Grand Barong Resort

Last stayed at Grand Barong back in 2019, before COVID, and came back this time just for an overnight stay before my next flight. Really nice to see that some of the rooms have been renovated, and the rooms are so much better than I remember from five or six years ago. Everything else pretty much feels the same. Also really convenient, only about 200 metres from Beachwalk. They’ve got a massive pool plus a smaller one too, so it’s definitely good for a quick transit stay or even a longer one. Pretty affordable as well! A quick tip: Before you book, make sure to ask whether it’s a renovated room or the old ones. As the old ones are nah. So better to secure the new renovated ones!

What an amazing place! Everything about this hotel is outstanding. The atmosphere is beautiful, the property is kept in excellent condition, and the staff are some of the friendliest and most welcoming people you’ll ever meet. They always greet you with a smile and go out of their way to make you feel valued. Their genuine hospitality really sets this hotel apart. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fantastic experience.

The hotel room was decent though it was not the kind of room with a very modern or pretty design. The swimming pool with pool bar was stunning! Such a relaxing place to enjoy holiday atmosphere. Their pizza and tiramisu were delicious and made the poolside experience even better. The breakfast buffet was good too, with a nice variety of choices. Overall, for a 4-star hotel with affordable price was really worth it! The location another plus point because less than 5 minutes walk to Beachwalk Shopping Center and Kuta Beach, making it very convenient for shopping, dining and enjoying the beach.

First family holiday in Bali with my 5 children, the Grand Barong has been exactly what we needed for a weeks stay and at a great price. Highly recommend adding the buffet breakfast, service has been so friendly, the place is clean and both pool areas great to spend time after a long day exploring. Also very close to the beach and great shopping.
