As a first time visitor to Bali we were recommended to choose a reputable hotel and Nusa Dua/Benoa area was suggested. We googled and kept coming back to Sadara and made this choice. What a perfect one for two mature ladies travelling together. Great bedrooms, super aircon and hospitality was tops. Staff always enquiring after our well being. Music offered some nights was special. Close to a supermarket with the best beaches nearby. The food here very special with a swim up pool bar serving many specials like happy hour 3 drink special. Our farewell message saying We will miss you written in leaves and flower petals a lovely final touch. Thank you and we will be back. I have already spread the word to friends keen to visit Bali. Thank you for the best holiday ever. Leigh Goldschmidt from Cape Town South Africa.

Beautiful hotel, but a serious safety scare with almost no follow-up The rooms at The Sarada are genuinely lovely, some of the most spacious we've stayed in, and the restaurant food was excellent. On looks and amenities alone, this place is a real standout. But on our first morning, the roof in our room collapsed while we were still in it. We got out just in time. It's hard to put into words how frightening it is to go from asleep to running for your lives in a matter of seconds. What made it worse was what happened after: no one from management or staff came to check on us. No room upgrade, no spa treatment, no restaurant voucher, no contact at all. We had three rooms booked with friends, all paid in full and happy to be there. At checkout, all we asked for was some goodwill toward our restaurant and bar tab. We were offered a 10% discount, on a bill that already carries a 21% tax and service charge, so in real terms we were barely offered anything. We loved the property itself, but an incident like this deserves a genuine response, not a token gesture. Hard to recommend without real reservations after how it was handled.
We stayed at the Sadara Resort for 4 nights recently and really enjoyed our second stay- the first back in 2023. We really liked the position of our room (#111) that was near the restaurant and also the pool area. I am a Senior Citizen and appreciated being close to the main facilities. The hotel is quite compact so getting around was not a problem. My main criticism of the room we had was the tinted glass that made the room quite dark in spite of the sunny weather outside, which was a bit depressing. The positioning of the desk is a bit strange too as it is right in front of the TV screen. There is only a stool to sit on, not a proper chair with a back, which is a bit of a problem for people like myself, Senior Citizens and Persons with Disabilities (PWDs). It really was not very comfortable sitting at the desk using my laptop. Luckily there were ample outlets for all our devices, much appreciated. The furnishings are okay but not particularly attractive. There is also no art on the wall that tells me that I am in Bali- a pity as there is so much wonderfully colorful local art that would look so nice in the hotel rooms. The hotel should also install a railing on the main steps at the front of the hotel that lead to the lobby- they are really quite hard to manage for people with mobility issues who need the support of a railing while going up and down steps. From what I can see, this is a very common problem in Bali where very few hotels have railings to help Seniors and PWDs. We loved Santai restaurant at the Sadara- the breakfasts were all wonderful. I really like that they don't offer a buffet breakfast, but you order from the a la carte menu with things like juice, fresh fruits, breads and pastries, and coffee included. The restaurant also does a Balinese afternoon tea which we really enjoyed, but it would be nice if guests could sit in the main restaurant rather than in the claustrophic little room up the stairs next to the kitchen- a weird choice of venue. The restaurant is not busy at 3 o'clock so there is no real reason they shouldn't offer the tea there- we ended up sitting there on our second day as I have problems with stairs, so they let me sit in the large ground floor restaurant. The service at Santai is wonderful- the staff are both friendly and efficient and they help make breakfast a total pleasure. We really like the pool at the Sadara. It has steps and a sturdy railing, both of which are necessary for people like myself with mobility problems. The water temperature was great and the pool is quite large, but surprisingly it didn't seem to be used as much as I thought it would be given how nice it is. We loved having Sukun restaurant in the Amnaya Hotel just across the street- it has to be one of Bali's best restaurants- we had wonderful dinners there and also in the branch at the Amnaya Hotel in Kuta where the decor is gorgeous. We tried both The Tree Pub and Coco's Bistro which were both okay but not great- we should have gone back to Sukun for all our dinners! If you are thinking of a holiday in Bali and want to stay in the Tanjung Benoa area, you should consider the Sadara Resort. Its compact nature, its great restaurant and pool, and its charming staff all make a stay at the Sadara a really memorable experience.
My friends and I stayed at Sadara Resort for four nights in June and it absolutely surpassed our expectations. We chose it because it felt smaller, more boutique and had a more authentic Balinese feel than many of the larger resorts in Nusa Dua, and it did not disappoint. The resort is so peaceful, the rooms are beautiful, and the staff were so lovely, even remembering me by name after just one day. The beachfront location is beautiful, the pool is perfect, and breakfast was excellent every morning. The spa was amazing and I had one of the best massages with Ari. Special mention to Dewi and Eka, who made our stay. Don’t be put off by photos of the beach at low tide - it doesn’t look like that for most of the day. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again. Suksma 🙏
Really nice hotel and great value for money. The location is excellent in Nusa Dua, with plenty of water sports activities nearby. The room included breakfast was fantastic and included tea or coffee, fresh juice, a fruit bowl, pastries, and a main meal from the menu. The food at the hotel was delicious, with generous portions and quick service. The resort has a very calm and relaxing atmosphere. The room matched the photos, the bed was huge and comfortable, and the pool was great. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service throughout our stay. The only downsides were that the breakfast and restaurant menus had limited options, which became noticeable during our three-night stay. Also, our room did not have an electric kettle even though it was listed on Booking.com, but this was not a major issue for us. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend this hotel for its value, location, food, and excellent service.
