Segening Villa

We stayed at The Sebali Resort for the first part of our honeymoon and truly could not have chosen a better place to stay. The staff were so kind and attentive, and made sure that we had everything we needed at all times. Each time that we left the hotel, they made sure that we had transportation arrangements and offered to make them for us if we did not. They also used each time we were away as an opportunity to refresh the room for us. They provided breakfast in our room each morning and even though the breakfast was included in the stay, they gave us an abundance of food! The resort itself was so clean, beautiful, and well-kept. Coming from America, our two main concerns with traveling to Bali were the water and the bugs. The staff provided us with plenty of bottled water each day and used bottled water/ice for all of the food and drinks they served. They also provided bug spray, which smelled amazing, and we didn’t see a single mosquito on the resort property! We were so happy with our stay at The Sebali Resort and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a place to stay near Ubud!

No words to describe the people!!!! We were treated like family...all the staff is super nice ...they will help you in any case...even if you need laundry I suggest you to do it in the hotel...my cloths smell freshness!!! We tried the restaurant also and the food was super tasteful...as for the breakfast you can choose everyday different food and is served a la carte...spa is absolutely an unforgettable experience...as for our villa I can say it is nice like lots in Ubud and Bali normally...but the staff is what I will never forget...going back to Yunani

I stayed for 3 nights at Sebali Resort, and it was an amazing experience in every way. I stayed in the One-Bedroom Presidential Villa, and swimming in a heated pool surrounded by the heart of the jungle truly felt like a dream come true. The villa was beautiful, private, and peaceful, with an incredible atmosphere that made the stay very special. The staff were extremely helpful, polite, and friendly, always making sure we had everything we needed and making us feel very welcome. The food was also excellent, with a great selection and delicious flavors. Every meal was enjoyable and added to the overall experience. I will definitely visit Sebali Resort again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious, and unforgettable stay in Bali. Note: you are in the jungle, you may see some harmless bugs, keep your room doors closed like me, I didn’t face any issues.

Avoid this resort — misleading room categories and a disappointing experience Review We booked and paid a premium for a Valley Room specifically because we wanted the experience advertised by the resort: staying in Ubud while looking out over the jungle and valley. Instead, we were placed in a lower-positioned room facing the river. After questioning the situation, we discovered that the resort apparently does not have genuine valley-facing rooms. The rooms seem to face the river, with the main difference being whether they are positioned higher or lower. Despite this, the resort presents them as different room categories and charges guests accordingly. This is extremely misleading and should be explained clearly before booking. The resort eventually changed our room, but this did not resolve the fundamental issue: we had paid extra for a Valley Room and did not receive what we had booked. The set dinner offered as compensation was also extremely disappointing and felt like an inadequate afterthought rather than a genuine gesture of hospitality. If you are looking for a true Ubud experience, surrounded by jungle and enjoying an authentic valley view, this is definitely not the resort you should choose. The room descriptions cannot be trusted, and the way our complaint was handled made an already disappointing stay even worse. Our strong advice is to avoid this resort. Do not pay extra for a “Valley Room,” and do not book unless you receive precise written confirmation of the exact room location and view. There are far better places in Ubud where the accommodation is presented honestly and the guest experience is treated with greater care.
