Wonderful hotel and holiday. Such a beautiful, peaceful place. All the staff were amazing and so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Our room had an amazing view and everything was kept spotlessly clean. Location was also great and an excellent base for trips out. The pools and spa were lovely too. I would definitely recommend this hotel 100%.
Location is perfect, a nice 10-15min walk to the hustle and bustle around Ubud palace. It was just far enough out to feel removed from the chaos and enjoy the serenity of the hotel.
The views and tranquil vibe of the hotel are so lovely! The pool and spa area were beautiful, highly recommended walking down to the spa area just to admire the detail in the cave carvings!

Incredible iconic hotel that has been around since the 70s. Lush tropical gardens, pools, bungalows stepping down to the river. It’s quiet as it is set down from the road and looks across the valley to the jungle of Campuhan Ridge - which has a great walk. All the staff are exceptional, so friendly and helpful. Centrally located, you can walk or scooter around easily. Deluxe Room was so comfortable, large with an enormous bed and views into the treetops. I didn’t mind that the bathroom is a bit dated, it adds to the charm of this gem. Definitely coming back
The hotel is very beautiful and classic Balinese style.
Set on the side of the hill and overlooking the Tjampuhan River.
The rooms are built on sequential levels meandering down the hillside towards the river.
Very clean and quiet of the road.
I had a quiet room overlooking the river and temple, with a view of a large tree that had squirrels and exotic birds.The staff are very friendly and excellent service.
The food was prepared buy an excellent chef named Hendra and was delicious.

If you’re planning to travel to Bali, especially Ubud, this is one of the hotels you should definitely stay at. Here are the reasons why:
1. The hotel has beautiful temples on the property, and the views are absolutely stunning, especially if you enjoy nature and peaceful surroundings.
2. The rooms are very spacious and are cleaned every day. The staff respect your belongings, and I always felt completely safe during my stay.
3. This hotel is perfect whether you’re traveling with friends, family, or even solo like I did. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, and attractions within walking distance.
4. The staff are incredibly kind and always welcome you with a smile. They are happy to help with anything you need. On the days I had early tours, they even arranged my breakfast in advance when I requested it the day before, based on my dietary needs.
5. The hotel also has one of the most well-known spas in the area, making it a great place to relax after exploring Ubud.
I would definitely stay here again without any hesitation. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
