We stayed at the Hard Rock for the first 4 days of our holiday and honestly, this resort is the best! Very clean, not too big and overwhelming, SUPER friendly and amazing staff! Awesome for families! Rooms are cleaned daily, food is amazing and entertainment was great!

Location is amazing! Such a central spot to be able to wonder around and experience Kuta.
We are now at the Movenpick which is considered 5 star, and to be honest it's far from it. If we had the opportunity to go back to the Hard Rock we would take it in a heart beat!

If you’re looking for a resort experience in Kuta, this is definitely the place if you have children. We don’t have children… so we actually didn’t spend a lot of time in the resort… so it definitely wouldn’t be my choice for couples or adult groups without children.
Don’t be expecting luxury rooms for the price, as it is definitely the amenities of the resort that you are paying for.
- Large pool and activities for children. The pool area is very busy and full all day.
- Daily concerts til midnight in the main bar
- Lots of food and drink options (at extra cost)
The staff are absolutely wonderful. Very friendly, accommodating and attentive.
Rooms were clean, but had the dank smell. It’s not unbearable though. Very comfortable beds and good room service options too.
If you have kids and want to soak up the amenities of the large resort… this place is for you. If you don’t have children… I would look for another place as this is definitely aimed towards families.
We recently stayed at Hard Rock Bali and had the most amazing family holiday. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, the service was outstanding and the atmosphere was incredible. There was always something for the whole family to enjoy.
A very special thank you to Fajor, who cleaned our room every day. He truly went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. His attention to detail was exceptional, and every day he created a different towel animal for our children. Watching their excitement each time we returned to our room was so special, and it quickly became one of the highlights of our holiday.
Our room was always spotless, and Fajor’s kindness, creativity and genuine care made us feel so welcome. It’s the little personal touches like these that make a holiday truly memorable, and our children are still talking about the amazing towel creations.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Hard Rock Hotel Bali. From the moment we arrived every staff member made us feel so welcome. The team helping with our luggage were always so friendly, and the ladies at reception were incredibly helpful and got us into our room as quickly as they could after a long flight with three tired kids. We stayed in the interconnecting family rooms and for a family of five, I actually preferred them over the loft rooms which we also stayed in for some of our trip. We found we had much more space and the layout worked really well for us. Breakfast was fantastic every morning with so much variety, and everything was fresh. The location couldn’t have been better either. We were right near Kuta Beach and could easily walk to cafes, restaurants and shops. We also had dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe and Jamie Oliver Kitchen and both were great. One of our favourite days of the whole trip was hiring a cabana by the pool. The pool area is incredible, the cocktails were delicious and there were always games and activities to keep the kids entertained. The vibe around the resort was so much fun. We honestly couldn’t fault our stay. Every staff member we came across was friendly, cheerful and genuinely seemed to care that we were having a great holiday. We’d happily stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to other families.

I wasn’t happy with my first room because of some carpet replacement work, but the team handled it very professionally and quickly moved me to another room. I really appreciated their prompt response.
The breakfast was decent, and the swimming pool was absolutely huge, fun, and perfect for families. Honestly, I’ve never seen a hotel where so many children were having such a great time. Everywhere around the resort, kids were laughing, playing, and enjoying themselves, which created a very happy and lively atmosphere.
If you’re traveling with family, especially children, this resort is an excellent choice. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back.
