I stayed at Ramayana Candidasa Beach Resort for one night and had a really pleasant stay. I was in the Junior Suite, which was spacious and comfortable, with a nice balcony overlooking the ocean.
The resort also has quite a few facilities, including a swimming pool, spa, gym, restaurant, Kids Club, and a tropical garden. I grabbed dinner and breakfast at Garpu Restaurant, and the ocean view was definitely a nice touch.
What I appreciated most was the hospitality. The staff were friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout my stay, which made the whole experience feel easy and comfortable.
The breakfast was good, great selection but not over the top. Get in early for beachside seating just be careful on the high tide, windy days. There's a little ocean splash that might interrupt your meal.
Staff are really helpful and friendly.
Room was large and accommodating but the bathroom was a bit pokey. Not a lot of bench space. But functional.
Nice enough pool, enough seats.
Close to town for a good walk, but there's the free shuttle. Taxi's only cost IDR 50000 anyway.

The beach walk WILL be good when it's done, it will happen, just a question of when.
Had a really nice stay at Ramayana Candidasa! Such a nice place for a family trip — quiet, relaxing, and lots to do around the resort.
We really enjoyed the movie night under the stars. Such a simple thing, but it made the evening feel special. We also rented bikes and cycled around the resort, which was really fun.
We were also lucky to get upgraded to a Suite, which was a lovely surprise and made the stay even more comfortable.
The food was good too, especially the Nasi Goreng Kampung — definitely a must-try!
Overall, we had a great time and would definitely come back. ❤️
Had originally booked the premiere ocean suite but said it was booked or getting work done on it so took a 'downgrade' to a Jr suite with breakfast included to compensate as id paid online. The downgrade makes me wonder what how nice the premiere suite is because the Jr suite is perfect !
The breakfast is a big variety buffet and choice of eggs to go with.
The afternoon tea (free) I think maybe leftovers from breakfast made in to sammys, cakes, biscuits, fruit, bali coffee and teas.
The sate chicken skewers are really good. Like reeeeally good. The nasi goreng nice too. The bolognaise is average, but id have it again. The bases of the pizzas weren't the greatest, kinda cardboardey, but tasty topping. The orange souffle pancake dessert was delicious. The mango sticky rice I havent had it before to compare it to anything (but it was a bit bland for me)
The pool area and restaurant are beautiful, the grounds are really well taken care of, the view of the ocean and the hills as like bali postcards.
There is some construction going out in front along the beach, I believe for 6km maybe, so im looking forward to coming back here to see how it turns out.
The construction has not impacted our stay, we made the most of the pool which was fine with us.
We had a wonderful stay at Ramayana Candidasa Beach Resort and would happily return if we ever get the chance to visit Bali again.
Our trip didn’t start as planned because we had some issues with our previous villa in Sanur, but Oki, the hotel manager, went above and beyond to help us. He kindly assisted us with arranging an earlier booking and even organized transportation to pick up my family and me from the villa. That level of care and flexibility made a huge difference for us.
In the end, we stayed for 6 amazing nights. The resort itself is beautiful, with a lovely beachfront location in Candidasa, comfortable rooms, and plenty of amenities that made our stay relaxing and enjoyable.
What truly made the experience special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly attentive, warm, and welcoming. They were especially kind to my little daughter, who was always happy to be surrounded by so many friendly faces at the hotel.
I’d also like to mention the hotel drivers, who were very nice and polite during the pick-up before our arrival in Candidasa and later during our drop-off at Bali’s international airport. Everything was smooth and well organized.
Overall, it was a fantastic stay thanks to the amazing team at the resort. We are very grateful for their hospitality and would strongly love to come back someday.
