The hotel is like a classic car - value over time, older Bali style and charm. Fantastic staff! Superb breakfast. My junior suite facing the pool was huge and very comfortable. Really enjoyed it. The beach is nice but not very big and tide does affect it. Really nice pool and pond garden.

Excellent family stay with an unexpected upgrade and amazing staff! We stayed at Sol Benoa Bali with our family, including three adult children, and had an excellent experience. We arrived exhausted after a busy few days of touring, and the hotel kindly offered us a room upgrade upon arrival, which was a wonderful surprise. The food was great, the cleanliness was spot on, and we thoroughly enjoyed both the pool and the beach. A special mention to Dwiki, Padma, and the entire team, who are incredibly attentive to all guests. It was the perfect place to relax. Highly recommended!
Overall. Hotel loacated in the pure Hotel area of Bali, had it best times quite a while ago and can not compete with the other 5 star hotels in the area - it was much cheaper though. The good: Great pool area with a nice pool bar and a good beach with comfortable sun beds in front of a well managed garden area. Very nice personell (in particular nice to our kids. They played hours of table tennis with them) and a lot of things to do (table tennis, boccia, soccer, volleyball) The bad: Rooms are ok but far from modern. Try to get a garden view as we had to look on the ugly road on the backside. What we really did not like was the fact that the beach restaurant only served an totally overpriced and not good buffet for lunch and dinner. For à la carte or snacks you had to go to the restaurant at the reception away from the beach/pool area. Also in the evening they closed everything at 10 pm so instead of enjoying the beach and sea for a drink you had to go to the very basic bar at the reception. Strong recommendation to the hotel enable food and drinks at the beach (and also a seconds coffee machine, as unsurprisingly all people had to wait very long in a queue in front of the only very old machine needing 2-3 minutes to prepare one coffee) Overall: For us it was a good start into Bali close to the airport after a long flight and for a few days at a fair price. Would I visit again? No. Nusa Dua is a pure tourist area, nothing authentic. There are many nicer places we visited during our 3 week trip across Bali and adjacent island.
Wonderful hotel with one issue. We enjoyed our stay at this place, we have chosen just the breakfast as we like to dine out and try different things. Pros: - Super friendly and always smiling staff, literally everyone were super nice - receptionists, waitresses also the guards at the main entrance. - Rooms are quite big, clean with a fresh water supply every day. - Beautiful beach, cool swimming pool. - Hotel itself is a very Balinese style - almost like from a movie. - Nice breakfast where everyone can find something, even though every day they were quite similar. - Awesome location - everything you need is around, including plenty of restaurants. Cons: - My main concern - availability of sunbeds. We were at the peak season and almost every day we had a problem to find a free sunbed, however it is not the lack of it, but the thing that hotel allows people to reserve them with towels... So at early morning most sunbeds are already "reserved" with a towel. That class of a hotel should not allow that. This is the main reason why I am scoring 4 stars. - My room was facing a backyard where there was absolutely no view and quite a bed smell - but that might be caused by me reserving at the very last moment and most likely one of last rooms.
We had a 14-day all-inclusive vacation at this hotel and couldn't have been happier with our stay. Our room was very spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable throughout our holiday. The entire hotel complex was beautifully maintained and everything was always clean and well cared for. The staff were always friendly, polite and eager to help with a smile. The food was delicious every day, with a great variety of dishes, so there was always something new to enjoy. A special highlight for us was the Juice Corner on the beach, where we enjoyed a fantastic selection of fresh juices every day. We did have a small issue during check-out, but the manager, Mr. Dwiki, was very understanding and kindly accommodated our request. We truly appreciated that. Thank you! We had a wonderful, relaxing holiday. We would highly recommend this hotel!
