Do yourself a favor and do not trust this resort. The photos online show a nice place, but the reality is a dump. Severe mold on the walls, cracks everywhere, and zero hygiene. We found dead bugs and human toenails in the room and had to check out within 10 minutes of arriving. The staff was polite at checkout and promised an immediate refund, but they are completely ghosting us now. Shocking behavior and terrible customer service.
Do not book this place! This was supposed to be our honeymoon, but we had to flee the property after just 10 minutes. The room was absolutely disgusting and completely different from the pictures. There was severe mold on the walls, peeling paint, and huge cracks. To make it worse, the cleanliness was non-existent: we found dead insects and even old human toenails left on the floor. It is a massive health hazard. When we checked out immediately, the staff promised a full refund, but now they are dodging our messages and refusing to confirm it to Booking.com. Utterly unprofessional and deceptive!
I had a one night stay at Kubu GWK Resort. It felt like home since the room is designed with wooden walls. It provides a big double bed, in-room TV, AC, fridge, hair dryer, and many more. I felt comfortable sleeping my night away in the room. The receptionist and staff there were so helpful and accomodating too. I asked help for few things regarding my room and they responded so quickly and lent a helping hand.
Our room was dirty and we had cockroaches, a frog in the room, and a lot of big ants. The pool was also dirty. In the bathroom, water was dripping from the ceiling, and there were also many bugs. They advertise high-speed internet, but the Wi-Fi was very poor and unreliable. We left the same day because we did not feel comfortable staying there. We have been in Bali for the past two months and never had an issue anywhere else, but this place is not at all as described.
The staff was very friendly and we asked if we could get a refund because we did not use the room. Unfortunately, now we are being ignored, and it is disappointing that there is not even an attempt to meet us halfway or offer any solution.
I really can’t recommend this place.
Hot water availability is problem,
They have big jacuzzi but only 20L hot water and u need to wait.
Apart from this everything is fine
