Mamaka Bali

Fantastic service and location in Kuta, right across from the beach with an incredible roof top bar and pool area which is a standout. Beach and sunset views are unrivalled and priceless. Nothing was a problem for any of the staff from start to finish. Can not fault and highly recommended.

This is not a 5-star hotel by any stretch of the imagination. We booked Mamaka based on its online reviews, but our experience was completely different. From the moment we checked in, the hallways had an unbearable smell and appeared dirty and poorly maintained. The bathroom had visible mold in multiple areas, which is simply unacceptable for a hotel that advertises itself as a premium property. Overall, the hotel felt unclean and neglected. We were genuinely disappointed, especially considering the price and the expectations created by the reviews. The only real advantage is the location on Kuta Beach. If you’re on a tight budget and only care about being close to the beach, it may work for you. Otherwise, I would strongly recommend staying elsewhere. There are far better hotels in Bali that offer a much cleaner and more enjoyable experience.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was excellent from the moment we arrived. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options, and the service was outstanding. A special thanks to Anom for being so kind, helpful, and professional throughout our stay. His hospitality truly made our experience even better. The location is also perfect—it’s close to the beach, surrounded by great massage services, restaurants, convenience stores, and everything you might need is just a short walk away. Highly recommended, and I would definitely stay here again!

I had a wonderful stay at Mamaka by Ovolo. The hotel was very clean, and its location is unbeatable—right in front of Kuta Beach, making it perfect for enjoying the ocean and sunsets. What impressed me most was the friendly and professional service. The staff treated everyone equally and warmly, regardless of whether they were local or international guests, which made me feel very welcome. The value for money was excellent. What I received definitely matched the price I paid. I also loved that breakfast was served à la carte rather than as a buffet. The food quality was noticeably better, with freshly prepared dishes and great variety. Another highlight was the beautiful rooftop bar. The atmosphere was amazing, and it was the perfect place to watch the sunset while enjoying drinks and the stunning beach view. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and will definitely keep coming back whenever I visit Bali. Highly recommended! 🌅✨
