Novotel Lombok Resort And Villas

Very disappointing stay at Novotel Lombok Resort & Villas Kuta. At first arrival it looks very local and charming, nice Asian vibe with the thatched roofs, I really liked that. But once we checked in to our room - we booked the Presidential Room - what a shock. The room was extremely old, poor and in desperate need of renovation. I really felt uncomfortable staying there for 4 nights with my two daughters. It looked nothing like the photos online, I felt misled. During our stay we had daily problems with the AC, it was leaking water in the room. They came to fix it every day but the leak kept coming back. I went back to reception and spoke to the manager, I was even willing to pay more for another/better room, but according to him nothing was available. He told me the hotel is 30 years old. He couldn't do anything for us. I quickly looked for other options around Kuta Lombok but unfortunately nothing was available. We ended up staying there but were out all day and only came back to sleep - which was a nightmare. Breakfast was also very poor. Not recommended at all. P.S. I have an ALL Accor account but never received an invitation to leave a review on Accor, so I am posting my experience here because I think future guests should know.

Exceptional hotel in front of a great beach! Private villas are astonishing, blending with nature with harmony! Feels like staying in a super luxury Flintstone village 😅. Staff are very professional and friendly, making your stay even more comfortable! Restaurant food doesn't have that many options as I would wish but everything was really tasty and well cooked. Thank you for making my stay so great and I will choose Novotel Lombok again for sure in my next visit to your beautiful island. Terima kasih!😎

had a great stay here. the hotel isn't as modern as its neighbor but i think it adds to the charm. great design all around, really nice private beach. a bit secluded but nice if looking for a quieter place, perfect for families

Upon arriving at Novotel Lombok, I felt the unique warmth of the traditional Sasak style everywhere. The receptionist informed us that our rooms had been upgraded to two private villas. I was genuinely surprised, as this was the first time I had ever received a room upgrade! She thoughtfully arranged our villas next to each other so I could easily check on my daughters. Both the check-in and check-out processes were a breeze. She also shared some great restaurant options in the Kuta area. As for the rooms, I’d like to note how spacious the bathrooms were, and the patio lounger was a lovely extra touch. If possible, could you please provide a pillow menu (with soft and firm options) for guests to choose from? On the second day of our stay, the hotel sent a surprise, a wonderful slice of cake with a happy anniversary note on the plate! how thoughtful of them🩷 The restaurant and the beach were just an easy walk from our room. The food was great—during our three-night stay, we tried almost everything on the menu! If possible, could you also add one more coffee machine? Most of the guests drink coffee, and the beans run out very quickly in the single machine that offers a cappuccino option. Overall, Novotel Lombok is now one of my favorite Accor hotels because you tick all the boxes for a family stay. I have previously stayed at Sofitel Bali, Pullman Ciawi, and Mercure Kuta. While each has its own distinct charm, I surprisingly liked the Sasak style the most ☺️. Thank you, Novotel Lombok—I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends!
