We chose the Hilton on its reputation for being children-friendly which proved to be the case. A great location with fine views and not too far from the airport. At the time we had a babe-in-arms and a 3-year-old, so the small beach area and wonderful pool where perfect. Our daughter loved it and spent hours in the pool or digging in the sand. There are many monkeys wandering the ground, and we kept our balcony door firmly locked as they patrolled the small balcony too. Our children were fascinated by them and talked about them for weeks afterwards. We ate a few times at the hotel restaurant above the beach and also relaxed at a small beach bar. Both were fine. For us the highlight was the area around the pool – slides, connected pools: a paradise for kids. We did not leave the hotel for the entire three days (we live in Indonesia). If you are looking for an easy stay that will keep your young children happy, the hotel is an excellent choice. The room was fine and the staff were all friendly. I would say that I have stayed in many 5-star hotels, mostly through business, over the last few decades, and this hotel does not have a 5-star vibe for me – the main buildings is a little tired and jaded. That being said we enjoyed our short stay and firmly recommend the hotel to parents with small kids. Please note that we have not visited the hotel for 18 months, so perhaps some of the above may have now changed.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The resort is beautiful and has a very relaxed atmosphere, but for me the biggest highlight has been the staff. Pretty much everywhere we’ve been in Bali, the staff have been friendly and helpful, but here they really take it to another level. They’re always around, always smiling and genuinely seem to want to help. That makes a big difference. If I had to mention one thing, I’d say the resort could have a few more activities. It’s a big resort and there were times when I thought there could be a bit more going on during the day. But honestly, the staff more than make up for it. And a very random thing that impressed me was the table tennis rackets. We always take our own rackets with us when we travel because resort table tennis rackets are normally not very good. This time we forgot ours, so I expected the usual terrible rackets. Instead, Hilton had genuinely good quality rackets. I was actually surprised. Such a small thing, but if you play regularly, you’ll understand. Beautiful resort, great atmospher
For a short stay, it’s a great hotel. Definitely older but well maintained. Check-in experience by Laudy was fantastic. She was warm and friendly. She allowed me to check in early as I needed to get ready for a 4pm wedding AND she upgraded me to a suite. All totally unexpected AND GREATLY appreciated. THANK YOU, LAUDY! The suite was nice but could use some paint on the terrace and the bathtub was a bit stained from wear and tear. The shampoo bottle on the shower wall fell off which was weird but again it’s an older property . The terrace of the suite is spacious. I would recommend putting some beach towels in the room to use when out on the terrace so you don’t have to use the bathroom towels. Breakfast at Grain is vast! So many options and pretty tasty. The views from the hotel are insanely beautiful. The fitness center is ok. The treadmills need a bit of maintenance as the touchpads are slow to respond and the TVs on some of the treadmills don’t work. The bathroom in the fitness center needs an overhaul and should be cleaned more often. The toilets were dirty and there was no soap in the dispenser and no paper towels. I didn’t check out the sauna or jacuzzi because of the state of the toilets. There was a huge wedding happening during my stay but I never felt that it interfere with my experience. There was still lots to do even when the wedding activities were going on. Excellent management of events and guests. This is a kid friendly property and there is not adults only area. It doesn’t get too loud but still can be a bit annoying when looking for peace and quiet. Overall, I would recommend for a weekend getaway.
We truly enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in a suite and then a villa for a few nights. Our ocean view from the suite was beautiful. We loved our villa experience. The pools were very clean. Staff were friendly and very responsive. I was very impressed by the breakfast buffet, they had a wide selection of preferences for Gf, dairy free, and vegan. Our excursions through the hotel were seamless. I would recommend staying here.
