Komaneka At Bisma

I’ve been coming to Komaneka Bisma every year since 2010. It is my favorite hotel in the world! The staff is so kind and they always greet me by my first name. Ade, who is now the front desk manager at Komaneka Monkey Forest, arranged my reservation for me, and her husband (Tutna) picked me up at the airport. Kande, the manager, was always making sure my stay was perfect. I stayed at the hotel for two weeks because they make me feel at home. The pool is stunning surrounded by the jungle and a rice field - perfect for swimmers. The rooms are luxurious with jungle views and exceptionally comfortable beds. The house keeping staff was superior, paying attention to every detail. The pool staff was always bringing you ice cold water when it was hot by the pool. The breakfast selection is outstanding and enough to where you don’t need lunch. Tea time always had tasty treats and appetizers. There are several exceptionally reasonable places to eat on Jalan Bisma ($3.00 for dinner and fresh fruit juice at Warung Jalan Bisma). It’s about a 20 minute stroll to Ubud Art Market, which I enjoyed daily. The massage at the hotel is excellent, but I also enjoy Lily’s Spa on Jalan Bisma for daily massages ($14 for a 90 minute aromatherapy, which includes a tip). I don’t want to stay anywhere else when I come to Ubud. Komaneka Bisma has everything for the perfect stay and the Balinese people are the nicest people in the world. I’ll come home to Komaneka Bisma again!

We recently stayed at Komaneka at Bisma with our daughter, and the experience was outstanding from beginning to end. What impressed us most was the genuinely personal service. From the very first day, the staff remembered all of our names, making us feel truly welcomed and valued throughout our stay. The room was luxurious, spacious, and beautifully designed, blending Balinese elegance with modern comfort. Every detail seemed carefully considered, creating a relaxing atmosphere that made us feel at home while still enjoying a true luxury resort experience. The breakfast experience was another highlight. The menu already offered a great selection, but whenever we had specific preferences, the team was happy to prepare alternative breakfast options to suit our needs. This level of flexibility and attention to detail was greatly appreciated. The restaurant staff were excellent, always friendly, attentive, and professional. A special mention goes to Diwaju, whose warm personality and constant big smile brightened every meal. Her kindness, genuine care, and positive energy made a lasting impression on our family. The location is also fantastic. Nestled in a peaceful setting near the center of Ubud, it offers the perfect balance between tranquility and convenience. It was an excellent base for exploring not only Ubud itself but also for taking day trips to other parts of Bali, making excursions around the island easy and comfortable. The beautiful surroundings, luxurious accommodations, outstanding hospitality, and exceptional service made our stay unforgettable. We highly recommend Komaneka at Bisma to anyone visiting Ubud and hope to return again in the future. Thank you to the entire team for making our family vacation so special! 🙏🌴✨

I have stayed in lots of five star hotels around the world, but this was one of the best hotels that I have stayed in! Everything, from the service, to the rooms, to the pools, to the gardens and the location was excellent. We stayed for 7 nights and didn’t want to leave. During our stay it was our little boy’s 5th birthday, and the hotel couldn’t have handled it better: with personalised cake, decorating our room and seemingly almost every member of staff knowing and wishing our son happy birth by name. The main pool, with ‘infinity’ edges on three sides over looking jungle/gardens in all three directions was also standout (as was our ‘floating breakfast’ in the pool one morning!). I couldn’t recommend this hotel more highly.

My second home. Of all the places I’ve stayed in Bali, this was by far the most perfect. The villa is absolutely perfect! All food is delicious, and everything is clean, comfortable, and incredibly peaceful. When I returned a year later, Ms.Mei welcomed me back with a thoughtful gift and a handwritten card🥹 I truly touched my heart. Mr.Ngakan Kande also remembered me and warmly greeted us after a year. This is a place I’ll come back to every single time I visit Bali. Highly, highly recommend.
