Raffles Bali

Our stay at Raffles Bali was truly memorable from beginning to end. The panoramic pool villa was beautiful, with an amazing ocean view, and the entire resort felt peaceful and private. We especially enjoyed the dining experiences at Rumari and Loloan, as well as simply relaxing and spending time in our villa. What impressed us most, however, was the warm and attentive service. Our butler, Indri, took great care of us and was always kind, responsive, and thoughtful throughout our stay. She helped make everything easy and comfortable, from arranging our activities and transportation to assisting us with our requests. We would especially like to thank Indri for making our stay feel so personal and welcoming. We also greatly appreciated the complimentary upgrade to a Panoramic Pool Villa as an ALL Platinum member and the generous late check-out on our departure day, which allowed us to enjoy the resort until the very end. Raffles Bali was a wonderful way to finish our Bali trip, and it is a place we would love to return to when we visit Bali again. We are coming to the end of a four-night stay at Raffles Bali in Jimbaran, and the experience was carried, from arrival to departure, by a butler team that anticipated rather than reacted. Buggy transfers around the resort were seamless and never left us waiting, restaurant and spa reservations were arranged the moment we asked, and personal preferences, from bathrobe sizes to in-villa comforts, were remembered without our having to repeat ourselves. The service was warm and personal in a way that is rare even at this tier. The villa lived up to the billing, It was beautifully appointed, completely private, and opened onto a killer view over Jimbaran Bay that we did not tire of once across the whole stay. The food was a highlight throughout, from breakfast through to dinner, and the kitchen handled a no-ginger, no-chilli allergy reliably at every single meal. If there is one area with room to improve, it is housekeeping consistency. The outdoor bale and gazebo seating needed flagging more than once before it was properly cleaned, and the daily turndown, lovely as it is, varied a little from night to night; this evening the lemongrass tea arrived but the accompanying sweet was missing. A few small touches would lift things further still, such as tidying and fastening the tangled cabling around the villa, which the better properties, the St Regis and the Oberoi among them, handle neatly with cable ties. None of that took the shine off a memorable holiday. The butler service, the villa, and the food more than earn the score, and we would happily return.

We had our wedding at Raffles Bali, and also stayed a few nights at the hotel. It was an amazing experience and we couldn't be more satisfied with the entire experience. Special shout out to Sila (our in-house butler) for providing the best service we have ever experienced from a luxury hotel. He took care of not just us, but out immediate family too. Throughout our entire stay, he was attentive, responsive, always willing to take the initiative, go the extra mile and think of solutions to problems we had not thought of. Some small examples include asking the engineering team to bypass the air conditioning temperature limit for the room (to accommodate a large number of guests during the tea ceremony), decorating the room during our wedding night, and preparing thoughtful departure gifts. We have nothing but praise for him, and strongly hope he can be recognized for his outstanding level of client service and go far in his career at Raffles. The breakfast at the hotel at Rumari restaurant was fantastic, and we were served by Dika and Lani who were great. Lastly, we encountered challenges during the wedding process, usually due to miscommunication or expectation misalignment. Huge credit to Bernadine and Debby for being willing to listen to our feedback, take it constructively, and make the necessary adjustments to ensure our overall stay and experience was nothing but the best. We will definitely be back!

We recently spent two wonderful nights at Raffles Bali, and from our very first interaction it was clear this would be a special stay. The entire team, led with such warmth and professionalism, made us feel genuinely cared for from start to finish. We were celebrating our son’s 9th birthday, and they went out of their way to make it memorable, surprising him with a beautifully decorated room, fresh flowers, and a birthday cake that delighted the whole family. The standout of our stay was, without question, the service. Our butler, Seva, was exceptional from beginning to end. From the pre-arrival planning right through to our departure, every activity was thoughtfully and seamlessly arranged around our preferences. Nothing was too much trouble, and his attention to detail made the entire experience effortless. The wider team matched that standard at every turn. The staff running the children’s activities were wonderful with our son, and dining at both Rumari and Loloan was a genuine pleasure, with professional, attentive service across both days. We were especially well looked after by Imelda on our second day, who served us with real warmth and a constant smile. Raffles Bali is an exceptional property in every respect, but the highlight will always be the people. Our sincere thanks to GM Henri and the entire team for caring for guests as though we were extended family. We cannot wait to return.
