Great room close to the airport, pool was nice but limited seating. Other seating but in full sun, would be nice if they had umbrellas. Front staff lovely but I tried to make a spa reservation and it was wrong and not booked. Restaurant food good but waited nearly 1.5 hours and had to cancel the dessert as needed to get the shuttle.
Firstly, service, rooms and location, all excellent. Rooms are especially really great, almost 5 star level cleanliness. They have their personal airport shuttle, thats very helpful if you are staying for transit or the night before a flight. Harris is an international chain, I love their branding. Even the tissues have their branding. Overall, superb experience! Btw, breakfast is pretty awesome. Lots of variety and tastes great
⚠️ Proximity Comes with a Major Traffic Catch – Read Before Booking! While this hotel seems attractive due to its close proximity to the airport, the surrounding traffic is an absolute nightmare. The street is constantly bumper-to-bumper. If you try to order a Grab car, drivers frequently struggle to even reach the property to pick you up. Crucial Airport Timing Tip: If you are heading to the airport, you must book your Grab at least one hour earlier than planned. Because of the extreme congestion, a drive that should take minutes took me a full hour. Room Quality Issues: The Bed: Extremely hard and uncomfortable. I woke up with bad back pain because of it. The Bathroom: The shower does not drain properly at all. You will find yourself standing in an inch of pooled water while showering. Cleanliness: The bath towels provided were visibly stained. The accommodations are incredibly basic, and the logistical headache of the traffic makes it a frustrating place to stay. Consider all of these factors carefully before booking!
I really wanted to like this hotel. Google says it is a 4 star hotel but I truly don’t know how. The room was well worn and not clean. The bed was clean - I will give them that! We got a room here for the 8 hours between checking out of our previous luxury accommodation and before heading to the airport for our midnight flight. We did shower, eat, and relax in the room. The most alarming part of our stay was realizing that the door did not lock. We did not need to the leave the room during our stay thank goodness, but we did notify the hotel upon our check out that the door did not lock without someone inside using the deadbolt. The location is VERY close to the airport which is the primary reason we stayed here. They also offer an hourly shuttle to the airport. However the shuttle is open air which means instant sweating and dust. As we were heading on a 36 hr travel journey we did not want to start things off being dirty when we arrived at the airport 😑. We ended up ordering a Grab ride for a couple USD which was definitely the move! Staff were kind and helpful!
My room was clean, spacious, with a pleasant small balcony over the large inner Atriun. The room shows its age, but it is well worth the price charged. The TV is not 'smart', but has several English speaking channels. The breakfast is really good with heaps of options and great service. They have a free airport shuttle every hour, if you don't have luggage, you could just walk.
