Jimbaran Bay Beach Resort & Spa

​I stayed with my partner in room 300 from 2nd October to 5th October 2026, and I was very unimpressed with the service we received. ​On the first night, we left our backpacks in the room and went up to the bar. When we returned, we discovered the air conditioning unit was leaking heavily directly onto one of our bags, soaking it and our belongings. An engineer came to inspect it, but we were met with very little compassion or urgency from the staff. ​At the front desk, we were offered laundry for the wet items and a room upgrade—but were told the upgrade could not happen until 4th October. As the room was wet and disrupted, we asked for a refund for the affected night instead. After continuous back-and-forth emails (4 days in total) and only after we escalated the issue to Booking.com, management finally agreed to issue an official incident report. ​This issue overshadowed our entire holiday. In the end, the hotel flatly refused any direct compensation or refund, forcing Booking.com to step in and issue a credit on their end to make up for the defective stay. I cannot recommend this hotel. Horrible stay

Hotel is near airport but no noise from runway Good stretch of beach across from the hotel. Upon first look, hotel looks dates. However it was running quite full so with people around, it looked more lively. Room itself is comfortable. Again is not new but bed is comfortable. Lighting adequate. My standing shower dod not come with handheld shower head . Only overhead shower. Front desk, cleaning crew and traffic warden all helpful. The restaurant on the beach across the road belongs to the hotel. Provides beach towels .

Good Location, but Not the Experience I Expected I probably wouldn’t stay here again unless I specifically wanted to be in Jimbaran and within walking distance of the beach. It was quite crowded and lacked the tranquil atmosphere I was hoping for. For the price I paid, the overall experience was underwhelming. I was given a very small room without a balcony, which felt disappointing considering the nightly rate. The breakfast was average at best and didn’t meet the expectations of a hotel in this price range. The massage spa was decent, but it didn’t feel luxurious. The highlight of the hotel is definitely the rooftop restaurant. Watching the sunset from above offers a unique perspective compared to sitting on the beach, and it’s a lovely place to enjoy an evening drink or dinner. Overall, the location is convenient if your priority is staying close to Jimbaran Beach, but in terms of value, room quality, and amenities, I expected a much better experience for what I paid.

Hotel is located in front of the Jimbaran beach. Restaurant directly in front of the hotel belongs to the hotel. Check in is fast and the room is decent although floor is a bit sticky and the bathroom floor is too slippery. Kettle provided is basically only suitable for one drink. Water from the bathroom is safe for brushing teeth (no Bali Belly) but not for boiling and drinking because it tastes weird. Pool only opens from 9am - 9pm and the pool bar opens from 10am onwards. Breakfast provided is a healthy mix of western, indian and local food items, all tasted great! Service staff is also very friendly and helpful!
