Darmada Eco Resort

An absolutely beautiful and peaceful stay in Sidemen! Darmada was one of those places where everything just comes together perfectly. The property is gorgeous, surrounded by nature, and has such a calm, cozy and relaxing atmosphere. It felt like the perfect escape from the usual hustle and bustle. The food was delicious, the spa was incredibly relaxing, and the hospitality was exceptional. Everyone was so warm, attentive and welcoming without ever being intrusive. You can really feel the thought and care that has gone into creating the experience here. What I loved most was the overall feeling of the place. It was peaceful, intimate and incredibly cozy, and we genuinely enjoyed every moment of our stay. Thank you to the entire team at Darmada for making our stay so memorable. I would absolutely love to come back again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful and rejuvenating stay.

I’m baffled why Google rates this hotel a 3-star. It’s definitely a minimum 4.5-star experience. The service is fantastic – the reception, restaurant and ground staff are all polite and helpful. Everything is spotless and organised. They made our stay incredibly pleasant, even providing organised laundry and a car to take us to Padangbai. It’s the best resort we’ve stayed at during our Indonesian trip so far and I highly recommend it.

The wifi never worked in my Deluxe room. A solution was never provided after complaining so I had to go to the cafe for working wifi. The restaurant is not very good. It has bad coffee, much like the nestle instant coffee provided in the room. The food is also not great, lacking a passion for quality ingredients and innovative recipes. The cafe also opens too late. 8 AM is too late. In addition, I locked my outdoor bathroom door before an overnight camping trip to Agung and when I came back, the bathroom was left unlocked by housekeeping, leaving all my valuables in the room poorly secured. I will definitely not be staying her ever again.

Excellent experience! Stunning grounds. Relaxed atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice restaurant. Our family stayed for five nights in three of the villas, which were clean and comfortable. Everyone in our party had an amazing time. It is a short walk to the rice terrace hike, silver ring making, and shops. There is an on-site spa where had massages. We took a day trip from the resort to a couple of Eastern Bali sites and the beach. We would highly recommend it!
