Grand Palace Hotel Sanur - Bali

★★★★☆ The hotel offers excellent service, with friendly staff who are always helpful and attentive. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, featuring balconies and large bathrooms. However, the bathrooms are beginning to show their age and would benefit from a major renovation. The restaurant is acceptable, and the breakfast is generous and of good quality. However, the selection remains more or less the same every day, so greater variety would be appreciated. For a four-star hotel welcoming many international guests, the repetitive Balinese music played in the restaurant can also feel rather monotonous. A more varied music selection would create a more enjoyable atmosphere. There is ample parking, and the hotel provides direct access to the bypass road. The beach and several nearby restaurants are also easy to reach. Overall, a pleasant and comfortable hotel with outstanding service, spacious rooms, and a convenient location. With renovated bathrooms and a little more variety in both breakfast and music, the overall experience could be significantly improved.

Stayed here with my bestie and parents for 10 nights. It was a beautiful oasis away from the usual faced paced nature of Kuta. The staff were lovely and so helpful with anything we needed. Shoutout to Agus Pranata, he was so helpful in the restaurant and with room service, plus is super funny. The room and bathroom was clean and all the staff were friendly. The beach, market shops and Icon Mall all 10min walk from the hotel. Staying in Sanur also made travelling to other cities super convenient. Highly recommend if you’re wanting a slower, more relaxing holiday

This was definitely the right choice. Before sharing other positives; just wanted to address some other guests’ remarks. Being next to a busy road is not a problem. There is no need to cross the highway at all because everything is on the hotel’s side of the road, including the Bali Icon, beach and walking promenade, and plenty of good dining options. And the sidewalks are no worse than anywhere in Sanur. It’s really easy to walk to these attractions if you turn left out of the hotel lobby and left again about 100m down the road. The pool needs to be slightly cooler because it’s so hot and humid; truly refreshing. Positives: 1) Excellent location near the beach and Bali Icon, 2) Friendly and helpful staff, 3) Beautiful and well appointed room

Thank you to all the teams at Grand Palace. We were greeted with welcome drink upon arrival which was very delicious (a local runic called turmeric+tamarind jamu). They also acknowledged my request and arranged a surprise for my mom in her room. Good central location with a shuttle drop off service available. We would return in future trips.
