The staff were extremely friendly and helpful — whenever we had a problem, they solved it within 10 minutes. When we went on day trips, they prepared breakfast for us to take away. We ordered our breakfasts the day before, and in the morning they came to the villa to prepare everything fresh. The villa was very clean, although it could use a bit of renovation. The massages we ordered to the villa were excellent and also cheaper than those offered nearby. The location is great too — close to restaurants and in a quiet, pleasant area. Overall, the staff are absolutely amazing and made our stay truly enjoyable!

We stayed at Sandi Agung twice: in June 2022 and October 2024.
I’ll start with the positives: the staff are very friendly and helpful, the location is great, the villas are clean, and the outdoor pool and sofas are lovely. The beautiful private pool and surrounding garden is the highlight for sure.
Unfortunately there are some negatives. The bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen are desperately overdue for renovations. There are obvious signs of wear and tear everywhere, and the bedrooms and bathrooms are starting to look shabby. The bedroom doors are janky and have little gaps in them that let in heat and mosquitoes. The air conditioning unit in our second bedroom was noisy and rattled non-stop. Thankfully, there were only two of us so we didn’t use the second bedroom much.
The TVs are small, and it’s frustrating that they don’t have access to streaming services and youtube.
In our opinion, the mattresses are hard and uncomfortable to sleep on (however, we prefer softer mattresses and acknowledge that this comes down to personal preference).
The breakfast ranges from average to bad - after a few days, we chose to go out for breakfast instead of having it at the villa.
I probably wouldn’t stay at Sandi Agung again unless they complete renovations.
It’s a shame because this hotel has a lot of potential, and could easily be great if they made some improvements.
A really good hotel in Denpasar. It is located further from the city centre. This makes the villa more quiet, but still, it isn't very far away from popular attractions and touristic sites like Tanah Lot, but you can encounter traffic jams. The villa itself is clean and well-maintained. You also have a kitchen and a private pool inside. The hotel also offers a massage, which was fantastic. The staff also comes to your room to cook breakfast for you, which makes you feel exceptional. I would recommend this villas and I look forward to staying here if I come to Bali for another time.
We've been staying at these villas for the past 7 years. The villas are the perfect home away from home. Beautifully appointed and equipped with everything you need. Immaculately cleaned and maintained. The staff are superb. They go above and beyond and nothing is too much trouble. The location is fantastic, easy walk to lots of great restaurants and bars. If you stay here once, you'll never stay anywhere else in Bali. Sandi Agung has it all. We love it there.
