I stayed at Puri Naga for 3 days and 2 nights, and overall I was a satisfied customer.
The property has an older building style and architecture, which honestly gives the place its own charm and character. It feels a bit nostalgic compared to newer hotels around the area.
What I liked the most was the room—it was spacious, comfortable, and easy to settle into. The atmosphere around the property was also surprisingly quiet and peaceful, both during the day and at night, even though it’s located on the main street and only a few meters from the beach. That balance between accessibility and calmness made the stay really enjoyable for me.
They also have a swimming pool, although I personally didn’t get the chance to try it during my stay. I did try the breakfast—it was fairly standard overall, but the fruits were fresh and genuinely delicious, which I appreciated.
The bathroom, however, definitely needs some fixing and maintenance, especially around the sink and the sewage/drainage area. It wasn’t a dealbreaker, but it’s something the property should pay more attention to.
Aside from that, I genuinely enjoyed staying here and would consider coming back again for the location, comfort, and peaceful vibe.
Very bad experience at Puri Naga Cottage & Hotel, Legian Bali.
The room was not clean and we found insects inside, including bugs on the curtains. It felt unsafe to stay there.
The staff were not helpful and did not care about our complaints. Because of this, we left the hotel the same night.
We paid 1000 AED, but the hotel refused to give any refund. Agoda also could not help because the hotel rejected the request.
I do not recommend this hotel at all.
Rooms adequate. Shower taps are corrode with very little water pressure. Water from taps are brown with sediment. Staff non existent on arrival. Electric socket dodgy and tv is ancient. Very disappointing. We moved the very next day. Would not recommend.
For what I paid this place was fantastic!!!
This place is old ( that it had a old school bottle opener attachment in the wall ) and a little run down but right by the beach and close to everything.
The shower could use a little upgrade but other than that room was huge and clean and air con was new and cold.

We stayed here two months ago and were very disappointed. The hotel is run-down, with broken tiles in the pool and furniture in the room that has seen much better days. The staff seemed to take complaints as a joke rather than addressing them. There was noticeable mould, and the room had a strong mildew smell. Overall, not a pleasant experience.
