We stayed at Fox Hotel for one week.
The hotel was average overall. The room was big and clean enough( except for some roaches in the bathroom) but it felt a bit outdated and could use some renovation: the towels were really updated, and no glass for toothbrush was planned. We asked to be moved to another room because the AC conditioning was really noisy and other buzz was coming from the walls all night long. The staff were polite.
The location was convenient, just 10 minutes from the beach and warongs.
The pool on the rooftop and the breakfast were ok but not so clean.
The hotel bar closes early in the evening.
Honestly I don’t think I will choose again this hotel if not on a reduced cost or for a transit.
Stayed for 2 nights and would recommend staying here if you're considering Jimbaran area!
Hotel room was cozy and cooling, toilet was clean.
Location was great, walking distance to beach and there are local eateries outside, including a 1-2 restaurants as well right outside the hotel.
View from hotel pool is amazing, you can see the sunset!
They allowed luggage storage, and what really touched me was how nice the front desk staffs were! My slipper broke at the beach, and the night staff offered new pair of hotel slippers! Thank you so much!!
Ignore the bad reviews here, Fox Hotel is an absolute gem!
The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is gold...fresh fruit, juices, western and asian dishes plus an egg and noodle cooking station and 2 coffee machines.
The rooms are super spacious, big bed, clean and very quiet.
The beach is a 2 min walk with high rated local warungs nearby. There are some patches of trash in alleys near the hotel as other reviews mentioned, but welcome to Bali, that's common everywhere, Fox at least is actually making changes to reduce plastic waste with refillable water bottles and recycling onsite.
What a great value, we stayed for 3 nights and would have loved to stay longer.
It’s close to Jimbaran beach about 10 mins from Kedongan market. Lots beach warungs at night for seafood. Hotel has 5 levels but has a lift and rooftop pool. Great views with a cold Bintang. Lots of other food options nearby and does have own restaurant. Good buffet breakfast.
Mediocre experience, good for transit. The room was dated, basic amenities are available but the AC took a really long time to cool down the room. The corridor was cooler than the room! WIFI didn't work at all, which I expected to be a standard in this day and age! Location was alright, there is a restaurant near the road entrance which serves pretty decent food, and Jimbaran beach is just a short walk away. However nothing much in the area.
