashing waves onto sparkling black volcanic sand. Francesca and Benoit are consummate hosts, regularly and genuinely 'checking in' to ensure all is well. The rooms are spacious and considered with special personal touches throughout. Food options include: Western a la carte, Asian a la Carte as well, a fun Tepanyaki experience on a hill with magnificent coastal views. The entire staff contribute to the beautiful feeling that is Soori. We thank them all, sincerely for their work and care, always with a smile. We feel refreshed and look forward to returning again one day.

Location is a bit far from major attraction area. Resort is amazing and very secluded but very modern. Service is top notch, even remember what I'm allergic to, when I forgot to remind them. Service definitely is A++. Had butler services during stay. Food on site is good but very expensive. If you stay here, make sure you arrange some kind of car/driver, because Grab will not come; you can also have the hotel arranged cool drivers to take you to and fro. Amazing resort. Attended my son's wedding.
My Wife and I have just returned to Sydney after a wonderful 4 night stay at Soori. It had been 7 years since our last stay and we hoped that we would not be disappointed given the passing of time. Our fears were unfounded as this is a resort that has managed to age like a fine bottle of wine. The service was hard to describe in as much as it is simply faultless. To say nothing was too much trouble is the understatement of the century. Every single member of staff from the charming Benoit who was acting resort manager ably assisted by the equally charming and efficient Francesca were simply fabulous and I would love to name every single one of them. The rooms (we stayed both Beachfront and in the Mountain view) were immaculate and beautifully appointed. The gym and spa were first class. All of the restaurants were delightful with great beach views and of course superb service and food but the highlight is a night at the Teppanyaki restaurant right on the elevated point looking back over the beach and the entire resort. Simply breathtaking. A simply fabulous Bali resort.
Francesca exemplifies what exceptional hospitality truly means. From the moment we arrived, she approached every interaction with genuine warmth, attentiveness, and an unmistakable sense of care for my family’s experience. She went above and beyond—thoughtfully researching recommendations tailored to our interests and flawlessly coordinating a birthday celebration that felt both personal and unforgettable. What stood out most was her empathy and intuition; she anticipated our needs before we even voiced them, ensuring every detail was handled with grace and precision. Francesca’s dedication transformed our vacation into a deeply memorable and seamless experience. Her professionalism, paired with heartfelt sincerity, is a rare combination. Any organization would be fortunate to have her, and we are truly grateful to have crossed paths with someone so committed to creating meaningful guest experiences.
After staying at a number of places in Bali, I felt compelled to leave a review, which I rarely do. Soori Bali delivered an outstanding experience from start to finish, calm, refined, and high end low key in all the right ways. The muted design creates an immediate sense of ease, and views are exceptional. As there are generally no private beaches in Bali and certain areas can get quite crowded, we especially appreciated being able to enjoy the beach for walks by ourselves both mornings and evenings. Do not miss the little temple nearby at sunset. The helipad is another major plus, whether for a scenic flight over Uluwatu and Nusa Penida or simply to cut through the Raya Canggu traffic from the airport if you are only in Bali for a short stay. Food was elaborate, the spa discreet and excellent, and the oceanfront villas unmatched. A rare hideaway from the busier parts of the island.
