Jambuluwuk Oceano Seminyak Hotel

I stayed at Jambuluwuk Hotel and, while I had a generally pleasant stay, I was disappointed by the way I was charged for a snack that was already placed in my room. The charge felt misleading and honestly left me with the impression that the hotel was trying to make money through something that wasn’t clearly explained. If snacks in the room are chargeable, the prices and the fact that they are not complimentary should be made much more obvious to guests. That being said, I want to give credit to the staff, who were extremely kind, professional, and welcoming throughout my stay. They were genuinely helpful and friendly, and I had no issues with the staff themselves. Unfortunately, the unclear snack charge left a bad impression and is something I hope the hotel improves in the future.

We had a really good stay at Jambuluwuk Oceano Seminyak. The room was clean and comfy, the food was good and the pool is absolutely massive! The location is pretty handy too, especially if you’re into nightlife. It’s close enough to plenty of beach clubs, bars and clubs around Seminyak, so getting around is easy. The staff were lovely and super helpful when I needed to print a document. They went out of their way to help, which I really appreciated. They’ve also got happy hour, which is always a bloody good bonus when you’re on holiday 😂🍻 Overall, a really nice place to stay with friendly staff and great facilities. Would definitely stay here again!

The biggest disappointment during my stay was the bathroom. The bathtub and shower area are very old and covered with mold in many places. The shower fixtures are worn and poorly maintained, and the drain did not work properly, causing water to accumulate. The bathrooms urgently need renovation and much better maintenance. Another issue is that the hotel appears to be a popular destination for large tour groups, particularly from India. This resulted in significant overcrowding throughout the hotel, including the elevators, swimming pool, and restaurant. The large groups also created a considerable amount of noise, making it difficult at times to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay. Breakfast was acceptable and the dining area was clean, but the food selection was limited and became very crowded during peak hours. On a positive note, the staff were outstanding. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly, welcoming, professional, and genuinely helpful. They deserve the highest rating for their excellent service and hospitality. The bed was large, comfortable, and clean, which made sleeping enjoyable. The hotel's location is also very good, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and nearby attractions in Seminyak. In terms of value for money, the hotel offers reasonable value because of its excellent staff, comfortable rooms, and convenient location. However, the outdated moldy bathrooms and the overcrowding and noise significantly reduced the overall experience. The wonderful staff and great location are the hotel's strongest points, but the poor condition of the bathrooms and the constant overcrowding prevent me from giving a higher rating.

We had a very comfortable stay here. We had a few massages and they were very relaxing and extremely professional. Sadly during our stay another guest passed away in the room adjacent to our balcony and we witnessed the whole thing (we obviously contained medical staff to assist). Despite this, the hotel staff kept everything very discreet to other guests. The hotel is in a great location to market and boutique shops. The pool downstairs is very tranquil. There is a rooftop pool that is perfect for a cocktail and to watch the sunset.
