Green Space Villa

It’s located a bit far from the center of Ubud. But that’s also why it’s so relaxing. And they also have a restaurant Warung Laba Laba Ubud nearby where you can walk to. I would highly recommend both for exactly the same reasons. If you enjoy an intimate atmosphere, a cozy setting, relaxation, and places that are well cared for, you will feel at home here. The staff and owner are extremely friendly and welcoming. If you stay at Green Space Ubud, it’s a good location to visit different activities in the area by taxi, you can also use their private guide service. The guide is very flexible, attentive, and adapts the day trips to your wishes and interests. We would happily return!

I genuinely don’t think words can fully capture how special my stay at Green Space Ubud was, but I’ll try because this place deserves every bit of recognition. Firstly, I want to apologise for how long it’s taken me to finally write this review. Despite everything, Green Space Villa Ubud has remained my most favourite memory from that time. I originally booked just two nights here before moving to another hotel, thinking I wanted to experience different places. A day after leaving, I realised I had made a mistake. I missed Green Space Ubud so much that I cancelled the remaining nights in my other accommodation and immediately booked more nights back here. Looking back, it was one of the best decisions I made during my trip. From the moment I arrived, I felt an overwhelming sense of peace that is incredibly difficult to find elsewhere. Green Space Ubud is so serene, quiet and deeply connected with nature that it almost forces you to slow down and simply exist. Surrounded by lush greenery, birdsong and the gentle sounds of nature, I disconnected from stress in a way I honestly never have before. I came to Bali hoping for a wellness escape, and this place became the heart of that journey. What I appreciated most was how authentic everything felt. This isn’t a place that imitates Balinese culture—it is Balinese culture. The villa is locally owned and run, and you can genuinely feel that authenticity in every detail. The traditional architecture is beautiful, the gardens are lovingly maintained and was like a little nature sanctuary, and every day I felt immersed in the local way of life. The owner and every single member of staff completely stole my heart. I met Puja the owner, Sopia, Agung, Wayang, Kadek, Aris, and others whose names I didn’t manage to catch. Their warmth, kindness and genuine hospitality were unlike anything I’ve experienced before. I never once felt like “just another guest.” They made me feel less like I was staying at a villa and more like I had been welcomed into a big family. Breakfast in their restaurant was my favourite part of every morning. I was lingering long after I had finished eating, simply soaking it all in. I appreciated listening to the gentle, relaxing Indonesian music playing in the background (so much better than the Western music other hotels are playing!) and watching the plants sway in the breeze. By the end of my trip, Green Space Ubud had become so much more than somewhere to stay. It became a place where I slowed down, reflected, reconnected with myself and found a sense of peace I’d been searching for. I left Bali feeling genuinely refreshed—not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too—and Green Space Ubud played such a huge part in that. Thank you to everyone at Green Space Ubud for creating such a beautiful sanctuary and for making me feel so incredibly welcome. This place will always hold a very special place in my heart, and I truly hope to return one day.

We loved our stay at Green Space Villa. The location is great, just 10 minutes from Ubud centre. The pool area is beautiful and so relaxing! The room is very clean and comfortable, but the most beautiful thing about Green Space is the staff!! They are the kindest and the sweetest ever, and they helped me and my boyfriend during such a stressful day of our time in Bali. We’ll forever be grateful. And they also are amazing cookers! I highly recommend this place. The only suggestion, in my opinion, is to give more options regarding food, because for the entire week the options for dinner/lunch were just a few (but delicious!).

Beautiful little villa, 10min from center Ubud (very quiet place to chill and away from all the noise). Very Friendly and helpful staff. Pool area is insane! Our driver PUTU was the best! He explained so much about his culture and believes/religion/purpose of life and we are truly grateful for all the lessons that he thought us. Beautiful and kind soul.
