Katala Villas

We stayed at Katala Suites & Villas for 2 weeks with our children. We had 2 suites at our disposal with a view of the garden. We had a fantastic time. Friendly and very helpful staff and owners. We received great advice on discovering the other Bali. A beautiful garden that feels like paradise! You can see that attention is paid to it all day long. And the cleaning is also very good. Every day the room looks nice and fresh again. On my son's 18th birthday, cake was arranged and they sang for him. His room was also extensively decorated. A big thank you to everyone at Katala Suites & Villas for this unforgettable experience.

This was our third visit in three years, and we are returning again next year. A fabulous, quiet place with great staff, good pool and only a ten minute walk to the main strip with multiple great shops, cheap massages, restaurants and cafes for breakfast and other meals; and a few more minutes to the beach area. The cleaning and servicing of the rooms is also excellent. And the Wi-Fi worked well! That’s why we keep going back.

Don't walk past this resort without serious consideration of intent to stay. I appreciate guests expectations differ greatly, if you are looking for a fully modern 5* that generally comes with a high price tag then look towards those more impersonal larger resorts. This resort offers most modern requirements it is comfortable, charming and delivers a true Balinese welcome and feel in its design and ambience . It delivers exactly what it describes on all of the websites so there should not be any surprises. If you want a peaceful oasis, close by to the main drag and best beaches of Sanur all within easy walking distance this will deliver. The room designs maintain a Balinese feel. They are spacious with plenty of light, the room provides a good aircon, a nice place to sit outside, fridge, authentic outdoor shower area. Great reliable WiFi throughout. A good size pool to allow for swim not just dip. I have found the beds to be extremely comfortable. The gardens are well maintained. The rooms are expertly cleaned on a daily basis. The resort respects environmental challenges but I'm confident if you are a person that requires more towels or linen changes they would willing oblige. There is regular mosquito spraying and guests are reliably informed as to when this is happening. The top back rooms are afforded a wonderful breeze. The staff are warm, good at their jobs and are eager to please. The entrance is unassuming, but when you enter you get the wow of the pool and garden area, that's before you see your beautiful lodgings. It may prudent if you require assistance with luggage or mobility you let the Reception know prior to arrival. There is always plenty of personnel on hand to assist. So if you want an authentic, warm, Balinese stay that is accompanied with most present day requirements for an excellent and justified price point in an excellent location, check out Katalya. BTW, I have stayed here on a number of occassions short medium and long stays. I have also stayed at other properties in Sanur including those upper end resorts, all have been satisfactory but this is definitely my go to, the place that brings me the experience I come to Bali for.

The staff at Katala Villas is excellent and very accommodating to make your stay even better. Matteo, the Manager works to make you happy and your stay perfect. The villas are always clean, neat, tidy and in very good condition. The location is very quiet. My wife and I have stayed here twice and will be staying when we come to Sanur again, because all the staff treat you as family. I wanted something in Denpasar and the staff arranged to get it for me as delivery would not be timely. How good! Thank you Katala Villas
